I made that mistake twice. And in the same post.

Well, I'm off the slit my wrists. Obviously, I'll never live that down...

Griff, I have two questions.

To avert future placement problems, where did your fleet come out of hyperspace? On a map, this is how I see it so far... (pardon the ASCII art)

- - - - - O - - Planet
- - - - - + - - Shipyards/Mines
- - = - - = - -TNO Fleet
- - ^ - - - - - ORS
- - - - - - - - - Lots of space
- - - - - = - - Anthos

Could you confirm or correct this? I dropped in on the outer edge of the system (thus the need to micro-jump in) behind TNO.

Given that you said ""Raise shields, load projectile tubes, and charge weapons. Give me a system scan." I'm assuming you dropped in pretty close to the battle, seeing as you cannot jump to hyperspace again without dropping your shields... it would be a waste of energy and time if you had arrived at the outer reaches of the system where there would be no chance of being hit.

Secondly, you arrived in system and sent me a message in one post. I'm guessing you're playing off of my excuse that Anthos has its own agenda (not reinforcements), and that we're not in the battle (two posts to arrive at the battle), but the only problem is that ORS is most definitely a reinforcement for the GC, and based upon my assumption above, you dropped in pretty close to the planet. I know I'm probably splitting hairs here, but I like to be thorough, and want to avoid any large fights.

So, if you could just clarify those, we can get moving on the RP. :)

The fleet maneuvered so that the yards remained positioned between the planetary ion cannon system and their location.

What part of this, Jan, is hard to understand?

Please edit and remove the FCLC damages.

Thanks.

Sure thing. I wasn't sure if it would work or not, I was just hoping.

Thanks.

One other thing, do you stand behind this OOC statement?

With over 25 000 mines firing on your 100 TIE devils, they will obviously disable them really, really quickly, especially since the Devils had crap hull. Even so, I said that your Devils each had the power to destroy 1 mine in each shot, and they each managed to get out two salvos, both with destroyed a mine, meaning that you destroyed a grand total of 200 mines.

Or this one because they directly contradict each other

Kas: However, the ION mines won't shoot at anything over 4 meters, so they won't be targeting the Devils.

Jan: I agreed that they wouldn't target the devils,

Thanks.

I have just one question, and it is directed at Griff.

Griff, my good friend...

"Wait... it appears to be of the Anthos Republic."

"Anthos?" Drost asked.

"Yeah."

It 'appears' does it? And just how does it appear to you that these are Anthos ships? Please enlighten me...

I am confused, you see, because these ships did nothing to announce themselves upon their arrival. Nothing at all... And save for a little com chatter (undoubtedly encrypted) have remained mostly silent.
Considering that they have not announced themselves...
Considering that each ship is coated in Shadowpaint, and any distintive markings (like a super-gay flag painted on the bow) would be thus indistinguishable.
Please, enlighten me.
