Jordan looked right into the face of the Sith.

"I was saying, YOU will not win today."

With that Jordan did a 360 turn swiping his blade. If that swipe connected it would cut the Sith's head off.

Leia turned away from Han's corpse, and clipped her sabers back to her belt. Once again she opened up her senses to the Force, and took in the happenings of the various battles raging in Theed. One caught her attention on particular, and she reached out for Amalia's Force presence.

Something has happened to her... she....

...Has gone to the Dark.

The realization was like slap on the face for Leia, and for a moment she did nothing but stare blankly at the ground.

Why? Why would she do that?

Something else interrupted Leia's thoughts as another sense came to her: there was a Sith in the Academy...

She felt that someone was dealing with it already, but she knew that of all threats, that one would have to be dealt with first, there were too many valuable assets in the Academy that were at risk....

Abandoning all other thoughts, Leia looked around the area she stood in the middle of, but did not see Dante in the immediate area. She knew however that he had not strayed far.

"Dante" she yelled to grab his attention to her, and then she set off at a run for the Academy, where KyVin faced a Sith threat right in the supposedly secure home of the Jedi...

Dante heard the call, having been keeping watch, letting the family settle its own disputes. He followed Leia, his legs keeping up easily, following the Jedi to her destination.

(OOC:D ude, how long do you want to take? Well, rule is being enforced...)

Lupercus' blade swung high above the padawans head, but his other sabre struck viciously true, stabbing straight into his gut. It was a clean cut, painful and fatal, but only after hours of bleeding, as the heat of the blade had partially sealed the wound. As the ewok collapsed in pain, Lupercus turned his attention to the other padawan.

"Looks like its just us now kiddo!"

*Han turned his attention to Leia, broadcasting an image of her running through a field, into her husbands arns, and a sensual embrace.*

"Leia, look at this, this is your life. Or at least, it COULD be. How would you like to be able to take days off, to rest, to feel the embrace of a loved one, and to smile again? Leia, there is only one thing you must do, to attain this."

Perrin's concentration on his blade had so taken his attention that when the Jedi's hand shot out, the Sith felt himself pushed back.

He nearly stumbled backward so shocking was this Jedi's ability.

He felt his force perceptions shift slightly and somehow he knew that he wouldn't remain alone with this Jedi for long.

His hand shot out as his back hit a wall and the blade was recalled to his hand.

The spinning blade hit a computer terminal on it's course back (behind the Jedi).

Suddenly, the Jedi found himself in danger of being sliced again from the blade approaching from behind.

Ky-Vin had been momentarily distracted, and the Sith's lightsaber was whirling back in his direction.

He had to crouch and duck his head and body to the right. It was such a near miss that Ky-Vin could feel the movement of the spinning weapon zip past his face. A sharp pain followed by a burning sensation in his left shoulder told Ky-Vin he wasn't fast enough. The blade had grazed him on its way past.
Ky-Vin tried to concentrate. His shoulder hurt like blazes but he knew he had to finish this fight quickly.

Ky-Vin gritted his teeth and rushed forward with his lightsaber as his opponent regained his own weapon. He swung for the Sith's neck.

Grinning, Malice slowly neared the building in which his son was sitting in. Standing behind a tree, Malice reached out with the force, entering his son's mind.

(Lono.....do not cry, son. Daddy's here now and he will make everything much better. Just come outside)

Malice would wait. The kidnapping of Lono he was sure would drive Amalia over the edge.

At close point range, not an eye in sight could tell what the fallen Jedi was feeling as she walked deeper and deeper into the forest, away from the place that she once called home.

Many things were on her mind then. Now had been no time for reflecting, but Amalia found herself stopping dead set in the darkness of the forest, looking toward the direction of the academy.

Those days are long gone now... All I have to look to is tomorrow...

She felt the presence of her son, and as unwelcoming those feelings were, she smiled, though it was not the smile that identified Amalia.

It was Malice that had made her smile.

He wastes no time. Pathetic fool. What does he think he will accomplish....my son is still my son, no matter where I go or what I do. He will always be my son.

"Take him," she said lightly, laughing with amuzement.

He couldn't take what he was to her.

"Blood of blood. Yours will one day soon become mine, Malice..."

She laughed a little more and then continued on her way, Han not far from making contact with her again.

She rolled her eyes, very much annoyed with his presence. He was dead, the least she could do was amuse his poor soul.

Is that so? I have failed you? What about you? It seems that you and I have drifted toward the same path. Yet you speak to me as if I have failed you. Ha! Where have you been in my time of need, Han?

Where had any of them been?

Amalia sighed to herself.

I was thinking maybe you could tell me. Did you enjoy your death, Han? I doubt it, so what makes you think I would? What makes you think anyone would?

It was then that whatever expression had come to Amalia's face completely disappeared at the mention of one Organa Solo.

Han was met with silence for several moments as Amalia walked on, looking only but in front of her. Both Han and Leia on her mind.

A shiver ran through her entire body, she wrapped her arms around her waist. She stopped once again and closed her eyes.

She felt Leia Organa Solo's presence.

The hero. The Jedi. The strong. Composed. Unbreakable. That was just on the outside. The inside was a completely different matter.

Amalia thought privately to herself for a moment before responding to Han.

So she has finally noticed, but she has no idea what I have yet to become...

....Amalia narrowed her eyes, moved to wrap her robe more tightly around her.

...Something too has happened to her. Jedi...It was not the blade of a Jedi that took Han's life today.

Amazing, even with the grasp of the darkside, she still could feel Leia.

It would have worried Amalia. She felt Han's death just as it occurred, felt both Han and Leia's feelings. She'd pushed both of them aside then, shrugging off both figures as if they had meant nothing.

Han forced her to reflect somehow. He had caught himself in a place where he did not belong.

You know little of what you speak, Han. Before she turns her back on me?? She already has! For months now I have been with failure. I have failed her. Comfort and guidance are the only things she knows how to give. Day in and day out I feel her presence in my mind as I walk this very planet! Day after day she feels and I feel her too! It never goes away, and I am useless to do anything about it. Time after time she turns away from me and I am left only to feel!

Amalia's pace quickened.

Confront her? Yes, that is what you want me to do, isn't it? I care not to waste my time, Han. Too much time I have wasted. I have better things to do with my time.

Han's death would haunt Leia, but so would his spirit.

You are wasting your time, Han. Leave it to someone else. Your words will change nothing. Her path is her own, she needs no confrentation to see that.

The Academy and her home had long gone out of view by now, but the connections via the force with her students, friends, and family still remained with her. Something that the darkside could not even manage to take away, even through traces of the darkside.

She was now a threat to all who knew her. No one was safe, not even the Sith.

She'd be gone missing, but she would be back. Soon all would know the true wraith of the darkside...

His back to a wall, Perrin knew there was no time to retrieve his saber and block the charging Jedi. The Jedi's swing was high and it went for the kill.

So Perrin did the only thing he could...

He slid down the wall and as the swing completed it struck the wall above his head.

The heat of the Jedi's saber singed his hair and it's hum rang in his ears.

The loss of concentration made his saber clang against the wall and drop to the floor and in the Jedi's movement, Perrin found himself in a most enviable spot...

...for the swing of the Jedi had taken his blade over Perrin's head exposing the Jedi from the chest down.

Knife still in his right, hand he threw it at the Jedi's chest and lashed out with his foot hoping, if the blade stuck into the Jedi, to push it further in or, at the very least, kick the Jedi back.
