<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Falynn Daine stood on the bridge of the Allegiance-class Super Star Destroyer <!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->Pandemonium<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> . He had been told that he would be assisting in the attacks on The New Alliance, yet, there he stood, waiting for instructions. Something was not right, he should have recieved orders by now. Surey they had not forgotten him.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"Sir! We are recieving a transmissin from Dantooine."

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The communications officer announced. Falynn smiled, he was more than ready to crush the New Alliance scum. He walked over to the communications station, but as he read the message, his face turned dark.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"Sir?"

"Those rebel fools. They have attacked Dantooine. Damn them! Plot a course for Dantooine immediately, relay it to the rest of the fleet. Jump into hyperspace when ready."

"Aye sir."

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The officer nodded and proceeded to carry out his orders. Moments later the <!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->Pandemonium<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> along with the rest of the 1st Division of Stygian Fleet, jumped into hyperspace, on course for the Imperial world of Dantooine.

<!--EZCODE CENTER START-->

<!--EZCODE CENTER END-->

Soon after, the entire fleet exited hyperspace.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->"The star destroyers are to form a wedge formation, with the Cruisers guarding the flanks, pickets are to stay back and power up gravity wells, just in case."

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The imperial ships rocketed towards the rebel fleet, turbolasers waiting for a chance to fire at anything that came within range.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"ETA to target?"

"One minute sir."

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> One minute, and the Rebels would rue the day they ever came into Imperial space."

“Helm, bring us forward. I want to hit them now, and hit them hard, understand?” Tulok ordered, the first bead of sweat forming on his forehead, even though the actual conflict had yet to start for his part.

The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Arbitrator<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> was at the head of the Division, speeding along as fast as it could without leaving the other ships behind. It was being flanked on both sides by the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Hectic<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Logan<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, who were both easily keeping pace with it. The Victory Star Destroyers were bringing up the rear of the Imperial Star Destroyers, in a square formation with two above and two below and behind the ImpStar’s. Fire Cruisers hadn’t checked their speed at all, and the fast ships were roaring ahead to attempt to punch as big a hole as possible in the New Republic defences as was possible before the main portion of Agrarian Remote arrived. Back with the main portion, the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Terra Jasar<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Terra Basar<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, sister ships both of the Attack Sphere class, were moving along behind the Vic’s, keeping in line with the ImpStar’s but behind them. Meanwhile, the Carrack’s swarmed about the ImpStar’s; two to a ship.

“Sir, Fire Cruisers have engaged Republic forces from below,” Tulok’s Lieutenant stated, a fact that was easily seen on the tactical display.

“Are those gravity wells powered up?” Tulok asked, dismissing the oncoming battle for a moment to ensure their rear defence.

“Yes, Captain. The Interdictor’s have moved out in a spread formation , covering our aft. If anyone tries to jump in behind us, we’ll know about it long before they can reach our position. And no-one can leave, either.” That news was good, at least. Tulok wanted to be sure that the New Republic didn’t pull the same stunt they had at Muunilist, a battle he hadn’t had the honour of attending.

“All right,” he said, snapping his eyes forward. “How long until we come into firing range of the New Republic forces?”

“Thirty seconds, sir,” the prompt reply came up from beside him.

“Good...”

The half-minute passed unreliably slowly for Tulok, although he was sure that for the rest of his crew and on the ships around him it was over in a flash. He could hear the comm. officer blabbering out reports from the Fire Cruiser raids as he waited. They were concentrating on a Victory Star Destroyer that had strayed too far from the main fleet. It was taking heavy fire, but reinforcements were on their way in the form of an ImpStar and a squadron of starfighters. Nevertheless, the Fire Cruisers would be able to outrun the ImpStar on a bad day, the fighters being little problem to experienced Imperial crewers.

It was horrific for Tulok to see this. Star Destroyer fighting Star Destroyer; what had the galaxy come to?

Of course, it was different back during the revolution, when the Warlords were battling themselves for dominance. But now, to see the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> New Republic<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> using <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Imperial<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> war machines to battle the New Order... it was just madness, in Tulok’s eye.

