So what's with your kind
You scavenge to find what makes you
Supreme in design
Accuse you 'cause they had the fun
So differently divine
When my mind goes override
It's so typical to capture anonymity
I choose the crowd to divide

So you see I try, I cannot ever displace
You see I'm jaded at times, from nowhere leaving this place
So you see me die, right in front of your face
You see I'm jaded at times, from nowhere leaving this place

They made us with a tool
Then they taught us how to live
We met the candyman
He filled us with his contraband
Then they scared us all away

While your visiting your bubble of reality
Salivating at the sound of the bells
I'll be seducing you through your confession
They've been the ones you've known forever
Someone's been lied to, with all the rage caught us dismal at times we've known forever

So you see I try, I cannot ever displace
You see I'm jaded at times, from nowhere leaving this place
So you see me die, right in front of your face
You see I'm jaded at times, from nowhere leaving this place

You've been denied of supervision
Just a test tube life away
How could you make believe, that we've grown through circumcision
When it's right here next to me
Friendships change to time
And they'd never let us leave
You took your time, so too late
Missing what you've never had
I'll be the only one that knows, just how we've been abused

So you see I try, I cannot ever displace
You see I'm jaded at times, from nowhere leaving this place
So you see me die, right in front of your face
You see I'm jaded at times, from nowhere leaving this place
so you see I try, I cannot ever displace

Jail wasn't all I had expected it to be. Far less sanitary, far less welcoming. I figured I'd be able to get used to it, but when the soap on the rope incident happened I just knew it had gone too far.

"Git @#%$' ass outta' this showa', scud!" Jamo was thrown against the back wall of the wash room, the smell of the thugs breath filling his longs and causing a lump of something unsightly to rise up his rhroat.

"You were looking at me!" the not so smooth criminal yelled in a overly squeaky voice - the result of his body being pressurised against the marble wall so hard.

"I ain't that way inclined, short-ass!"

"Hey hey! You lot, break it up!"

The guard poked his head around the corner of the entryway to the shower to look across the widespread group of felons, his eyes moving quickly to the little guy and the big guy - Jamo and Kraus.

"Jakatta! Kraus! Get back in your cells now! There'll be extra physical labour and punishment for you this afternoon because of your little antics!"

Kraus, a heavily set ex-Mandolorian hunter, allowed Jamo, a slim ex-junkie, to slide down onto his feet. The two were greeted by a mob of armoured guards who hussled them out, still in their towels, in the the rec. area then through into the single person cells - throwing them violently into the rooms before locking the security mechanisms.

"@#%$..."

He had been in the prison on Kessel for over a month now with no contact to the outside world. Not one single member of the Corp. had come to bail him, or send him any word of the companies progress, and therefore he assumed it was either dead, or currently being slaughtered by some new wise-ass crime syndicate. A shame.

Heaving out a sigh, he slid down the durasteel wall of the room to thud against the floor. His face was pale and a twitch had developed in the muscle below his left eye (probably one of the results of his deprevation from glitter stims). The stubble once lining his chin had grown into a fully fledged beard and his hair hung shaggily over his eyes, not at all complementing his looks.

He was, as of current, a wreck. An unsalvagable wreck.

Gash Jiren was growing slim, quickly enough. Staring at the inside of his eyelids, he willed forward an image using the mind-machine interface he'd built into his arm.

He was becoming unhealthy.

It wasn't something that would be a big deal, a year ago. A year ago, he wouldn't have given a damn about it... a year ago, he was as his uncle; he did not eat, then. They were both strong in the darkside, the strongest pair that the universe had ever seen, possibly. Together, he and Recon Klain had been greater than the sum of their parts; they had been insurmountable, unstopable.

They had been gods.

Now, Gash felt like nothing but a mortal.

Perhaps, it was not such a bad place to be. He'd certainly acquired the trust of a fair few, and given little reason for the Jedi of the Council to distrust him. He'd worked tirelessly to help remedy damage he himself had done to Theed. He'd worked in the botanical gardens. He had not petitioned for a rank as an Apprentice, Knight, Master, or otherwise.

Overall, it seemed as though Gash Jiren was living a normal life.

But under it all, it was a struggle. At first, it had been easy, it had been wonderful. Living normally. Eating, drinking, smiling. Living with his ward, Garric. But now... the novelty was gone. Hard, cold reality had set in.

Without the evil warmth of the dark side, he felt alone.

Not empty, as he'd been before. On the contrary- inside, he felt the living force flowing through him. His powers had increased incrementally. But 'normal life' was killing him; before, there had always been something more to do, a scheme, a grand plan. Now, he felt great where he was. But something about the lack of a destination...

Just didn't feel right.

Blinking away the health-synopsis, Gash stood, looking quietly out the viewport of the Hermes. Questions played through his mind like dancers on a stage, gracefully flitting by. Where was he going?

Sighing, Gash looked down at the datapad on his desk. He'd neglected to read D31's run-down of daily galactic events, as of yet. These days, it seemed to only remind him just how few the warriors of days past were becoming.

The warriors of days past?

That thought struck him as odd. It wasn't as if he missed Snack, or Maim. Not even Recon. But the galaxy had changed.

