Ravnos and I are playing Rising Sun on GameCube. We got past Pistol Pete and a few other easy ones after that, and now were stuck in the middle of the forest with 2 trees blocking our path, 1 on each side of the bridge where we had to meet up on after a crash seperated us.

Forgot the name of that mission, but its on the 2nd disc.

That'd be the bridge over the River Kwai mission, which I started today on the coop level.

Decided not to play it however.

Pity there weren't many missions like the pistol pete one . ..

The grassy hill parts were really remeniscant of the movie the Thin Red Line, which were stunning.

Damn it I still can't get past Fall of the Philipines. I still can't find this place I'm supposed to go and I got killed by the tank again.

Ren: Yeah, it be River Kwai...hopefully, well tackle it again tomorrow...thinking of getting the PS2 version so we can play online...

Kamon: You spaz...we got WAY past that...ur supposed to go IN the tank and get out where it stops, and go over a ramp on the right side, facing the back of the tank...

That, Jade as I discovered today only happens on the coop version.

On the single player version you go to the little saloon looking building to the right of the roadblock, and doors explode, letting you inside to continue on.

Then I got stuck again after you emerge from the baseball field.

*cries*

You should trade in all of your games, your system, plus your car maybe, and buy a good gaming computer and the entire Battlefield 1942 series. It is a lot more open than MOA, and is a lot more fun, IMO, knowing this as I do, since I have played several MOA games. BF is a real battlefield. All the fuss about one tank? Go to an Instant Battle like Wake Island, as the Americans, wait until the Japanese land and take over a control point, then take over one of thier tanks.

I'm getting really good at this game. One of my recent Instant Battles, on the Kursk map playing as the Axis, I scored 80 Soviets Killed, plus ten tanks, 12 support vehicles, and 3 aircraft destroyed.

There's no ramp on the one player, that was my mistake.

When you follow the tank all the way around, and it comes to a dead stop, turn right around, and go right around the little huts that are there (the ones with the drains on the ground) and you'll see a roadblock (blocked by rubble). To the left of that should be a brown building with a small deck canopy thingy, as you approach, the doors should -hopefully- blow open, and you can continue on through the level.
