Logray was about to attack Malice, when he suddenly stopped. He stared at Amalia, his Jedi Master and one of the first people he met at the academy. But, she seemed different now. Then Amalia made the challenge and attacked the Sith. Something was wrong. Horribly wrong.

Logray shook his head of those thoughts. They were for someplace else, at some other time. He gripped his lightsaber, the very lightsaber Master Amalia had given him, igniting the blue blade. He stood next to Master Amalia, awaiting the Sith's attackready to defend it and supply a counter-attack.

Kenshin retreated a few paces back as he heard Master Amalia's voice. He quickly took note of their positions. Logray and Master Amalia were behind the Sith, Malice she had called him, and Jordan was on a side. He himself stood infront.

The padawan instantly felt something was wrong when the Jedi Master issued a challenge and attacked first. He understood that attacking first was tolerated, but challenging was not. Master Amalia's behavior shocked Kenshin but this was not a time to sit and think.

Kenshin charged foward also, his pale blue blade whirling around him before slashing diagonally at Malice's chest.

Jordan did not even turn to look at Master Amalia. He saw both Kenshin and Logray with a look of pure shock on their faces. He knew he could not turn to look because that would be his downfall.

But then Master Amalia challenged the Sith. Now Jordan knew that something was wrong. Master Amalia was the one who taught Jordan that a Jedi should not ignite their blade first and should never attack first and that a Jedi should never chanllenge.

Jordan couldn't worry about that now. He knew he needed to keep his guard because he had a feeling that after this he needed to stay alive. He had the feeling that he needed to stay alive to help someone or something.

Jordan slashed at the Siths rib cage.

The Padawan Apprentice of her old foe Chikama fly through the air from the force of her attack. His facea mess from her fists impact. She felt him in anger change weapons as he fell to the ground. Her glowing form moves accordingly. With an opponent switching to a longrange weapon to the same. She begain a duck and tumble act after him. Taking one step and then making a force empowered leap forward. Jumping right over the tumbleing apprentice she saw the weapon he pulled and reconized it immidiatly. A disrupter rifle. and a powerful one at that.

Her weapons experience is extensive he only had a maximum of purhaps ten shots percartridge on the weapon. For as powerful as they were they had a limited range and took far to much power with each shot. Sailing over him As he let loose his first shot she rolled in mid air. turning and twisting from the shot. The back edge of her robe was vaped but that was all.

In the state of these acrobatics she let loose a volley of her own. With scarlet bolts from her Teepo Palidin blaster. The shots were not randam but precise with force driven guidence. Forcing him to move and dodge him self and making it very hard to gain a clear shot.

The voice rippled throughout his mind. It was one that was all too familiar. Turning, a look of pleasure crossed the demon sith's face as he saw who it was that had challenged him. Staring into her eyes, Malice replied back.

*Ohh, your wrong, my dear Amalia.......for it is just begining. The begining of the end*

Her attack was swift, and Malice likewuse was quick into action. His double bladed saber was up and ready. Twisting his saber infront of him, Amalia's attack to his back had been stalled. Though that wasn't the only attempt on his life, as two of the three padawans had also launched their attacks to accompany the jedi masters. Watching the young ones charge forward, Malice lept high into the air, aided by the force. Decending back towards the ground he landed, with a few flips behind the group.

Getting into a deffensive stance, Malice's eyes were on Amalia and her alone. The other's had no idea what went on between the two in the past, nor what was going on between them now. He slowly began to advance, his senses on high alert now, watching, waiting for an attack from either of them.

*Amalia, why not put the young ones to bed, and leave this dance of death to just the two of us. It is what we both want......it is what fate wants*

A sadistic smile jumped along his lips. He had longed for the day when they would once again meet. And Malice had gotten stronger since their last fight. As he was sure she was stronger too.

*What do you say......my love?*

The situation was too tempting. He couldn't help it. He had to mock her, mock their past, and probably their future....if they had one.

Chikami was growing tired of Vonta she had been a thorn in his side for way to long. It was time to remove the thorn once and for all. Kneeling down Chikami pulled a dagger from his boot. Vonta would learn to fear the darkside or she would become consumed by it.

Standing back up Chikami adjusts the knife to an earth grip postion, and readies his attack. Leaping over the battlefield by the aid of the force Chikami lands behind Vonta at exactly the time she starts to fire her blaster. Chikami swings the dagger around to slice open her back, and then spins to bring the blade around for another pass this time at her shoulder.

Her eyes, for a split second, they flashed with fear. Fear that only Malice would take note of. For some strange reason, Amalia could not break away from his gaze.

