"Papa..."

She had said it so clearly. He had found recognition in her eyes, eyes that were now filled with tears. A warm smile crossed his lips the moment she had spoken Papa. A word he never thought he would ever hear from her lips again.

"Yeah, you're not seeing things, it's really me."

Now that she recognized him, Adron wondered just what would happen now. He was sure she had lots of questions. Questions, he would in time, give her all the answers to.

This seemed so real, yet a dream all at the same time. Her father's green eyes looking back at her, her brown eyes doing the same toward him.

What now? Where was she supposed to go from here? So many years she had lost, and now she wondered if she would be able to make up for all that lost time. She had only memories of old to remember her father by.

What was she supposed to say to him? That she missed him and that she was happy to see him again or was she supposed to question him on where he had been all these years when she thought he was dead?

Her eyes were filled with questions, questions that only he could answer.

"I.."

"Just wait now. C'mon, careful, let's get you to your feet."

Adron rested his left hand under her left elbow for support, he grabbed her other hand helping her back to her feet.

"That was quite a nasty fall. To tell you the truth, this is not how I envisioned setting sights upon my daughter again."

He smiled softly, his green eyes sparkling.

"I would have hoped for better circumstances."

He looked her over, checking for any bumps or bruises that he might have overlooked earlier.

"Well, you seem to be all right, though you always were a tough girl..."

He winked at her, though a hint of worry crossed his face as he watched his daughter stare silently back at him, not yet uttering another word.

"I suppose you have some questions for me. Questions I promise to give you the answers to, if you'll just give me the chance to explain, please?"

His eyes silently pleaded with hers.

She could see the pleading that was found within his green eyes. She was sure he saw the questions that filled her own eyes.

She did not know what to say to him. All she knew was that she was confused, still lost.

She did not feel hurt, even though she had been without her father all these years. Her heart had been broken for all those years, now her broken heart seemed to come back together, ever so slowly.

She gently reached out with one of her hands, softly reaching out to touch his face.

What she felt was real, there was nothing fake about him.

He smiled as she touched hs face, his dimples coming into view.

"It's really you..."

She could not concentrate on asking him any questions, too fixed on remembering him, being right then and there with her father, being lost in the moment...
