Y'know...

Ninja-Gankers'll camp a lowbie with their ??.

Ninja-Looters'll make off with the blue BOP drop a dozen levels crap and VT 'em.

Ninja-Spammers'll taunt and abuse until ignored.

Ninja-Bots'll come and go like unicorns.

Gotcha, haven't really had to worry about anything like that in quite some time. Haven't really had any lowbies in a while, and when I was playing on lowbies I'd just bring in my mains if someone thought they could gank me.

And as far as loot goes it's been a really long time since I've had anything ninja'd. I usually run with a group of friends that I've known for a while so that's not usually a problem. But I know that they are out there.

no, I mean, in the game I play people use hacks to gather monsters in one spot, suck up items on the ground, fly around the screen, get into people's inventory and shops to take items and basically make it a pain in the ass for people who play without hacks...

And all of this is happening on Maplestory?

Hey, if your willing to dish out 15$ a month, and about 7 GB of your hard drive space, go for WoW. Personally the only problem I ever had was someone trying to get me banned because I kept accidentally screwing up something they were doing.

yeah, but you most often see people using the vac hack to gather monsters then botting to keep attacking so they get continuos exp

they just started a huge crack down though, they FINALLY got in a system that checks for the hacks on each map on each server and sends in a note to the GM's about it. They go through it and ban from there.

The problem with it is they make no distinction for someone who is actually doing the hacks and someone who just walked through the screen and thought they were picking up abandoned items or people who walk through and have to kill the gathered monsters to make it across the map... they consider that looting the hacker and ban you as well...

Personally, it's rarely a problem for me and I've never run across the more invasive hacks, like shop hack or someone taking your items. But there was one mister suave who thought he was soooooo sneaky about trying to get my account information.