All around, the battle was raging already.

Tulok knew that his task force was just one of many, but he also knew that every rebel crewer he killed, every ship, every fighter, was one less for his comrades to dispose of.

And the less rebels there were in the galaxy, the better.

“Captain, we are within firing range of the Victory Star Destroyer,” Tulok’s ever helpful Lieutenant put in, alerting him to the situation.

“Pass it by,” he said. “Shoot at it as we’re passing, but don’t stop. Order the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Artanis<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Enmity<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Rhapsody<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> to stay behind with the Fire Cruisers. They are to finish it off and then come to our aid.” Tulok looked ahead at the looming fleet, and could easily pick out the ImpStar moving to aid it’s fallen comrade. He could see on his personal display that three Victory Star Destroyers had broken off from his group and were engaging the doomed enemy Vic. He could hear, also, the sound of turbolaser fire as his gunners poured energy into it’s hull as they passed. The sound quickly grew dormant, however, and the ImpStar moved on.

“We’re going to take out that Imperial Star Destroyer that’s coming this way,” Tulok ordered. Having his Lieutenant as his personal aid was so much easier, he found, than moving all over the bridge and getting different people to carry out his commands. “Launch all fighters,” was his next issue. “We’re going to take them head on, and we’re going to destroy them. Bring the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Terra Jasar<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Terra Basar<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> up and position them above and below the ImpStar formation. I want the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Mooreen<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> to drop back to aft and stay there in case someone tries to sneak up on us.”

The commands were carried out, and the new formation achieved just as they engaged the oncoming ImpStar.

Redemption was at hand.

Ziost, the planet tormented by the dark side, receded into the blended stream of hyperspace travel. In a quick time interval, the stars would once again return to the norm, and a battlefield would replace them.

The general call for aide rang in at Farthest Point Fleet Headquarters barely seconds after the enemy fleet had arrived. The Naboo Sith Order had little in the way of resources to help their common ally; but they would spare whatever they could while still having an amazing home security force.

Necco Wafe commanded the Naboo Sith Order force traveling through hyperspace. He was a young, but promising commander in charge of the second Attack division. Leading his fleet, was an Imperial Star Destroyer II, the Double Nickel. The ship hardly compared to some of the forces being committed across the galaxy to acquiring Centerpoint Station, a vital trade link; but the ship displayed power.

Necco continually received updates from his senior advisors. There wasn’t much he could do from this point in the mission, so he mainly just answered a “thank you” or a “good job, officer” when he received the reports.

Almost as soon as the fleet entered hyperspace, they were back in real space. That’s how close Ziost and Dantooine were to each other. Boy, was their a battle zone going on.

“Activate the Abolishers, I do not want any more ships coming in to this sector, even if they are friendly,” Necco rattled off to his command. “Also, hail the friendly forces in this sector and tell them help is here.”

The events transpired quickly, and seconds later the Naboo Sith Order’s fleet had been given battle assignments. The Abolishers activated their hyperspace bubbles. Nothing else was coming into the sector.

