Green Day are fun, even if their music is a bit simplistic. I'd prefer if they didn't sing about politics, but even the 'politically motivated' songs can end up sounding good, so I'm not complaining. I've proudly spent some of my hard-earned wages on tickets to see them in concert next year.

Oh god man. Oh Jesus Christ no. Nobody check this shit out. This shit is absolutely, completely fucked. Pathetic is the best word I can think of for the Get Up Kids. Absolutely, painfully pathetic in every way. If these guys are in music for anything but the pussy I would be completely shocked. It's just everything grinningly, sycophantically wrong with American music. Zero artistic integrity. Even Guy Picciotto is killing himself right now.
