The cloning facility was hideous in design, reaching for the skies, surrounded by the intense fury of the Khar Shian climate. Odon made his way through the wind and ice, finding himself only a few meters from an underground shaft which would lead to the core.

Now...It is time to end this sick production which you have taken upon. The abominations shall be put to an end this day.

The force was his ally.

A Jedi was to serve and protect, the people were first and foremost.

Not always.

Only the force... that was what guided the Jedi Master. He was not here for his fellow comrades; he was here because of the force and only the force.

He thought.

This will stop before it can even begin

It had been far too long now. He'd done enough watching and waiting. He knew what needed to be done.

Traveling alone and on foot, the Jedi took out the first of many Massassi Warriors' that would come his way.

"Abominations?"

A figure from the darkness asked.

"You have not yet seen abominations."

Moving slowly forward, crimson robes swirled around the man like a river of blood. Ancient runes, written in the blood of enemies, stained the fine fabric. A golden staff with black and crimson runes running down it rested within the right hand of the man.

His hood concealed his face but there was no concealing his power or will. He was the High Priest of the Sith, perhaps the most powerful Sith Sorcerer ever to live. His hands and arms bore the ancient chrystals of his forebearers. Atop his golden staff, a single crimson chrystal, the size of a man's fist. Each of the stones now glowing with an eerie crimson glow.

"Is not vengeance above a Jedi Master, Baas?"

Malice was about to answer Arkan, however another voice intruded. Turning to his side, he listened as Thane gave a report of what was going on. Through the force Malice could sense it. He didn't need to be told. The demon sith was merely waiting for them to reach the inner workings of the structure. But no matter. Now was a good a time as any to stop them.

*Yes deploy the massassi. Let's see how they handle themselves. We shall go out and meet them head on*

Looking at Arkan Malice nodded.

*Come, let us see just who is coming to visit us*

Through the force, Malice could sense both light and dark presenses. It would seem a very bloody battle would take place on this day. These lightsiders would rule the day they decided to attack TDC.

Malice was on the move. Letting his presense be known to all. He would want them to come.

Inside his meditation chamber he saw all, waiting and contemplating the future of the sith. His calm was interrupted by movement from the door, causing him to swivel in his throne chair to face the intruder. Very few could interrupt his meditation and live but this man was a true warrior, a creation of the overlord himself.

Yes Lord Chaos, I know of the Jedi on Khar Shian. They do not concern me. You will gather our members and prepare for any invasion group that lands on Khar Delba. You will be accompanied by General Grulong, former dark jedi of the long dead Spurned. Now leave me while i prepare. I have a little suprise for these interlopers.

Laughing out loud, he began preparation for his plan of action.

The Massassi passed and Kamon let out a sigh of relief. That had been the closest call yet. He moved to the box and pulled out a few tools. He worked some of them on the lid and popped it off.

Inside were multiple wires. Kamon had to cut the right one or they'd have trouble. He let the Force guide his hands and cut the wire. Nothing could be heard, and he breathed a sigh of relief.

He reattached the lid and started to edge away from the building. He felt something just then that he didn't like. SOmone he didn't like. Maim was here, and Baas had stumbled across him.

He started to move quicker in the hopes of getting to Baas in time. Maim was a devastating enemy. Kamon had found that out before. Now it was time for Maim to feel the much stronger Kamon.

Jedi Shadow.

A Jedi unlike any other. The Jedi Shadows were an elite group of Jedi trained to infiltrate and learn of the Dark Side of the Force. Slavatio was, indeed, a master of his craft. He had infiltrated to the very heart of the Sith Nations. To the very heart of the Dark Lord himself. His turn had created a shift in the tide. A shift that the Dark Lord could not counter.

His fall had been swift and complete.

Now as a new Dark Lord arose, so did once more this Jedi Shadow Master rise from the ashes like the mythical phoenix. His power grazed upon the Force itself, no matter which side he may be forced to encounter. He was a master of all crafts, he had to be, for in his line he could not afford to completely seal out the Darkness from within him.

To be truly successful, and live, he had to be able to use those powers.

Now the Jedi Shadow Master moved through the halls of the complex itself. Twin blades of death blazed at his sides as he cut his way through guards and massassi warriors. His troubles finally leading him to the chamber of the Dark Lord himself.

Extending his foot, he kicked the massive doors in with added power from the Force, the doors splintered and fell away.

"Dark Lord of the Sith, your time is at hand."

The malevolent signature blazed through the snow, illuminating a sick and demented creature. His robes were an obvious sign of his religion but what Odon could not understand was his staff.

He is no warrior. he thought to himself, scanning the horizon for more opponents.

Placing his hands behind his back, he looked at the sith with pity. He did not draw his weapon for that was the path of anger.

The creatures which dwell in that place are abominations to the force itself. Their existence creates an imbalance, forcing darkness upon all the universe. I will not let this continue for unlike the old order, i see the threats and will answer them. Now sith, tell me, who are you and what is your purpose. I have little time to spare.

By the very shadows, I walk. Surrounded by figures deeper places into the void than I. Wander if I may, but the light seems very distant. Peek around corners if I might, understanding the isolation from within. The very path that unfolds before me now is a stark visage of pain and deceit, but I chose this path over the other. A shattered pretense of the light.

Arkan let Malice go ahead. Walking up to the doorway, he called out...

click-click-hiss

... and not long afterward, an amphibious creature plopped down onto his shoulder. He felt a bit weaker on the inside, hollowed in some fashion. The voided Force was surrounding him and inside him, but this is what he wanted. On a day that he would fight an onslaught of intruders skilled in the Force, he would rely on the absence of it to survive... to succeed. Telepathically, he told the Ysalimiri to perch itself to his right shoulder and coil itself there. To the others about him, he gave them all signals to prepare for battle. All of them writhed in anticipation for the combat to come. The day was his!

Jogging through the corridors, Arkan was aware that without the Force, he had to rely on instinct, intuition, and the other senses that supported him. To avoid sapping his allies of their strength, Arkan had to mingle into the ranks of the taller Massassi and eventually, he knew that he would encounter the intruders of the facility.

**Yes my lord**

He turned and made his way towards his transport. Soon he would arrive back at TDC and gahter the others.