More and more, he felt like a spectator, a wallflower on the great dance of life.

Tapping a button on the pad, he skimmed down the list for something he remembered. Something he recognized...

New Holodrama: Jayk Teein
Infamous Killer still on loose on Naboo
Grellin Trading Company Strikes Glitterstim
Jakatta Corp- MIA?
...
...
...

The rest of the list trailed off meaninglessly. But Gash found his eyes repeatedly jumping back up to the message about Jakatta Corp. Hadn't he... yes... back on Ziost. Jakatta Corp had been evaluated as Class 1 Threat, about two years back.

MIA.

Yet another in the endless parade of drastic changes...

But even as Jiren went about his daily routine on the Hermes, he couldn't help but wonder why another part of the forsaken past to which he belonged seemed to have disappeared.

From inside the cell he could hear the loud music the warden played every day around dinner time. He could mime along to the words, or even sing it exactly on key now purely because he'd heard it so often. He was sure at night they played it just above silent to torment the cellmates, to make them think they heard voices or music or whatever they wanted to call it.

"I'm hungry!" he yelled at the top of his voice, the tone wavering and croaking as he slammed his palmed against the closest side of the room. From outside a mixture of grunts, moans and actual coherent words were spoken, none of which sounded promising as responses to his call.

The work was getting to him to. He had to break rocks up every day. For what? To build some tunnel to transport some stupid export the planet had. He didn't care in all honesty what they were shipping, but after having heard the lecture about 'the good of the galaxy' so many times from the warden he had the objectives of the 'work' embeded into his mind.

"God damnit," he murmured, "I need to get out of here... gotta find a way out."

With a new lease of slightly deranged life inspired by the thought of escaped, he scrambled to his feet and thumped his hands against the walls, throwing himself around the room.

"Sit down, Jakatta or we'll give you another enema!!"

His energy dispersed into nothingness as he crumpled down onto his knees, slinking back into the corner in silence. He brought his head down into his palms, letting out a heavy exhalation.

The atmosphere of 'Renegade', the latest club opened in Coruscant city, was buzzing. You could feel the energy zipping through the air as the club-goers moved to the beat of the thumping music. The clubs best known waiter moved through the hordes with swaying hips and bobbing head, a charismatic grin on his face. He brought a hand up to run his finger tips smoothly back through his neatly gelled black hair and laughed as some girls passed him with a giggle.

"Hey ladies," Jack said in a breathy voice, suave as ever.

That was right. Jack. Jack Decker, droid casanova numero uno. He was the man, granted bionic, but still the man. Everyone in the area knew his name, he was popular.

If he had still remembered his time on the Vadastra, he would have been even more happy to be in a such a great position, however even without a bad past to compare it too, the life of a sought after waiter was still fun.

Although he did sometimes wonder who that Jamo guy was.

Doctor Pendragon, the first female doctor for the Kessel Containment and Rehibilitation Center, strode down a durasteel corridor towards 'solitary'...where they keep all the nutcases and trouble-makers.

The doctor had a un-professional aire to her...the way she carried herself, her posture and stance...didnt look like a doctor too much. Yet the goons around that place didn't know any better...All they knew was she had a tight arse and long legs.

She rounded the corner and sliped her id-card into the slot, the doors swished open and she entered the area. The gaggle of guards stood to attention, leaveing the holo-vid running with a rather obsene feature playing..."Doc Pendragon. Cell 2 is in need of an enima, as well as cells 4, 10, and 7....Oh and also got a new boy down in 12. Jakatta, Jamo. Trouble-maker."

The young doctor nodded slightly and pulled the bag she was carring off her shoulder, removeing a few needle-fulls of enima and handed a few to the guards, "Give these to the men you designated. I'll go check on Jakatta, have to make sure you hooligans havent managed to kill or starve him...like the last three."

With that, she strode down to cell 12 and enter the code, letting the door slide open, and flashed an all-too-familiar grin, "Good Evening, Mr. Jakatta. I'm Doctor Pendragon, I'll be takeing care of you during your stay on Kessel. I need you to come with me to the medbay." The doctor gave Jamo a wink, unseen by anyone else and mouth the words, "Its me, Jai."

Through the thin gaps in the durasteel bars Jaina's figure looked even more appealing than ever. It was either that, or his long time away from any women that had made him come to think this... but in the end he didn't care - she looked hot.

Jamo grinned widely and pulled himself to his feet, leaning up against the entrance to the cell to speak quietly through the opening.

"Jai'! Oh man, It's sure good to see you," he whispered, eyes idly wandering up and down his former comrades body, before jokingly saying, "In more ways than one."

He noticed her unimpressed look and laughed it off, suddenly releasing the staleness he had gained through lack of hygine - mainly his alcohol laced breath. He pulled back from the bars, his grin flopping somewhat.

"You haven't joined the enema brigade have you? You're here to break me out, right?"

Jai bit her lip slightly, thinking Jamo was going to give them away if he didn't pipe down..."Hold on, Kid, and just play along", she whispered inconspicously.

