Kahn flinched slightly from the voice, and the darkness that suddenly enveloped the cantina. Something wasn't right, something wasn't right at all. Though he didn't draw his saber out yet, he put a hand on it, though Athena couldn't see that underneath the table. A small warning bell went off in his mind as he looked at her, this time louder and more insistant. Considering what had just happened, he was willing to trust his instincts moreso than he had before.

"Tell me, what brings you to Tatooine, Athena?"

The Jedi Knight was unsure who the Dark voice had been referring to when it said "them", but he was on guard, tensed inwardly, though outwardly he retained his relaxed, carefree posture.

The voice of Phantom entered her mind. She smiled at the sound of his voice. She didnt flinch nor look for him. Athena had felt him here since she landed. The Sith Lord Phantom...

Athena felt Gash just before the loveing sound of Phantoms voice rang into her ears....

Kahn remained calm, having expected something like this. Though he removed his hand from his saber, he kept it resting on his knee, near enough to move if he had to.

"Well, at least you're truthful. If you don't mind me asking, what exactly made you decide to join the Sith?"

Kahn was well aware he was playing with fire, but he was prepared to protect himself from getting burned if he had to.

Gash shook his head, trying to free his mind of the demonically dark presence. The Jedi Master had not felt a darkness so strong in a long time... a long time indeed. Not since Ziost, and even there... it had been intended to cause pain, the transmission, and although it had not worked quite so effectively on Gash, it left him with a kind of dark shadow that amde him nautious.

He sneered as he sensed mild elation among the Sith of the area, a sickening feeling. Any happiness experienced by Sith was tainted by their evil, their constant desire to cause pain... and that hellishly twisted sense of ironic humor.

The dark presence was difficult to pin down. It certainly wasn't anywhere within visible range of Gash's rooftop vantage point- or was it?

Curious.

The speaker was a Sith Lord. So few of those remained, these days. And yet, had not he himself predicted the coming of dark times? The time of Tainted Blood spoken of in the Seventh Prophecy of Xal Kra?

Gash responded in the Force, the Jedi Master's voice ringing out only to the dark presence.

Who are you, Sith Lord? Why do you present me with such ominous messages?

Then his attention turned again, hearing the voice of Athena in his mind. His old comrade, once trusted ally...

The boy means a lot to the Jedi Council.... I would, yes, prefer to see him unharmed. I have no intention of fighting your warmonging little friend. If Malice cannot live with his defeat, he is a weakling among Sith.

Feeling there is no longer any point in hiding his position, he stood up and walked towards Athena and Kahn. Stopping infront of the two he bowed to Athena.

*Greetings Athena*

Malice merely stared at Kahn before grabbing himself a seat from a drunkard.

*It seems this plce has become a gathering of sorts within the force*

Malice sent a force message to Kahn.

*You jedi are in danger, i know you can feel it. The darkness is engulfing this place, soon nothing but evil will be present*

Malice grinned as he ooked around the cantina. The civiians that were in here started acting strange, they became more irritated an angry. The dark wave was sweeping over them, making the wild and hateful. He loved the sight. Now all that was needed was for Lord Phantom and Gash to show themelves inside the Cantina.

Kahn showed no emotion on his face when Malice sat down, nor when he addressed him.

"Danger is always a factor, wherever you go, Malice. I am prepared to do what I must."

Athena smiled as Malice took his seat.

Kahn was surprised. He hadn't really felt Gash, though he had felt someone else in the Light on the planet. However, the surprise didn't show on his face.

"I'm afraid you won't find any key with me, M'lady. And there's already a war going on, there has been a war going on for thousands of years. Sith v.s Jedi, Jedi v.s. Sith. Though I would rather not start a battle within that war at the moment, just as you do not want to."

Malice merely chuckled.

*Can't you sense it Kahn. Lord Phantom has already, or will start it for us. My mission here was to guard Athena if need be*

He shuffled in his seat a bit.

*But now i know why she is here, i am fre to do whatever i like. The blood of these innocent stupid humans will paint the cantina a dark nice red color*

Malice now, just stared a Kahn.

*Care to try and stop me jedi.....do traitor want to try and put an end to your ex-friend*

Kahn turned his gaze to Malice, his tone calm and revealing no emotion as he spoke.

"I will defend others or myself if I have to, Malice. I have no desire to harm you, but if my hand is forced, I will not hesitate to do what I must."

He knew Malice was not making an idle threat, having witnessed his wrath towards innocent beings before. The mention of this Lord Phantom troubled him more though. A Sith Lord was rare these days, and the young Knight knew he wouldn't be much match against a Lord. For the moment, however, Malice was his biggest worry. Though he was watching Malice, Kahn was also ready for an attack from Athena, should she decide to go back on her word, as Sith had a habit of doing.