It was just as he smiled that Amalia caught something in his own eyes, and what she could see haunted her and frightened her.

He obviously knew what was going to happen.

Amalia smiled at him in a sarcastic manner.

"You know...you're the lucky guy that gets to make all of my dreams come true today...."

She let him see the dreams she had been having within the past month or so.

"Wonderful, aren't they?"

A silent tear drifted down the Jedi Master's left cheek, but it quickly disappeared out of sight.

"I don't have much of a choice, now do I?"

She gave a silent nod to him, and she motioned to him to wait a moment. For some reason, Amalia assumed it to be the closeness that the two once shared, that allowed Malice to respect the fight.

She knew he respected the fight, for he did wait as she asked him to, but she doubted he ever did with anyone else.

Or perhaps maybe because that he now knew the truth, he allowed her one last moment....of peace.

The Jedi Master shut down her saber, turning to her three padawans, while all the while, being aware of Malice should he decide to change his mind.

Amalia tried not to be troubled in front of her students, and she did her best to keep her face void of such an emotion, but she was sure her students could see right through her.

"I want all three of you to promise me something..."

She looked to each one slowly, she could see the confusion in their eyes.

"Promise me that you'll leave me and Malice here alone now and that you won't look back. No matter what you feel, or what you may hear as you go. Promise me that no matter what happens today, you'll never forget what I taught you...."

She smiled suddenly, it would be the last peaceful smile she would have for a while.

"I know I've never said so, but I'm proud of each and every one of you. You make not only me, but the rest of the order proud as well. You all will make wonderful Jedi Knights."

Amalia shivered again, the kind that made her whole body shake.

Her eyes glazed up a bit as she turned her head slightly to look onto Malice.

She felt ashamed, and she didn't want her students to see.

She wondered how it could ever be possible to know what would happen, but not be able to prevent it, even when you knew it was going to happen.

She turned to face Malice now, the glazed look gone, she had composed herself.

"Go, leave now...."

She sent a message to all three students via the force.

I'm not asking, I'm telling...

There seemed a sense of pleading suddenly.

Please...Please do this for me.

(OOC:your wrong on the ammo count Vonta, by a long way)

Snarling as his shot vaporised her cloak, he lept to the side running to avoid her bolts of energy. As he did his Rifle slipped onto his back and his hands dropped to his lightsabres. With a laugh, he pulled out the two sabres, the snaphiss of their ignition sending warm chills down Lupercus' spine.

With a laughter of joy, he lept up to meet Vonta in the air, his feet flying towards her chest and his sabres slashing viciously for head head. In concert with Chikami, she would be overwhelmed...

As the jedi master let Malice into her mind, he could see why he was the she presented herself now. He could see the things that had tormented her the past few days, maybe even weeks, he didn't know. But what he saw, made his face light up.

It wasnt smiles of happiness or joy that could be seen on the sith knight, but dark, and evil smiles. Once the pitures had faded, and the dreams went away Malice was about to make his move. For he now knew what must, and what will happen. But something stopped him. A request, from Amalia had stopped him in his tracks.

He knew not why he had waited, just that it felt right. His talks with Zeta had changed him in the ways of battle. He had more respect, more honor whle in fights. But it was different with Amalia. He assumed it was merely because of the past they had shared that allowed her this brief period of peace with the other jedi. Peace that will soon be shattered and thrown into the wind. Taking a bow he looked back up at the jedi, the dark smiles still apparent on his face.

*As you wish*

He watched the display of master talking to her apprentices. He literally feel the emotions running through her body, he reveled in it. The sadness, the fear, even a bit of anger could be felt. Such things further ignited the demon sith's lust for combat. His eyes, his eyes on the other hand showed no emotion, watching Amalia speak to her deciples his eyes were as blank and empty as the night sky.

Once she was done, she turned back to him, this time her expressions had changed. No more was there fear or sadness within her looks, instead replaced with confidence and determination. Looks however were deciving, beneath her calm looks, Malice smell the mixe emotions. Uncertainty, sadness. Those emtions were still within the jedi master. Malice crouched low, getting into an attacking stance. The time was soon at hand. The two would once again face of against each other.

Just as fate had destined them to, and just as they had wanted it. This would probably be the last dance of death they would ever do.

Logray listened, surprised to what Master Amalia was saying. He was amazed by the way Master Amalia was acting. What is troubling Master Amalia so much, that it would allow her to lose control of her feelings? Many questions came into Lograys mind, but he hid them away. For now, at least.

"As you wish Master Amalia," Logray bowed, then backed away, and waited for his fellow Padawans to follow.
