My turn! Not that anyone cares, of course, but eh. *shrugs*

I remember when I first came here, when I sucked at RPing (and I admit I'm still not that good so your bashing doesn't phase me), that TRF was a place for change and for growth. Boy, that sure didn't last long. I look at the way things have progressed and I am truly disturbed.

TRF has turned into a powergrabbing unit as far as things go. People are so interested in owning a massive chunk of a make-believe galaxy that they'll do anything to get it. That anything means driving people away, yelling at them, calling them names, and everything in between. Truly, you call yourselves adults? I find that funny.

I decided I wanted to come back to this forum early after taking a one month hiatus and decided to ask Ahnk what his plans were for the Rogue Jedi Order. A simple question. And his response? He lambasted me with names, cursed at me, and told me that TRF would suffer because of my return. Last I checked, my being here didn't drive people away or for that matter have an influence in bringing people in, that falls on the entire board.

And you wonder why no one seems to come in and stay except for every once in a while. You're so determined as a whole to say that unless you're the god of writing we don't want you here. This is supposed to be a community in which people actually take the time to help others become better writers. And yes, I know there are some people that won't allow themselves to be fixed.

To another task. I applied through certain channels to see if I could be promoted to Master after having been here for at least five years, probably more, and having been a Knight for two-thirds of that time. Word has reached my ears that I will not be approved, mainly because the staff doesn't like my writing style. Wow. Since when does writing style determine what I can and cannot do? And who made you the judge of my writing, OS? Yes, I'm pointing fingers. I know who you are.

People like OS and Ahnk are the reason that people don't stick around long enough to make an impact and why half the threads in the battlegrounds are done by four or five people and their alternates. So anyways, I'm taking off, for good. We have our own plans.

Beff, Omnae, Wilkar, Seth, Titus, you guys are still cool in my book. Don't stay total strangers. And yes, Beff, we've had our differences, but I can see past that and not be bothered.

Anyways, peace everyone.

Ma me mah may, mah me mah mo!

Just wondering about Ishara's banning comment...

Who have we banned in the last 6 months? Xilen.

Who have we banned in the last 6 years? Xilen, Chadd, Xilen, Chadd, Xilen & Xilen. And probably Ceel due to some random pettiness we have since grown out of.

Who amongst us would stand up for any of these people (except Ceel now perhaps, but we were younger then) and say they didn't deserve it? Everyone who had gone in that sense had been entirely culpable in their own demise, and as evidenced by their returns has been given every opportunity to change their ways. In fact i think the problem has been an exceeding willingness to forgive (if not forget) and give them that chance, which has continuely been thrown back in our faces.

All your claims seem so high and mighty for the mudslingers and degenerates down here, i'm not entirely sure we can understand someone of such pure and innocent motives. And considering i'm sure alot of your rant is aimed at me, one of the people you have tried to screw the most, there is only one thing i can add;

Xilen, go play a game of hide and go fuck yourself.

Yeah i think he felt obliged to say it in someone else's thread because that way it would get noticed, because if he posted it noone would notice otherwise.

Poor Kamon, a victim of circumstance.

Lack of RP's? I did a gazillion of them back in the day. Perhaps If I had been allowed to retain my rank back when I was made a Master this wouldn't have happened, eh? You say you're sorry, but only because you want to save face. Don't lie, I know it's true.

As for "experienced" members of the esteemed jedi council. My personal opinion, why should being made a Master rely on OOC beauracracy? Tell me that. What reason do you have to say that I can't be a Master? My threads? Hard to really do anything when you're in hiding and if you hadn't noticed Kamon WAS starting to teach his daughter. And back in the day I did a shit ton of Force developing threads.

The "lack" of force development is a poor excuse. His fighting skills and knowledge of the Force are as good as it gets for a Knight's level. Plus, there's the added fact of there being a lack of people to train with other than his daughter. He's one of the few Rogue's left, not part of the Jedi Order.

Oh, and don't lie about the writing style crap. I KNOW that you wrote it in the thread. I also know that you don't seem to like that I write my character the way I want. Relationships are important to Kamon and I don't just mean relationships with females. I mean relationships with his daughter, his old friends, his people. That in itself is cause for what I say about my writing style. You can't tell me that I can't be a Master because of the fact that Kamon has relationships with people.

As far as I see it, you all just pulled some fancy ass beaurocratic excuse from out of your ass. TRF's Force council is a beauracracy as far as it goes. Plain and simple.

Besides, what did you think I was going to do as a Master? Build a death star and conquer the galaxy? No, I had actually planned on doing things with the Rogue's since Ahnk decided he was going to be an ass and not let me in on anything. But oh well, I see how it is with you people. See you around. I'm going somewhere where I can be respected as a valued member of the community, not looked down upon because I'm not the god of writing.

All I came here for was the freedom to RP. As far as I see it, people like you, OS, are keeping me from the freedom I wanted. So, I'm out. I'm going to a new place where I AM a Master and TTR is around again.

Kamon, you have absolute freedom to start a petition to overturn the FC's ruling whenever your little heart desires. The results will be duly taken into consideration.

However the decision still won't change unless you can provide evidence of the Force development expected of Masters. What I may or may not think about your choice of RP content has no bearing on this issue, and I have never tried to make it one. The simple fact is that you claim to have all of these fighting skills and Force knowledge equivalents, and yet there's hardly anything written IC to show that you even know what that means. All we've done is assert that a certain rank (a mere title which is entirely indicative of the extensive IC development of the character over a long period of time) does not yet apply to you.

You can go RP as a rogue Jedi all you want, more power to you. Go assassinate our esteemed galactic Emporer Hyfe, go take a piss in Simon Kaine's morning coffee or whatever. The Force Council certainly isn't holding you back.

Leaving the board is fine, too... bye.

What's with all the Ahnk bashing?

Recently, one of my characters got involved in the Germanican Gray faction. Anyway, that whole idea fell through, and I posted to say as such and also to say that my character was unemployed. Your n00b-bashing Ahnk tracked me down on MSN, simply to make sure I wasn't leaving TRF permanently, and to make sure I wasn't disillusioned with the forums. Bearing in mind that I have no idea who he is or where he lives in real life, that was pretty nice.

I'd hardly say that this is the behaviour of someone who causes people to not stick around.

Summary: Ahnk is a dude. At least sometimes.

What's with it? Because that's what he told me on AIM when I asked him if he had any plans for the Rogue Jedi Order. I went to ask him because he's the only Master and instead I get called names, laughed at, and told I suck. That's why the bashing. Because he bashed me first.

OS I used to have tons of threads about Kamon training himself. Granted some of them were lost years ago, but some of them are probably still around. Kamon doesn't go around waving his lightsaber and saying "hey look at me, I'm a Jedi!" He's not going to be constantly using the Force.

And there's also the little matter of him being in hiding so the chances of him finding a spar are minimal. The chances of him doing anything major with the Force at all are minimal. And like I said, he was just getting ready to start training his daughter which meant he would have been back into training as well.

And your not letting RP content have a bearing on things is really funny when I know they did coming from you. Not going to tell you how I know because you don't need to know that. But I know. You shouldn't have told people that.

He did try to pull unreasonably overpowered stunts using the force though. Like moving an entire minefield in space to attack an offensive fleet over Tholatin.... Just an example.

Dude, that was like five years ago.