(In front of him, Exel saw the engine reactor explode and a wash of flame shoot out to follow an escaping group of fighter craft, and he smiled a cold reptillian smile.)
"Rogue bastards!"
(Someone yelled from across the room, and Exel shook his head.)
"They've helped me. You, the one who spoke, fetch me the villip in the secondary bridge."
(The crewmen hurried off and Exel turned back to the tactical station.)
"How are we doing?"
"We're down two Dinafet cruisers sir... the Home Ship is incapaciated and we've taken acceptable hits to our destroyers and interdictors. TIE Interceptors still going strong... that adrinal sack idea was brilliant if I may say so sir... we've lost some TIE D's but they've taken losses on the fighter front as well... and they haven't even cracked the first set of Carrier generators."
(Exel smiled and turned to the comm station.)
"Put me on our open channel."
(The crewmen set the comm to broadcast on the channel the Jenova crew had yet to block.)
"How are you, Xylon? Doing well, I hope? If it's any consolation that Home Ship was incredibly expensive on a resource front... but... sacrifices must be made."
(He sighed, and flicked his finger over at the tactical officer.)
"Who was it, Xylon, that said revenge is a dish best served cold? I'v waited over seventy five years, Xylon. I've waited since the day I was born to hand you your ass. And there is no colder revenge than the one that waits for you."
(He watched what Xylon watched on the bridge of the mighty Jenova, however, he imagined his elder did not share the glee he felt.)
"Rise up, my brothers, rise up in cheer. The tyrany destroyed! False phrophets now are slain! Hail the lord! He guides my wraith. Praise the lord! Who points my sword! Let them now fear my evil, but give them solace, for when the racket quiets..."
(The two Massassi Carriers, even as slow as they were, had managed to from the beginning of the battle turn inwards the Jenova. They approached, slowly, but now were close. Absorbing fire from the Jenova's fore turbolasers but able to keep not a single set of generators depleted by rapidly shuffling them. Now, they came close enough to touch the Jenova's shields with theirs. The two shields met in an expanding blue circle, and the Carriers continued pushing.)
"And when the dust is clear..."
(The Carriers continued pushing, shields enveloping each, wearing thinner... the Carrier's shuffled shields, taking a minor hull burn from the Jenova's shields but pressing on. The shields now burned a brilliant bright blue, and the Jenova wasn't taking any damage but it's shields ticked lower, and lower, but not at the rate the Massassi Carriers did. The Carriers switched generators again, hull scored a black again, but the ships got closer still.)
(Exel flicked his finger again and the order came to the Carriers to stop. Exel watched and his grin grew tighter.)
"They will all know..."
(Then the fore of the Jenova exploded.)
(Well, the fore of the Jenova didn't actually explode but it did look like it, if you were far enough away. The Carriers shunted full power to their engines from each set of generators. The hull of the Carriers lit ablaze but the engines fired on full, and the hulls of the massive Massassi ships slammed into the Jenova. The massive Massassi vessels crushed the fore of the ship with their mass and speed, and the hull began to fissure. The oxygen met the sparks provided by the scraping metal, creating a giant gyser of flame, fed and grown by the steady escape of oxygen from a growing hole in the fore. The giant Carriers, devoid of shields, gave a groan to protest the Grand Admirals plan but bent to his will, as well bending the hull of the Jenova. The ship's hulls, while strong, were smaller than the Jenova's and therefore would lose the struggle. The Carriers atctivated shields which at the range to the Jenova and added intensity by the all power of the Engines, bounced the ship hard in reverse and both began to immediatly back off, several sets of generators failing under the strain. The wrecked and bent front of the Jenova had not broken away as Exel had hoped... but it was bent beyond salvage, and a firing of the superlaser now would cause the most damage to the Jenova, mor than Exel's entire fleet would likely manage.)
"They rest in peace."
(Exel tuanted, and began calculating his next move.)

<!--EZCODE QUOTE START--><blockquote>Quote:<hr> <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Surely, the Hyperdrive was out...<!--EZCODE BOLD END--><hr></blockquote><!--EZCODE QUOTE END-->

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> ...of position to be effectively activated.<!--EZCODE BOLD END--><!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

Maintaining the 90° Angle on the Republican Fleet not only gave Sentinel's 2nd Division superior positioning but also gave them a good vantage point to monitor the separate battles raging all around on multiple fronts.

The Imperial Star Destroyers added their fire to that of the Victory's against the enemy's ISD's, VSD's and Vlyx's (their "triangle" of ships that formed lines around the Jenova) and the damage was starting to take it's toll on the enemy fleet.

Most of it due to the fact that Sentinel's 2nd Division was either not noticed or simply ignored in favor of the seemingly more immediate threat of the Sith ISD's. In any event, Kaine's force remained largely unmolested, pouring continuous fire at the top surface of enemy ships that their bows were pointed at.

For most of the bombardment, the triangle remained as constant as it could amid Sith vessels and mass fighters (from both foe and friend alike) and Simon could not fault the Jenova's Commander in trying to secure a downward escape vector, using the front formation of the triangle as cover.

Even the Victory's volleys, when added to that of the Galactus, were not enough to prevent the mighty ship from slipping "under" it's own formation.

