<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> It had only been a matter of days since Nal Hutta had been secured by the Praetorite Vong, and thus they were moving onto their next point of expansion...the fruitful Ylesia. It too was in Hutt space, and was the last point of retreat for the Mon Cal Republic. This would be the final battle for the Praetorite Vong before moving into a home stretch against the core worlds of the galaxy. If this planet could be taken...no...when this planet was taken by the Vong, it would be clear sailing to the other smaller factions of the galaxy.
Warmaster Zhin Dwamor and his Yammosk War Coordinator had worked dilligently and hard on the plan to destroy the forces at Ylesia and turn them into a prime example. It would be extremely easy to wrought them with a horrible virus as they had on Jaminere...but that would cost them dearly. They would lose their last shell and even worse...Ylesia' atmosphere would react differently, not allowing the Vong to set up quarter there.
Taloned hands stroked against the villip that displayed the map-like presence of the Ylesia planetary system, and the construction sites there. It appeared the Mon Cal were creating ship yards there to build more warships in an attempt to thwart the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. It would not work.<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Our major difficulty is that we have been made aware of by the Rogue Empire and Mon Calamari Republic, although our planets remain secreted, they can still counter an assault by our forces<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--><!--EZCODE BOLD START--> the Yammosk explained to Warmaster Zhin telepathically. Zhin had learned all of this and calculated it previously, but it was welcomed that the Yammosk knew this as well.
The villip portrayed the entire infidel fleet that had withdrawn from Nal Hutta after the massacre there. It was not pretty...if you were the one being massacred at least.<!--EZCODE BOLD END--> "We can suppress that by putting cruisers at key jump points,"<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Zhin bragged with a delightful grin.<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> And if enemy ships manage to take alternate routes?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
"That is our dilemna, because we cannot tell where the Rogue Empire will jump from entirely. The Mon Cal Republic is refined to Kessel and Ylesia, they are very short on power at the moment. Whereas the Rogue Empire controls a vast majority of star systems and space...they could hit us from anywhere,"<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Zhin retorted as he examined the other villip's star charts.<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Do the Mon Cal not have Bimmissari to jump from?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--><!--EZCODE BOLD START--> the Yammosk accused inquisitively.<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
"They do,"<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Zhin said.<!--EZCODE BOLD END--> "But nearly all their forces were allocated to Nal Hutta, that leaves us open at Ylesia to overthrow them there, after pinning their fleet against our's, they don't stand a chance."
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> I hear their emperor is a Chiss...those that have been fighting us off in the Unknown Regions for nearly fifty years...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
"He is only Half, and besides...he is busy warring with the ones known as the 'Empire', that gives us plenty of time to raise our forces and counter them at Ylesia."
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> If they send a worthy force?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
"Then we gain more honor from their deaths,"<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Zhin boasted confidently, and it appeared that the Yammosk giggled at the warmaster's presumptions. He had no doubt Ylesia would fall before the might of the Praetorite Vong, and even if it did not...they still could not counter the Vong, not with their locations hidden so intricately across the galaxy.<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
***************************************************
<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Yuuzhan Vong war fleets and flotillas had become common sights in the galaxy these days as the Praetorite Vong grew...and grew. For some reason there seemed to be no end to their supply of yorik coral craft, and it seemed there would be no end to their onslaught of soldiers.
The planet of Nal Hutta had been thoroughly cleansed since the Yuuzhan Vong completely took it over, destroying droids and mechanics of all types and sorts without mercy. Those infidels captured made worthy sacrafices...those who were inherintly strong mentally as well as physically were turned into slaves for war and production.
The current flotilla was assigned the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Harla Fleet<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, being sent as the first wave of war against Ylesia. There would be plenty to back them up if need be, and there were also several cruisers aligning the most important jump routes to Ylesia that the Rogue Empire could attempt to access through, using dovin basals as interdiction fields.
The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Harla Fleet<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, being commanded by Warmaster Zhin himself aboard the mighty Worldship, came directly from the sun of Ylesia, as so the persons below would have a hard time sensing them, or finding them or visually seeing them at all.
A rush of excitement tingled through Warmaster Zhin as the flotilla moved closer to the construction site of the first shipyard, and thus he knew the battle was going to be vicious. Contempt for the infidels' blasphemy echoed in his mind's eye. The flotilla was ready.<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
