Amalia nodded to Leia, a softness crossing her face.
I'm sorry I did not ask your permission, I suppose I should have. I suspect you know why I could not and did not ask.
Amalia did not need to remind Leia of how busy her schedule was.
I'd understand if you do not approve of my actions.
Perhaps the meeting she had called to order was out of line on her part, after all, Leia was the leader of this order. Truth be told, Amalia had not even thought about such a thing before. She was just so eager to have the order do something together, she had completely forgot about the process of that went with planning such a thing.
She spoke more quietly, not unsure of herself, just more quiet and perhaps careful, even if she did not need to be.
"Well, I really wish to know what everyone thinks of the idea..."

Leia shook her head, though to everybody but Amalia it was a mystery as to why.
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> No, you do not need my permission, only my counsel, and even that is more of a courtesy. You have done exceptionally so far, I encourage you to continue.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
She smiled at Amalia, and then looked around at the still silent others.
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> So let's get on with this, shall we?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

A moment after Leia had spoken, he felt, and or saw, Amalia stiffen a little bit, and wondered what they were saying, or thinking; he knew it was possible to talk to others through the Force. "I do not think you overstepped your authority, Amal-" he abruptly cut off at a strange look from one of the others and then remembered where he was, "-Master Amalia. Master Leia, I think this is a good idea, though if a Jedi must stay, I will." He stared at his Master, hoping she wouldn't think him stubborn or too weak to stand up to a Sith if he had to.

The young Jedi Knight had been quietly taking in all of the going-ons. He noted that there had been some type of exchange between Organa and Amalia, but sensed that it was to remain between the two and did not pry. Sometimes he wondered if his Master-Padawan relationship with Amalia would ever be to the point that OS's was with his Master. They seemed so perfectly matched, and they played off each other well. Turning his thoughts from the two Jedi Masters back to the topic at hand, he spoke in a quiet yet clear voice, a voice that caried sufficient vibes to cause the assembled Jedi to turn their attention, and their ears, to him.
"I concur with both Master Amalia and Master Organa. While I, personally, would enjoy a mission that would give us all something to do, teach us some lessons, and achieve a good purpose, I do think that we should leave some to make sure the Temple is not disturbed. If no one else wishes to do so, I will remain here, although I confess it would not be my first choice to do so."
Kahn did thirst for action, after days of training Padawans and doing little else, but he realized that the trip might be more beneficial for the Padawans, and he also did not want to deny the other Jedi the chance to go on this mission.

Leia smiled warmly at Kahn and Tec.
"Your offers are much appreciated, but I think all of you need to go together. I am probably the one who needs to stay here, if it is so chosen to leave one behind. That may not be necessary, however. Never know."
The smile turned into a grin.
"Besides, I know all of you, Jedi or no, wouldn't miss a bit of action for the world... without just a little regret, of course."
She turned back to Amalia with raised eyebrows of inquiry.
"So when's the transport leaving?"

Tec smiled back, and laughed silently to himself. Actually, I would give up some action without a bit of regret, depending on what it was...

A nervous look reached Amalia's face.
"Um, a uh, transport?! Yes, a, uh..transport..."
She slowly turned her head away from the group to look at the wall, a small slow whistle escaping her lips.
"Knew I forgot something," She whispered softly.
She tapped her foot lightly, not turning her face back at the group, but instead looking at the floor.

OOC: LOL Tec, your first chance at an RP that you seem to be after, and you want to sit it out? Hmm....
Leia felt the change in Amalia at the mention of a transport, saw her turn away....
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Don't worry, if you need me to I can get one on short notice with ease...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
"Amalia...?"

Amalia slowly brought her head back toward the group, tugging at her ear, something she did when she was very nervous.
"I sort of...forgot to get one of those..yup...don't have one."
She kept her fingers on her ear, her lips pursed now, looking about slowly. She removed her hand from her ear, noting that everyone was looking at her deeply now. She replied to Leia.
Yeah, guess so...sorry..thanks.
