Uh... actually, Snack, Boba's first ship (the one in EP V and EP VI) is the Slave I. The one he starts flying in the EU books is the Slave II. But, of course, according to Fatty McPigass and his merry men, EU is all just bull, so there IS no Slave II.

Damn Gash your hatred for GL is pretty impressive. But anyways... Hyferooni is right, when I say Steve Sansweet at the San Diego Comic Con he said EU does not effect what happens in the movies. Can you blame them for that? It's Lucas' movie, Lucas has had the whole story arc for SW planned in his mind for the past 30 years, and without letting everyone who writes every damn book, game or comic book know that it's nearly impossible to be completely copasetic which we've all come to know by now that it's NOT. There are so many people that have a small part in the EU that it's bound to get F'd up now and again. But by realizing the main thing, that SW is FANTASY the continuuity doesn't matter anyway as long as it's enough to get the gist of what's going on.

And about the Jaster Mereel thing, why should GL go by that? In his mind he's had a vision of what Boba Fett is, he knows where he comes from, he knows who he is, why would he let some knucklehead with a license to write a halfbaked book screw all that up?

And if you read the new Jango Fett comic book series it looks like someone else put a spin on who Jaster Mereel really is.

@#%$ yourself, Gash. Macullum is a bad ass. George Lucas is the one that ignores the EU, not Mcallum. He's the @#%$ producer. He just TOLD us George doesn't use the EU at all in his writing.

And yes, the Slave I is what is flown by both Jango and Boba. God damn I hate it when people try to state facts when they don't know what the hell they are talking about.

And no, Jango is not Jaster of Concord Dawn (or whatever the hell) either. He was adopted by a Mandalorian when he was young. He inherited his shite from his daddy. Boba inherrits his shite from HIS daddy, Jango.

Hyfe you should read the new comic series it actually looks like the dude that "adopts" Jango is Jaster Mereel, so that's probably where Fett gets the name and later uses it as an alias

*Looks at pants.*

"@#%$ yourself, Gash."

Do you REALLY want me to comply with your order, Hyfe?

That would be cool, Zell, but would not contradict anything I said above.

I think the whole Jaster Mereel thing is pretty cool. I read about what happened to Fett and all in the "Tales from the Bounty Hunters" book. But that is nilch to Lucas and how it <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> actually<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> went.

And go for it, Gash.

From reading the Jango series it looks like the guy that adopted Jango is actually Jaster Mereel. At least according to the comic book which of course is yet another EU source.
