Endgame: The Dark Side of Democracy (TNSO, TJO) #4

Through it all, she had watched. Hidden in the shadows and masked by the precenses of other, more powerful dark beings. Why would those of the light pay any attention to the likes of her when there were bigger fish to play with. Even with the arrival of Jiren - a man returned from the grave - she did not interfere. There was no use getting herself killed when there was still so much to be done.

Tevarii had enjoyed the show, the battle between her Pretender and the Rogue Masters. It was about time Lupercus had been taken down a notch or two, and she pleased to have been present to witness it. However, she could feel how faint his life spark was now and how it was fading still. It would extinguish in moments and she could not allow that to happen.

Yet.

Protecting herself from the heat of the flames Tevarii glided through the trees to stand above the tree that rested on the mangled body of her master. With the most basic of force skill she levitated the massive tree off him high enough, and long enough, to push it to the side and let it drop into the soil a few inches from Lupercus' body.

Knowing that she would have been heard by those that fought to contain the fire, but not caring in the least, she knelt beside Lupercus, her hands roving over his body to assess the extend of his injuries.

" Come now, Pretender," she whispered partially to Lupercus, but mostly to herself. His wounds were far greater than she had anticipated and doubted she would be able to move him without harming him further. " We are not finished with you yet."

The second Jedi had darted in, seeing renewed courage in attacking a man who was fallen. Lupercus shot him away with a powerful force push, off into the flames. He endured the pain of his attack, letting it sustain him but now as the fires built up, his strength was waning.

"Cowardly Jedi, even bloodied and bruised you still fall!"

Then she came, mumbling collectively as she had always done since he had changed her. She picked him up by his bloodied shirt front, his body held off the ground completely by the Force enhanced strength of the Sith Sorceress.

"Don't worry, dear heart." she said as she scooped up the semi concious Lupercus. "We'll see that you get strong again. Like us!"

Holding his massive frame in her arms she ran, towards the city, the mounting flames hiding them from sight as they fled, soon to return again.

All this was going on while the demon sith knight was fighting off to the side. What had caught Malice's attention from his fight, was the immense buil up of dark energy. Turning he watched, as it had come from Lupercus, only to be used by Gash.

Gash Jiren, rouge jedi master. His first meeting with the jedi, Malice had clearly gone way over his head. The demon sith ended up in the same position as Lupercus, though not as severe.

*Jiren, i've got a score to settle with you*

Mumbling words under the sith' breath. Slowly he walked closer, as Gash was still readying his attack, one that would put Lupercus out of this fight. A black aura began to form around Malice. He too was getting an attack ready. With revenge in his mind, the sith ignored very other jedi around. Stupid he knew, but he did not care. The hatred that was building within the sith for Gash, surpassed that of even Lupercus.

Lifting his hands at waist length, Malice began to channel the dark energy inbetween his hands, just at the same time Gash was ready to launch his attack. Black tendrils of lightning swhirled around his hands. A red gleam in his sea blue eyes flashed as his concentration increased. The darkside seemeto dance with the particales of air between his hands. From this, little flames appeared. Little flames which quickly grew. A fireball took the place of what once was occupied by little flames dancing about.

Still the dark energy poured into this. With it, something new followed. Something that would make the attack all the more powerful. Ancient, forbbiden words flowed into the ball of fire.

*Necryl tenlosos dumefus........kinketsu lamo fidalo*

Words uttered over and over. The dark energy swhirling around Malice's hand began to fuse withe fireball, increasing it's size. Quickly the ball grew 3 meters in diameter. Black bolts of lightning danced along this growing ball of hate. A de effecr of the power being condensed into on ball. Malice eye's had gone from dark blue, to pitch black.

After what seemed like hours....only to be a few minutes, Malice's eyes shot open. His hair bilwing behind him by an unseen wind. Lifting the ball, which had now grown to 4 meters up and over his head, he called out to the rouge jedi master.

*Feel the pain you have caused to other's Gash Jiren. FEEL THE PAIN YOU HAVE CAUSED TO ME!!!!!!!!*

In a mighty roar, the ball lef his hands, speeding towards the jedi. Gash had just launched his attack moments before, and was now on his knees. Obviously worn from the attack he had done. Malice knew however, that he would not stay that way for long. And his attack had to have been done now if he had any chance of hurting Gash.

The ball of fire and darkness hit it's mark, striking Gash on his right side. The fire burning his clothes and skin. His right arm taking most of the blow was severely burnt. . The darkside energy increasing the pain. The explosion sent Gash flying an easy 20 feet to his left.

