The Boondock Saints (1999) - my new favourite action movie of all time. Lots of violence and lots of swearing, though (they use the word fuck 246 times, I'm told). Might not be your thing. But really, really good otherwise.

I had a thread about that movie in this forum awhile back. Great film.

Hard Candy

It's hard to swallow, but all the same; worth the view. Shook and shocked me, it did.

I thought man of the year was really good. It was both funny with some drama and a good story line. I enjoyed it.

The Prestige was good.

Flags of Our Fathers was pretty good.. I was hoping for more of the battle but the photoshow at the ending credits was awesome! Complete with cool music it was touching.

An American Haunting -

Good movie, but as far as scary, the trailer was scarier than the actual thing. There was one scene that should have been cut to make it more of a mystery. That one three seconds of films clues you in to the big secret behind the haunting. I don't like scary movies, avoid them like the plaque so the trailer had me all geared up for something awful, but it was standard ghost movie fair. Still, I liked it.

I just saw Brick last night, and it is by far one of the greatest cinematic adventure I have ever seen.
