As long as you indicate that there is ample reason to hide your true identity, Klaximo... I doubt that anyone would be willing to join you, much less follow you.

I should have added, and now will qualify; this issue needs not be continued lest it verge on inflammatory.

Actually, the reason I tried to hide my identity was along the lines of A) people probably wouldn't take me seriously considering how much I goof off, and B) the last time I proposed to create a lightside faction, people either didn't trust me or laughed me off as being a diehard Imperial.

Which isn't true. Espically now compared to when I first joined TRF.

I couldn't think of anyone with more time or energy to devote to a new group than yourself kraker.

Perhaps there is no need for a 'rebel' group. You're a creative guy, and if you want to get into punch ons with other groups there are cooler things to come up with.

And i've tried the merc thing, its a short path IMO. And the rebellion has been done to death. Granted, that was based upon inexperienced people doing it, but the Canon rebellion type dealy is kinda boring unless done well.

Perhaps a government of rebels children and survivors who failed in the rebellion, realised the futility of taking on the empire and turned inward. They built themselves into an expansionist situation (whether democratic or despotic) and whatever happens happens.

Starting a rebellion style group kinda locks you into a specific ideals set, so something else is a better idea i reckon...

I have a few other ideas brewing as well.

Actually, I just realized the Union is pretty much like one of my ideas, i.e., an elite group of CEOs or something along the lines with plans to take over the galaxy, minus the criminal organizations.

Well, if Kraker's leading it, I'm in. I've wanted to get a lightside character in action for a while, but the Coalition didn't seem to be a viable option. At least not for me.

Well, flesh some of those ideas out and whack 'em down here. We might be able to add something cool to help you out.

So much so that we might even create a char to join in!

Wilkar
It's Max. I recognize the diction and structure.

I just want to remind everyone that the last time this happened, when everyone assumed identities based on style, I was framed for him as well. *ahem* Just wanted to point that out...