Seeming to mimic his every move, Malice fell to his knees. Sweat drizzling down his forehead like a faucet had been turned on. The sith knight had used most of his energy in that attack. As such, his body as worn, spent. But if he had to, he would continue the fight. would fight till his last breath.

The Sith's eyes deceived him as he watched the ball of energy he had created hurdle towards Gash Jiren. Slavatio's movements, aided by the Force, had been so fast the human eye could not have possible seen them. He had run to intercept the blast, turning his back to absorb the blow.

The Jedi Master was thrown forward, his thinly plated battle armor protecting him beneath his Jedi robes, but only slightly. He had been thrown into Jiren and both had tumbled but only one sustained any injury. Moving slowly, the Jedi Master turned to his feet once more.

What could not be deflected was absorbed, or most of it, using a technique as ancient as the spell the Sith had used. The power to absorb energy was not all together easy to master, but it did serve a purpose, when one was prepared to do so.

Slavatio's back sizzled with cooked flesh but the healing had already begin. Slavatio concentrated deeply into the Force, opening himself once more to the area around him. Also opening the doorway which would allow accelerated healing to begin.

The Jedi Master still said nothing, calling upon the light side of the Force to both aid him and fill his body for a counter-attack upon the assaulting Sith Lord.

Slavatio looked across the burning expanse without feeling to this newly entered Sith. An aura of power about him now as he gathered energy to himself. This game was about to end.

"No more... " he said, in an almost hypnotic tone.

It had begun, the Wall of Light technique which had stripped Ulic Qel Droma of his ability to sense or use the Force so long ago. An ability which had been passed down to the masters of the Light for so many years. It was centered on Malice, on his very being and essence.

A wall of light.

It forever banish Malice into blindness. His mind poured out energy through the Force. As they were linked, he soon felt Gash's energy add to his own. Two Jedi Masters to one Sith. There was no way he could overcome the powers being dealt against him. No way he could defend against the wall of light that would seal him forever in a blindness to the Force. No way he could reverse it's effects within the near future.

Blindness and nothing, that is what he would feel and sense.

Nothing.

As Slavatio directed the technique against Malice, Gash recovered, bringing himself back to bear on the Sith. He heard the words echo through the Force: "Feel my pain..." Gash laughed at that, as Slavatio began drawing on his energy.

Feel Malice's pain? No. Malice should feel his pain: the pain of a man perpetually caught between the light and the dark, heaven and hell, god and Satan. The uncertainty. Uncertainty is what he would feel.

Thoughts passed instantly between Slavatio and Gash, about the attack to come. Gash opened up the well of Force power within him, letting it wash calmly into Slavatio, not forcing it, letting Slavatio channel it into an all-encompasing wall of light. The power of the light was too much for Malice; it overcame his already-tired form, blinding him in the brutal truth of the Light Side.

And then, the Force was gone for the Sith.

Gash nodded to Slavatio, reaching out and bringing his lightsabers back to him with the Force. He clipped both on his belt. "Good idea." He turned to see where Lupercus had been; he was gone. "That's two Sith out of commission for today, anyway."

OOC: Here's the deal, Malice: tecnically, Force Meditation cannot be reversed. However, you can have Malice find a way to overcome it, outside of this thread. However, you and the Force are done for the rest of this RP.

OOC: Yeah i know. Darn buggers.

IC: As the second jedi had appeared inbetween Gash and Malice, the sith knew instantly what had happened. His attack, had missed it's target. Trying desperatly to stand, his body quickly began to grow weaker. Something was raining him of his energy......no of the force. For a few seconds he sensed the massive amount of lightside energy surround him. Then nothing. The darkside, the very force it's self faded from Malice like the tide flowing back out to sea.

He had heard of this move, but had ever encountered it in battle before. The overwhelming feeling of absense within his body was too much. Within seconds of the force leaving him, Malice slumped to the ground face first. His eye's blurred closed slowly. He was done. The jedi had drained every ounce of fight that was left. Malice soon slipped into unconsiousness.

Minutes passed before Zeta found himself among the living again.

He could not remember what had happened after completing the spell, the darkness falling onto.

He awoke to find Han still on the floor, in a deep sleep. He looked just as lifeless as before.

It would take some time for Han to recover from the ordeal, Zeta was sure of it.

"You have been sleeping for far too long today, Skywalker. Rest now, I will see to it that you will have your revenge. Another will sleep as well..."