Jai--or Doctor Pendragon rather--took a step back from Jamo's cell and said authorativly to the gaurds down the way, "Guard! Unlock this cell at once, This man is in dire straights. Mal-nutritioned, horridly thin, and his hygine! Hasnt he been given leave to the showers? Appaling!"

The guards didnt want to upset Doctor Pendragon, seeing as she slipped them the rights to torture unruly inmates with unneeded enima's---little did they know, she watered down the solution. Therefore they pushed a button on thier concole and the bars to Jamo's cell slid open.

Jai pulled a stun-blaster and held it to Jamo's neck, grabbing his arm forcefully, "Come along you...Guards, I am takeing this man to medbay. He's need immdiate medical attention." and with that, she tugged Jamo out the door and down the corridor towards the med-center.

"Listen up kid, You get cleaned up in the med-bay...there's no nurses or other doctors to worry about. I'm all they have, too cheap to buy extra helpers. So just go in and do what ya gotta...I'll be waiting in Pendragon's office. Gotta go untie the bitch." By this time they had reached the med-center...the double-doors opened to reveal two ways to go: one was Pendragon's quarters and the other was the medbay. Jaina pushed Jamo in the door marked "MedBay" and went into the door labeled "Doctor Private Quarters".

---
Moments later she walked out of the doctor's room leaveing a middle-aged woman laying on the floor stunned...Doc Pendragon just didnt know what hit her when that young smuggler-girl strode in her office---on her first day---and hit her with a stun-ring. No worry to Jaina, the good doctor would wake in a few hours---slight hungover, but in no real harm. Jai was sure those guards and warden would miss oggling her legs however...she adjusted her blaster belt and smoothed down her clothes, now back in her smuggler clothes....she awaited Jamo to come out of the adjoining door any second....

He stumbled into the medbay, whipping his head around to look at the closing door behind him. He grinned to himself and scanned the room, looking for something that could help him out.

He first walked to the hydro-shower unit and stood under it, allowing the partial cleaning system to remove all the grime and dirt accumilated on his body. Looking down at his clothes, he bit the inside of his cheek - he didn't look good. He was wearing black trousers, a black tank top (with an open shirt over the top of it) and a pear of stiff black shoes, all not in good shape.

With a quick tug and brush down of his palm he became slightly more happy with his attire and moved onto his hair, walking to a small basin in the room which he leant down into to clean his face and hair. Shaking off the water from his head he looked up into the mirror and twisted his blondish hair a bit into a vague look of some sort of style.

"Smooth," he laughed, scooping up a bottle of cologne and mouthwash, placed thankfully just within reach. He gave himself a quick spray of the after shave and gargled some of the horrible tasting minty stuff, then jogged back to the doorway, sliding it aside to see Jaina.

"How do I look?" he said, wishing he had his shades and a stim to complete his smarmy look.

Jai turned and smiled at Jamo...he looked irrestably charming and scoundril-ish as always...but something was missing. Aha!

"Think you might need these, Slick.", she remakred teaseingly, throwing a pair of sunglasses at her ol' pal. "Now let's get in gear and get out of here. Hope the Felonious is in hock somewhere, cause I rode into town on a transport."

Jai heard footsteps comming down the corridor and grabbed Jamo's hand, tugging him along with her towards the backdoor..."I know a shortcut. Trust me."
With that, the two burst through a set of double doors out into a small alley between the two main buildings of the jail...Jai had been this way this morning when she posed as a visitor comming to see her boyfriend, she had had to flirt with the eldery guard to gain entrance however...but getting out would be simple.

Jai was still holding Jamo hand, running at full tilt when they approached the guard shack....they were, of course, stopped at blaster-point, "And where do you think your going, missy?"

"Why, Al, dont you remember me, dollface? It's Devana Jakatta? I came today to see if my fiancee would get parol? and what d'ya know? He did! Isnt that just peachy?"

The old guard looked Jamo up and down suspiciously..."You'se two dont look like a couples to me."

Jai could tell Al wasnt buying it...she gulped and did something drastic, but really didnt want to, seeing as Jamo hadnt been too great with hygine back in the prison.......so---to save thier arse's---Jai grabbed Jamo collar and pulled him into a deep kiss. She gulped back a "ew sick!" comment in her mind and pulled away immedately turning to the guard,
"See Al? Told ya...oh well, love to stay, but gotta go. Later!"

With that, Jai drug the probably stunned-to-death Jamo past the guard shack and down into the depths of the city and into safety...

The two stumbled out of the prison onto the surface of Kessel, into the small city based around the jail compound. The sun in the sky pierced through the pair of sunglases Jaina had given Jamo fiercley, causing him to squint as he turned to look to his fliratious friend.

"Heh, you need to come rescuse me more often."

Jamo took a few paces forward, gathering his bearings. He had no idea where they were, but it was easy to pretend they did.

"So Devana... We have to find the Felon', ey?" he murmured, tugging his hand away from hers to scratch the back of his neck. He could feel his cravings for the things he loved in life spring back into full form, eager to be satisfied.

"Maybe we should go check out one of the cities bars, see if anyone can point us in the direction of the hanger?"

He spun around to look back at Jaina.

"Unless you have any better ideas?"
