Rule Revisions - Your opinions

Damage counts should definately be more clear. Dolash is correct, most of the fighting should be over damages.

Or, I have another suggestion.

I think Gue proposed the idea not too long ago, but "Fleet RPing Mods" would be most helpful. They could be few, but strictly devoted to ruling on the fleeting issues. This will reduce the number of new fleeting rules greatly, I think.

Reinforcements should be allowed, IF you lay the ground work for them.

Examples:

Kraken in the new Ando thread, he implied he had more ships waiting to jump in.

Me in the Bilbringi thread, I RPed like this was a quick spurr of the moment operation, so reinforcements came in at different points in the battle, and needed to be contacted by a fleet commander based on Farquak(instead of just bringing in a massive fleet at the beginning).

Maybe others, I'm just mentioning two examples I know off.

I would like to see a rule that states that every single faction must have a forum with the listings of their fleet locations, moor points, and build ups, that only the staff has access to see.

That way there is the opportunity for more small scale battles, and people cannot simply go "Oh well what do you know? A huge fleet is waiting for your small force".

Only the Staff, eh?

You mean, that band of biased, unprincipled authoritarian @#%$-s, who collectively don't understand the concept of a "secret," much less how to keep one?

No offense intended, there, by the way.

Ralen that is a great idea!!!!!!!

In fact, I have been thinking of suggesting the same thing (great minds think alike:b )

Yeah if i had one thing I would want that. Fleet positions, area which could reinforce others.. etc

It's an interesting idea.

Except it wouldn't work, because all of the staff belong to a group. Besides, if you want a "small scale" battle, you can set it up IC.

I disagree entirely with Ralen's idea. I agree with Drayson... it wouldn't work.