Several TIE Devil squadrons, in Trinity formation, were drawing away to avoid being trapped without support in the mass of New Republic ships.

The actual structure of the ESD still remained (for the most part) rather sound, the damage Kaine inflicted seeming merely cosmetic...

Seemingly cosmetic.. <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Yet highly effective..<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

Throughout the beginning, The Galactus' (along with other's) actions had been designed for one goal.. one purpose..

The Shadow Cannon had obliterated the forward shields of the ESD, the edges of the shield ruptures widened as the RSD and ISD's poured fire into it, targeting the active gun placements (ion, turbolasers) reducing them to mere slag. The discharge of the superweapon's energy through the top surface guns also had aided Simon's purpose for not only were some placements rendered useless due to blown circuits/systems, and not only were other placements identified, but the massive energy discharge had also overloaded the ESD's missle launchers..(the line of explosions seen earlier on the ESD's hull)

Fighters, using their superior mobility, closely followed the well placed blasts of the TNO capital ships as they slipped through the massive gaps in the shields and bleeding energy, flying down the ESD's superstructure targeting the gun positions that were protected from the heavier shots of the Imperial capital ships by the active shield overhead.

It was ironic to find that a few meters above a TIE's position (along the superstructure of the Jenova) the ESD's shields were flaring against shots from their own division.

but the Republic Fleet was moving... forward, albeit slowly due to the Sith, with the Jenova slipping under..

Simon was about to order the Galactus (really the entire fleet) spun on it's axis to get a better angle at the retreating Jenova and passing fleet (moving forward) when the Commander of the New Republic forces did an astonishing move...

..for it was <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Now<!--EZCODE BOLD END--> that the Republican forces took note of Sentinel's 2nd Division...

...but their move??

<!--EZCODE HTML START--> <font color="red"><!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> "Engage aft thrusters to backward pattern ‘A’, giving us time to reform. Realign sup-space level to 1 kilometer above all known adversary formations. Clean up that wedge distribution: every 2000+ will be directed to the spearhead edging downwards. All others will be proportionately divvied to the wings. Set the Jenova in the nexus, and retain."<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->

Gradually, the deformed front eased from the line of combat and to a clear pocket behindhand. Light blue thrusters activating and deactivating in short bursts of adjustment, the simple "but effective" pattern was formulated to an impressive resonance. The "Jenova" was centered directly to the middle edge with reinforcement ‘wings’ spreading to its sides from a common ‘spearhead’ nose. The elevation advantage also sided with them, but with appropriate downwards cover.
<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--></font><!--EZCODE HTML END-->

The Jenova, hell, the entire fleet, had reversed it's course. On the one hand, the move was understandable since the NR forces found itself a mass jumble of ships intermixed with the Sith forces. Rogue Squadron's projectile releases hit their own capital ships as much as the enemies in such close proximity.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Projectiles are bloody bad ideas in close quarter combat...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

However understandable the move may have been, though, their attempt to untangle themselves by moving backwards at a slightly upward angle only brought the ships back under Kaine's Fleet's guns.

"They must enjoy being targets." a gunner muttered and the volleys rained down on the Republic's attempt to gain elevation.

"Extend Starburst" Kaine ordered and the cruisers joined in the firing spectacle.

Suddenly, the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Anima<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Hera<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Sunrider<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Eye of Re<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Hades<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Katana<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Odin<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, and <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Athena's<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> position began to suffer due to the damage.

The Triangular formation was beginning to fail as the Galactus' scanners picked up the ESD's struggle to maintain position, not so much do to the damage done to it's engines, but because of irregular forces being applied to it's inertia in direct conflict with it's maneuvering thrusters.

Massive amounts of oxygen leaks that pushed/pulled the ESD in a direction contrary to it's intended formation.

So massive that Simon thought of the leaks as..

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Copious<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"Engines full thrust!" he ordered, for even as the Republic formation was failing, the Commander still held true to his intent..and Kaine had to smile.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> He wants the "high" ground,<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> He thought, as the elevation was becoming more pronounced.

