<font color=lime>"You know me all to well Kas, I guess I can't hide that from you."

<font color=white>He began to walk to the garden.

<font color=lime>"It is also my belief that this Lupercus character could be dangerous. I fear you're friend may be in more danger than she thinks.

You needn't worry about destroying a Sith, leave that, to me.

Ren and Kas strode through the garden. They ambled about, greeting this person, and that person. While they did not intentionally do so, they soon found themselves going through some low long needled trees. Pushing the branches aside, the duo entered a clearing.

"I will admit, the Hapens keep a beautiful place here." Kas' voice rang through the empty patch of grass. "Very nice."

Taking a few more steps forward, Kas bent, and plucked a large rose out of the grass.

"Funny, we left the rose gardens back there..."

Every force amplified sense that he had exploded in every direction. In under .3 milliseconds, Kas knew exactly where every guest within five miles was located. The effort was immense, and he already regretted doing such a thing. But...

Cloaked ship Kas, a cloaked yacht.

A slight growl rose from Kas's chest. His senses amplified forward, and located the two life forms within the cloaked ship.

One happy, one smug...

He took a step forward.

And stopped.

It's none of my business. She may already know who, and more importantly, what, he is. The feeling of happiness slid off of Jai in waves, causing Kas to turn, and slowly begin to leave.

Foolish man. Why get so upset about something you cannot, and should not, control. His heart lightened slightly, and he took another step.

Jasmine nods in gretting to Dak's cousin, having met another of his family.

"Hello, Ayanna. It is a pleasure to meet another of Dakkon's family. I trust you have been well?"

Cora eased herself into a seat away from the crowd, she felt aloof and strange. She nibbled at the Hapan delicacies and stared off into space. She was unsure why she'd come here. No reason really, just another stop on her tour of the world, but she had decided on helping out one of their divisions, she had had several instructors who were involved in the Black Sun as operatives and she had licked up every ounce of information they had to offer and was very proficient in the ways of obtaining knowledge and information.

She played with her black hair that was at the moment down, instead of its usual position of in a tight pony tail at the top of her head. One of the pleasures of being away from her homeplanet of Falleen she didn't have to live up to her position as the only Female heiress of a clan and could dress differently then the strict codes of power and honor that she was usually accountable to. She was in her late 20's, a young buck according to Falleen standards and it would many years before she would gain her father's position as Nathran(in her case Nathrina) of the Mindano clan.

She had said nothing of her royal heritage to the Hapans, she didn't know how it would flow with then. Plus she really wasn't too comfortable with it herself. She felt lonely and wanted to go back home, but her father had sent her on a tour of the stars, so she could gain knowledge of the galaxy and all its inhabitants. She decided that this was a way to test her knowledge and test her abilities to get along with other species.

Finally, she wandered out onto the populated side of the room, looking for someone to engage in conversation with...

"Yes My Queen I am quite well, thank you for inquiring." she smiled at Jasmine and then at Dakkon again, "This truly is a beautiful party, and there are so many guests, so I will not keep you any longer. I'm sure you still have hundreds of people to mingle with." Ayanna said, bowing once more and then walking away.

It took nearly 10 minutes just to get off of the main dance floor it was so crowded with dancers and small groups of people. But still she hadn't seen anyone that she knew or at least wanted to talk with. So she found herself another glass of champagene and sat down at an empty table.

Cora wandered around the crowded dance floor feeling awkward and decided to leave. She saw a young female human sitting by herself and she recognized her as Ayanna Darksword, wife of the cousin of The Crowned Prince. She walked up to the table,"Do you mind?" she said pointing to the empty chair.

Ayanna was lost in thought when the young woman approached her. She jumped slightly when she looked up and realized that the Falleen was speaking to her. "Oh, no I don't mind. Go ahead." There was something familiar about her, bu she just couldn't place her finger on it.

Cora sat down next Ayanna and started to engage in conversation," Its really beautiful here, royalty everywhere, and dignataries... Actually I think I could do with a stroll in the gardens, but i think I'll do that later. So what is it that you do here?" Cora asked.

<font color=lime>"Hey!" <font color=white>Said Ren placing a restraining hand on Kas' shoulder.

<font color=lime>"I sense ,something, but you won't be any use to me if you get yourself killed.

We should go back to the function, figure out what 's going on here.

One of the first things my master taught me, you must think first, don't get hurt at the expense of the moment.

Besides, it seems she can handle herself for the time being."

Jasmine excuses herself from her husband and walks over to the bar. She grabs a glass of champagne and sips it slowly, leaning her back against the bar and watching the party continue on smoothly.
