Slowly turning in her seat, she gave her husband a reasuring smile.

"Since we're underway, why don't you go take a rest? I'm sure I can handle things from here. If we run into trouble, I'll let you know, hmm?"

Giving him a kiss, she grinned, tilting her head towards one side a bit.

"Besides, there's more than enough to help get you back to normal."

He smiled at that but nodded. Standing, he kissed the top of her head and rubbed his hand on Magaia's. Walking back to his quarters, he climbed onto the cot and stared at the ceiling. Lots of things were running through his head bu he pushed them away and concentrated on sleeping.

Just another day. That's all it is. Just another day.

Silence crept into the cockpit after Zerxes left, and Raven sank even further into the chair, with Magaia taking full advantage of it and cuddling further against her.

"What's wrong with him? Is he sick?" the feline whispered, possibly fearing that the very question would draw him back up to the cockpit.

"He's been the way he is for a very long time. Going against his natural instincts for a long period of time gets to him. It probably tore him appart when I failed to return soon enough from Kiyar."

Raven then sighed tiredly, scratching behind the little feline's ears absently.

"Once we get back, it won't take long for him to return to his old self. Just you wait."

It wouldn't take him long once they got home, but in his current state and stuck aboard a ship, it would take a long while for him to return to normal. The fact that there was nothing of the darkisde to do, he wouldn't do anything to his wife or Magaia, only made it worse. It was like a symptom of withdrawal. When he could not use the darkside, he got nautious and sick.

The dreams he had were more like nightmares. He knew soon enough that he would meet up with Kamon again and they would fight. He could see that if neither of them died this battle, neither of them ever would by the others hand. It would come from something outside of their feud. Something still elusive to him, but it was there. A war was brewing.

"I hope so. I think he's good, but don't tell him I said so." Magaia told her, keeping her voice low so that only Raven could hear.

"He's only good to certain special people." Raven replied, giving the feline a knowing wink as she gazed up at her with those huge green eyes of hers.

"Am I one of them?" she asked.

"I think so." Raven replied, slowly rising from her seat, gently removing Magaia's tail that had wrapped around her to set the pint-size feline down on the seat that Raven just vacated.

Magaia could only look up at her, those eyes staring at her, wide with fear.

"I'm not gonna go far, Mag. Just gonna check up on him to make sure he's okay. Just stay where you are and not mess with anything, hmm? That way, I know where to find you later."

Seeing the little feline nod, Raven headed out of the cockpit, knowing full well that she could trust the girl at this point.

Making sure she kept her movement quiet so that she wouldn't disturb him, Raven entered the room and sat on a nearby chair near the cot.

And, as it so happened, she saw him toss and turn a lot, muttering under his breath. The dreams were getting worse the closer they got to home and he thought it might be because of the stronger darkside presence there. Maybe, however, once they arrived they would stop. Only if the darkside wanted them to.

He was on the edge of a cliff looking down at two broken bodies. They'd been killed right in front of his eyes when they both had attacked the other man. He goggled down at the two bodies, one was his wife the other his adopted daughter. Spinning angrily, he confronted the other man.

"You will pay!"

"Will I, Zerxes? Or will I destroy you like I did them?"

"No!"

Zerxes charged and....

He suddenly woke up and found sweat dripping from his forehead. Raven was seated across from him and he was breathing heavily, almost laboriously. He tried to get his breath back as he lay there looking into her eyes.

She watched him toss and turn in his sleep, a frown creasing her lips. There was so much going on within him, Raven reasoned, frowning with concern as she heard him curse under his breathe, leaning forward in her seat, her face merely an inch or so from his.

Even the sith, apparently, had bad dreams, no matter how negetive their mindset, they still had them. Whatever the dream was, it obviously shook him up to the point where he was thrust back into wakefulness, breathing laborously as if he were recovering from a battle, as opposed to a dream.

"You seemed to be fighting something terrible." Raven mumured, reaching out with her fingers to caress his cheek.

"Worse..."

His breathing began to slow as he regained control over his own body. The things he had seen wer eoutrageous. His brother would never do what he had seen happening around him. Or would he? There was much Zerxes didn't know about his little brother. More than he could possibly imagine.

"My brother."

Raven moved to lay down next to him on the bed, leaning on her elbows so that she could look into in his eyes. She felt there was something more to that dream that he wouldn't say, for it obviously shaken him up.

But, then again, there was so little she knew about his mysterious brother, hearing so little about the man who was her brother-in-law.

"Let us hope that it's just a dream then." Raven smiled reasuringly, leaning over on her elbows to give him a kiss.

He let her kiss him, not putting any effrt in to do anything.

"It wasn't a dream. It was a vision of the darkside. I know it was."

He looked up at her from staring through her at an empty and vacant wall. She reminded him a lot of his mother but he would never tell her that. Especially after what he had done ot his parents.