But Kaine held the ground now and as long as he had it, he would use it to his full advantage.... and an opportunity was coming up.

He signaled the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Victory<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and Captain Chandler appeared on the screen.

"Did you see it, Captain?" he asked before Chandler could get a word of greeting out.

"The ESD's shields?" Chandler asked. "The aft is still protected.."

"Which makes it's shields area specific."

Simon grinned and Chandler had to laugh. "It's Sotel all over again.."

"Follow my lead, Captain."

"Will do, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Victory<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> out."

The Sentinel Fleet's 2nd Division was on the move, keeping a slightly superior angle, though closing the distance measurably.

With the NR ships moving backwards at a slightly elevated position, and the Sentinel Fleet moving forward at a slightly descending angle, Galactus and Sentinel Fleet were positioned to level out on the same horizontal plane (no matter how angled) as the ESD, effectively placing it directly behind the 2,000 meter+ ships holding the forward vanguard position in the NR formation.

100 squadrons of TIE Devils, holding to a Trinity formation, evenly spaced, struck at the A-wings from above..

"Sir! Secondary Republic Division swinging around!!"

<!--EZCODE HTML START--> <font color="lightblue"><!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> A mixture of flamingly hot energy lances burst out of the New Republic ships as they came into the range of the TNO vessels. Volleys of fire drummed against the pale, translucent blue energy shields, the tightly packed encasings of ionized atoms instantly losing stability and releasing the electrical power inside of them in the form of heat and light. The eight ships, all larger and more heavily armed than the Reign, used the surperior firing arc yielded by their triangular shape to engage almost all of the batteries in the assault on the two enemy ships. Their energy shields shrank slowly, nearing and passing the halfway point... they hit twenty five percent, and the attack of eight two-thousand-meter-plus ships still did not relent.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--></font><!--EZCODE HTML END-->

The Galactus' shields flared against the barrage and alarms sounded throughout the ship as it shuddered with each strike.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> 50%...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"Keep our formation.."

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> How badly do they want us?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

And the ships under Gash's command continued to fire with Sentinel beginning to merge with the NR fleet...

The Cruisers and the Victory Star Destroyers began firing at the aft engines of the ships heading toward them (on a backwards vector). The ISD's (with the exception of <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Victory<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> began to strike at the side "lines" of the failing NR formation to finish the ships off..

The Attack Spheres maintained their elevated positions, matching the elevation angle of the enemy fleet.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Area Specific Shields...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

And the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Galactus<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Victory<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> continued their firing (even as Gash's shots rang true) at one specific location of the ESD's shields...

..and after taking the recent physical strain from the Sith ships, just before the start of the Jenova's maneuver, the energy covering the area that the Galactus was firing at gave way allowing the Reign Class and the Imperial Star Destroyer to move inside the shield envelope.

But not before Gash got off another barrage of weapons fire... of which a few shots struck the shields of the ESD.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> How badly do they want us?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> 25%...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

So intent on the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Galactus<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> they were, that when they fired again, the shots struck the shields of the NR vessels now blocking line of sight access to Sentinel Division.

With most of the topside gun ports damaged, there was no incoming fire from the ESD (especially at that firing arc) that could touch the two ships.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Sometimes having the largest ship is a liability..<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, Kaine thought as the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Victory<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Galactus<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> faced down the ESD's bridge module.

"I want this position maintained at all times.. keep our shields raised... and activate the gravity well generators." Kaine turned to another officer, "Release assault shuttles and have damage control attend to their areas."

The two vessels began to strike out at the shields protecting the bridge module's base (several decks down from the bridge) and the connecting superstructure.

****

"Sir! The enemy is persisting in attempting to go for our shipyard..."

"All ships keep firing!" Vice Admiral Vorsche snapped.

The enemy ships decided to take the brunt of TNO's firing and soon an explosion was seen coming from the yard's direction.

Almost immediately, TIE Devils swarmed around the Penetrator fighters than had neglected to recloak and began firing.

The Republican vessels had sacrificed for their attempt as the two ISD's and Corellian Vlyxes suddenly spun out of control, the full brunt of the division bearing down on them for the loss of life.