Yes, another would sleep, he would make sure of it. All he had to do was get to Naboo, and then all would be as it should be.

Just as before, Zeta picked Han up, this time taking Han's body into his arms so as not to disturb Skywalker's restful sleep.

Han felt rather heavy in his arms, his breathing slow, almost not visible. If Zeta could not have felt his living force presence, he would have thought the Knight dead.

Slowly he walked out of the temple, tempted to cause some destruction to the temple, he would of had he not had something better to do.

"Hmm, seems as if I've kept my word, Jiren," he said to himself.

I'll be back for you...

He would make a return trip someday, if only to finish what was started that day so long ago...

He knew Jiren had already set foot on Naboo, a perfect time for the Zabrak to go after his foe, but it all came back to other things of greater importance to the Zabrak.

He would work on destroying Gash Jiren another day, he was sure it would be a great challenge for himself, he would have it no other way.

As Zeta settled Han and himself into his ship, the Zabrak's mind began to settle onto someone else....

...Onto the woman he had seen no more than a few hours ago.

"A life for a life...."

He laughed lightly to himself as the ship settled into space once more, heading off for Naboo...

*****************

Some time later...

Theed, Naboo...

"I know you can hear me, Skywalker, so listen carefully. It would be wise of you to not leave this ship under any circumstances unless danger arises and you must find your way out. You must rest so that you may replenish your energy. I will see to it that everything is taken care of..."

The Zabrak doubted that Skywalker would take heed to his words, but if he valued his life, he would. He would not make a second attempt at saving Skywalker again.

As for Zeta, he had plans to see Amalia Azalin...

Zeta exited the ship, scanning the area before him. He'd landed just near the edge of the forest so there wasn't much to see, at least not yet anyway.

Where are we, my dear...

A sinister smile crept onto the Zabrak's lips.

Wait, don't tell me....You always did love to hide, Amalia...

So long ago it had been since they had played this game. She was so much younger back then on Bakura.

For all the effort it took Amalia to hide and run from her troubles, Zeta always successfully found her. She'd meant nothing then though, and he had conveyed no harm onto her then. No, she'd been nothing but a hopeful darksider to him then.

Now he had it on his mind to kill her, he would not fail...

The Zabrak's eyes darted to the forest, he grinned slightly.

This game of hide and go seek will be over shortly, and then you will die...

The grin on his face faded away as he rushed forth into the forest, heading into the deeper areas of the forest where he was sure to find Amalia....

Dark Lord of the Sith, Sith Priest, Sith Lord, Sith Destroyer, Sith Conqueror, the list of titles was to numerous to mention. Diete Somir strode silently from the forest's sanctuary. A cloak of death black flowed around him in the winds of the open plain.

Cold eyes fell the Jedi before him. A cold heart beat slowly within his chest. Darkness surrounded him, enveloped him like a rolling storm. The light seemed to shy away from him as he stood tall and proud, gathering to him the Dark Force.

"So, you came to impose yourself upon the Sith, eh Jedi?

Well, I am afraid we have decided to fight back."

He made no move for his weapon, nor did he attack. He merely bore into the Jedi with his eyes, as if taunting them to come after him. Taunting them to attack first.

"Come, Jedi, strike me down."
  • Posted On: Jan 29 2003 5:17am
Gash's eyes flicked from Diete to Slavatio. "This is one of those times where it isn't that great to be right, my friend." He grimaced slightly, and turned back to his old ally. His old friend.

"The Sith came to impose themselves upon this world." Gash said to his blood brother. "But you know that; you know exactly what is going on here. You know we aren't going to strike you down; you know we will not attack you first. You know that if we tried, you would stop us, and the ensuing conflict would probably destroy much of the area surrounding us." The Rogue Jedi smiled softly. "Let's not play these games... Diete. Why are you here?"

The Dark Lord stalked forward, if only slightly. His eyes now focused intently on Jiren.

"Using my true name will gain you nothing. The man you once knew is dead. I am his empty husk. I am what is left behind when all light is pushed away and the darkness is left to rule unchecked. I am evil incarnate. If you wish to be rid of me, you must do the deed."

Diete grinned to himself.

"I will not give you a reason to do so, either. Other than those you already have. Now come, Rogue Master, deal with the Darkness. Do your duty and push the evil of this galaxy back. Destroy me and become powerful once more.

Your loyalty to the Jedi makes you weak. It will be your downfall. It will be your undoing."
