Gash, quit being immature. You remind me of my little sister's birthday party all rolled into one. Go back to your job at McDonalds and leave us alone.
See, that's really cute Griff, but it doesn't make anything I said any less true. So as long as you can't refute what I'm saying, why don't you just bite your tongue?

By the way, nice job with the put-down. Accuse me of being immature and in the next breath come out with a snappy riposte involving my somehow being a group of nine-year old girls. You must have a crack team of writers working constantly to come up with this stuff.

By the way, when was the last time Milkshake posted for TGC?

I pretty much agree with Omnae...

Though in reference to the "topic" or "story" behind the merge, we have been working diligently on that actually.

If you could sign onto AIM I will gladly explain to you what we had in mind either way.

But I'm personally for putting it off for another month to iron out the legitimacy because whlie it is "more or less" legitimate right now, the last thing any of us want over our heads is the constant nagging by certain parties to remind us that we made a whole new ORS based on a faulty skipping of the rules or tried to take advantage of the staff.

We want it to be as clean and legitimate as possible.

I can understand however, Griff's frustration because he has been looking forward to this merge for some time - it's pretty much all he has been talking about until now. He's been building ideas, brain storming, confirming member manifests and the like, and has had this as kind of a hobby of his while online.

Nonetheless the chronological legitimacy would also of course need to be drawn in question as Omnae mentioned - we certainly could not have at the snap of our fingers the entire navy just suddenly go "Tweee we're ORS now!!!!!"

And the worlds being disputed would be too easy meter countage, so I agree that there would have to be such chronological draw backs until the battles were over.

On the whole, I am not exactly opposed to waiting a month to carry through with this merger, though I would still like to discuss the "story" we had set out with you Omnae.

Mainly to show the creativity that these people actually do have and show you how a war time merger is in fact possible - however unlikely.

Lorenzo... you are correct in stating that no where do the rules state that mergers have to happen at at specific time.

There is also nothing in the rules that state monkeys cannot fly super star destroyers and attack TGC worlds but we do like to keep some semblence of roleplaying consistency and order.

Like I said, if the staff were to go ahead and grant permission, then, due to the timing of the merger several issues need to be taken into consideration. Issues that would not otherwise arise (in IC peacetime) because the OOC assets involved in the merger are not affected.

And I realize you mean well regarding Griff looking forward to this but all I hear is ORS and Griff's wants when a faction merger is between two group leaders.

Who is the the TGC leader that discussed the merger with Griff (because we need to know who [in this merger] can never be ejected from the new faction created [ie: leaders of both groups]). That would be nice to know.

Also, Lorenzo, I am not questioning you being in TGC now. I am sure you have joined recently. My question was, do you have an active rp with TGC going in the battlegrounds?

Same goes for milkshake.

The rules do state something about "active" members.

If not, again, do not think that we will dismiss the merger out of hand.

We are talking about it.

It's only two pages, Karen. If you're not going to bother reading it, don't post.

The more I think about it, the more I think perhaps they have a point.

Maybe we are a little short-handed, and should put off the merger until later? I've never been a staunch supporter of it anyways.

He has a great point there people.I would ask that question myself as well.

Also, Lorenzo, I am not questioning you being in TGC now. I am sure you have joined recently. My question was, do you have an active rp with TGC going in the battlegrounds?

I know you aren't questioning me for nothing actually i know you are being rather straight forward and trying to get people to understand the point you are trying to make.I have not been in ANY roleplays for TGC because i had no fleet.I know this leaves me to leave my position from the merger thread. If so then i would ask if i could still participate as just a member.

They didn't want me fighting against TNO because it was far into the war already and hence i had no fleet.Everyone within ORS and TGC are looking forward to the merger as well.If i am correct ORS pass for the merger but TGC do not?If so then i suppose we will look into that matter quickly.

I think the leader of TGC was Jan because he was doing most of the recruiting. Also i am at this moment in time going with the staff on this because they had proved their point greatly and clearly.
