Wrath of the Gods Righteous Fury OOC

I would note that you leave out Kyric in this thread who is also not involved and also posted in IHOG: OOC another thread that he is not involved in and you just let it slip without so much as a word or a warning.

This smells like selectivity to me lup.

And highlighting this fact was actually my purpose for posting in the first place as such, later.

Good for you, have a freakin medal. Funny thing is i didn't even notice he posted. Hence his reason for not being included. Its interesting how you seem to assume mistakes as part of a grand plan to get you. Get over yourself.

Interestingly, the selectivity was only in statement, since i issued no warnings for the continued violations, hence my 'selectivity' has no consequinces. Although one thing you did manage to point out is how much of a @#%$ you are.

Perhaps i should extend your ban to cover your IP then, since the normal method seems to have had no impact on your impudence?

Maybe he didn't include me because I wasn't being obnoxiously stupid?

I see no need for compromise. The GC already had twice the alloted time to reply and failed to do so.

The fault lies entirely with them.

A staff ruling, right now:

I am not an admin. But I have several friends who are admins and they will back me up I am sure. If they do not I will on the spot resign my position as moderator because it is not worth the trouble.

This is @#%$ outrageous.

Just totally @#%$ ludacris.

Lupercus and Vonta are arguing over who should be posting in this thread. What a @#%$ joke.

You two are arguing because the other one is around. NEITHER ONE OF YOU SHOULD BE IN THIS THREAD. Moderator or not Lup, you are acting like an @#%$ for no apparent reason. It will stop.

Theren, you are just being a @#%$ troll. I might respect you more than anyone else online, but you are not helping this thread at all. You are a gigantic disruptive influence, and, right now, the equivalent were this thread a penis to genital herpes. You get off my internet, now.

One person posted in the thread in question, and that is Admiral Drayson. Because of his direct claim in the matter, Jan may also post here.

The rest of you will not post. If you make one more post in here, for any reason with any contents, I will immediatly seek out an administrator and ask that you be banned. I don't care if your Organa Solo herself, I have no @#%$ tolerance for you all acting like children.

The rest of you aren't Bhindi Drayson or Jan Dodanna, grow the @#%$ up, go outside, and pull the stick out of your ass before you return to the computers.

*shakes his head in utter incredulation*

ok guys.

Lup was correct in stating that only participating members of Battlegrounds thread can post here. If he didn't mention Zen, he was remiss. Kal Shora is backing this ruling and I am backing him.

Now, typically the staff are able to enter problem threads and are not usually bound by the "battleground members only thread" rule unless..

..unless, the staff member's posting inflates the problem.

I would ask staff members to please refrain from this and stick with the issues that these OOC threads are designed to resolve.

I believe that was the point of Kal's post.

So cool it with the snide remarks and the "yelling"... (both members and staff [yes, even we are pushed too far and yes even we let loose when we shouldn't]).

A compromise would be fine with me. That was sort of what I ended up trying to get when I stated he wouldn't be able to destroy the shield generators and get past the minefield in one post. And yes Drayson I saw your arguments to those points.

Oh, and your latest post is void, since there were still arguments going on about your last post.

No, Jan. It's not.

You're arguments consisted of "You can't do that!" I responded with the reasons as to why it was possible, which you did not contest.

I am sick and tired of you guys trying to escape from battles by yelling "You can't do that!" at a force attacking a planet you haven't bothered to defend.

Legally, since you offered no response, I could have posted the mines sitting there and doing nothing while I blasted them apart.

You were given four days to form a response to the thread, and failed to do so. Again, that is entirely your fault.

I suggest you post before your 72 hours runs out again.

There's no rule saying you can do that. It would be quite cheap to do so too. Logically, mines need no signal to begin firing. They're fire and forget weapons, you lay them and leave. They would automatically fire upon anything within proximity that doesn't have the correct IFF codes - you.

If the enemy doesn't respond within the allotted time, it's not like someone handed their heads to you on a silver platter. You would continue the RP along its logical path. Logically, if you began firing upon mines, or began clearing mines, someone on the planet will hail you. Logically, if you respond with a middle finger, they'll raise the shield, signal for help, mobilize planetary defenses, etc etc.

That's what would happen. With no response within 72 hours, you are required to move the timeline along its natural and realistic state. Since the enemy didn't respond you have more flexibility, but you don't suddenly become the uber duper winner.

Sheesh. Be a little realistic here.