"Sir, they still have life signs?"

"Leave them! Once this area is secure, we move to an opposite flanking position to aid Captain Tulok."

EDIT: Spelling, and eliminated Chau Ming..added Tulok.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> So much for setting up peaceful trade with the Empire<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> thought Maladwen as he ran swiftly to last transport. Dantooine was under siege, there were no doubts about that. What's worse, they were caught in the middle of the battle. The Empire had set up several star ports across the normally uncivilized planet, and the diplomacy was going quite well...until the Republic showed up and completely demolished weeks worth of work. <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> And to think we could've turned quite the profit off of it.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

As he fled to his transport, storm troopers were fleeing every which away, as well as several workers and such trying to find a way to get to the heat of battle, or set up for a defensive perimeter incase the Republic decided to debark for ground battle. There was organized chaos all over the station that he was at, and quite frankly...it was driving him crazy. "This is the last time Maverick Munitions comes to a planet such as <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> this<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> for trade!" Maladwen growled as he boarded the ramp to his personal shuttle. There would be a Maverick Munitions Star Destroyer waiting for him outside the planetary boundaries, hopefully away from the midsts of battle.

As he entered the Lambda Shuttle, it seemed several Dantari had made their way in as well, trying to hide in several of the cushions and luxuaries his personalized shuttle maintaned. As much as he wanted to bring them with him..he knew it would be worse for them than they'd think.

"Ok guys c'mon, out of my transport," the brisk figurehead of Maverick Munitions Incorporated said, but it was no use, they did not move. "Oh come on." They must have thought the gods were at war, and there was indeed fair reason for that. The most they'd seen was Yvonne Isard, and even then all they saw were the AT-AT's colonizing there. He looked over at what appeared to be the leader. "You're going to have the leave, the battle up there is gonna' be awful."

It seemed to be no use...he couldn't get the Dantari out of his transport...and qutie frankly...he didn't have the hear to throw them out.

"Oh alright," he said with a resounding and defeated sigh. "You can come with me as far as Fedje, but that's it!" The Dantari nodded their heads, although he knew they could not understand him. He turned to open the door to the cockpit where the two employees of Maverick Munitions waited the word to take off. "Ok guys, get us back to the Star Destroyer so we can get the hell out of here."

"You got it boss," one of them said, and although he looked cool and calm, it was quite apparent this had scared him beyond recognition.

The shuttle, with an uneasy lift, managed to grind its way out of the space port, lowering its wings from over its "head" and making a decent toward the atmosphere. The space port seemed to get ever tinier out of the transparisteel viewports positioned along the shuttle, and debris from the shipyards and dying ships began smashing into the ground all along the port, it seemed several Dantari were cought by the meterorites.

It was a jittery exit from the atmosphere, but they made it, and were heading rapidly toward the battle...it was chaos. There was no order from either side, and it looked like the Republic was being boxed in.

"What the hell are they doing?!" yelled Maladwen as he saw the fighters racing back and forth, blowing each other to the abyss. The shuttle took a few stray hits, but stayed on course. "There will be no spoils from this battle...they're going to kill the innocent Dantari who were indeed here first..." Maladwen felt a lump grow in his throat, the Dantari did not deserve what was happening to their planet...Dantooine was indeed theirs...not the Empire's...not the Republic's...it was the Dantaris'. He looked up, trying not to focus on the hundreds of deaths obviously occuring around them. The Star Destroyer they were trying to get to, made specifically in Fedje, was now turning and trying to flee.

"No...NO!" Maladwen suddenly yelled, missiles were pounding into its side...someone was thinking them to be the enemy. Moments later...it was gone. He looked up to yell at the pilots. "Send an open transmission...request sanctuary <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> somewhere<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->!"

In response he heard, "Attention, attention, anyone. This is Shuttle Tiger's Claw, we desperately need to dock for sanctuary, we are a neutral shuttle from the Maverick Munitions Corporation, please somebody, ANYBODY, respond!"

(How quaint.)
"To shuttle."
(The channel opened.)
"This is <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Gue's Legacy<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, if you can make our position, our fighter bay is empty."
