Children of Men was spectacular; the movie looked great (the cinematography I guess you would call it) and Clive Owen's performance was stunning.

Nacho Libre -

Not as funny as I thought it would be, but it was alright. I'd watch it again.

Children of Men , I want to see , as well as Apocalypto.

Finally saw Casino Royale, and enjoyed it.

Good start for Craig I think, love the fact that he made loads of mistakes and stuff.

Smokin' Aces wasn't as good as I thought it would have been. I'm actually disappointed in it.

This morning as I flipped through the movie channels I saw Lolita in the guide and noticed it was an old Stanley Kubrick movie. Being a fan of A Clockwork Orange I decided to watch it and I must say it is reflective of his style. Very weird, but interesting 'til the credits.

Bah, its January/February, which other than September is the worst time for movies. The dumping ground of hollywood filth. Pretty much you watch Oscar leftovers or lower your expectations and goto the theater and see whatever cruddy movie is out. Not even many "big releases" Hannibal Rising I guess is big but its gonna flop. Ghost Rider will be big but isn't being screened to critics, which of course is a BAD sign. The only movie I am looking forward to is The Number 23 with Jim Carrey, it looks intriguing.

I had a choice between Pan's Labyrinth or Letters from Iwo Jima, I chose letters. I heard it was good but very dark and not for kids in any way. Of course it is in spanish to make sure you know that before watching. Letters was amazing though.
