Yep, its me again for those who know me. I've been drawn back again and just thought I'd see what is going on. Real life has been pulling me away quite a bit but I've missed posting and writing here.

So, anybody need a former evil mastermind? I've kinda given up on resurrecting the Union due to lack of members and activity, etc. I'd like a purpose to work towards again.

And wow, just read the fate of the Machina... I don't know if I could even recover that creation now...

I've still got schemes of various and sundry sorts on multiple fronts if you want to chat about possibilities at some point.

Also, I think that business with the Machina was actually aimed at me. A clerical error resulted in them being listed as members of the Cooperative, and at the time I was pestering Omnae about a planet I had misplaced.

Oops.

Angry Smarts strikes again!

But yeah, welcome back man. We've been on the nervous precipice of actually being active again, so the more the merrier I say.

Not members of the Cooperative so much as members of the Coalition. Remember, the Empire was losing planets faster than Smarts could process their downfall so the love had to be spread around. Needed to add to the general disarray of things and out of everything, the Machina move had the advantage of coming out from left field.

The Vahaba Asteroid belt thing was aimed at Smarts for the pestering. So, in a way, he is responsible for the creation of Corise's clone.

BTW, Estro, I did not know you were responsible for the Machina. I don't keep up with all the screen names and I don't spend time matching IP addresses like Beff. It was interesting reading.

Can't you just let me pretend I know what's going on every now and then, Omnae?

These are not the droids we are looking for. Move along, move along.

Indeed, I've always been amused by the idea of a more peaceful mechanical civilization. So I put that together and thought it would be fun to write.

Admittedly I can't blame you for not knowing. Its not like I exactly broadcast which various accounts are mine save for the more active ones like this and Trachta. Blame it on my secretive nature.

Still as I've said I'm kind of curious to see where I could jump into things now. Basically wanting to see what factions might want another member since I honestly lack a sense of direction at this moment.

Welcome back Estro, oh shady ex-union type. ;)

Things have been relatively active I'd say of late.

As for which groups to join, well... before you do that....

I don't know if you have read 'Cataclysm' yet, if not, I'd suggest you do, that will bring you up to date on the current status of the galaxy.

if you'd like a more abridged version of the current state, this thread is a must:

http://therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21361

Right now there are two major threads beginning as far as this galaxy's concerned.

1) Duality
2) The Cree'Ar War: Overture

Right now as I see it, the newly formed Republic is actually not doing bad for members, but of course we will always welcome new additions, all slots are open, we need Senators, pilots, Captains, Generals etc...

The Jedi have actually got a lot going on for them too at the moment, a few active peeps there.

Bottom line is the lightside are about to go to war with the Cree'Ar, so any help in that regard would be welcomed.

The Empire is a little quiet for members, oddly enough, Kraken and Kach I think are the two key active members for TNO, atm.

The NGC, seems a little quiet, with from what I can see Smarts and Jan being the only real active members, that said Smarts is quite active atm....maybe you can help out there?

Bounty Hunters seem fairly quiet but are ticking along, talk to Beff about this...

If you want to go darkside, well the Sith seem pretty low on numbers right about now, maybe Vance could do with a hand.

Or..

You could join the Cree'Ar and destroy the entire galaxy... (talk to Ahnk about that one, heh)

:D
