I'll try to restore balance to the force at some point, Leia. I just have a need for Wanton destruction at the moment.

Greetings, welcome to TRF. You seem willing and able, however don't be misled into thinking you need join any group - if one at all.

While the Sith are organized, to a small degree, we also aim at giving Apprentices the chance to develop their own characters, without having to rely on the Masters to do so. Namely this is due to Masters, such as I, not having enough time between schooling to attend to every single training thread I might be wanted to take part in; while other Masters of the Sith are more or less gone for long periods of time, with brief returns in between.

My suggestion would be to either venture out on your own, get a handle on how you wish to go with your character, and to what life paths; then, once you've decided for certain that you'll become a member of a Force-faction, approach potential members to take part in RPs to help you attain that goal - contacting Wes, for example, who could find you on Coruscant, or any number of potential ideas to get you onto our hidden planet (Xa Fel).

I wouldn't rush your decision, play at your own pace, and understand that we're not a super-fast posting community - we can sometimes go up to a fortnight without a post in a thread, though we tend to write some amazing literature to compensate.

As I said, develop your character at your pace; we’ll be here for when you want to take that step into joining a group, but until then enjoy your ability to roam freely without needing to walk into opposition from an opposing faction.

Also, concerning Irtar’s original statement of TSO’s position: We are not under siege, per se, simply we are leading an enemy force into a false sense of security by appearing to as such…

after talking with Skygge at length and researching more and more, I've become increasingly interested in the Sith, actually and I feel it just may be the place for Calen to end up. Aside from that, I don't mind having patience when it comes to posts in threads, mainly because I'm used to that procedure with previous RPGs. After all, one can't expect a post to be delivered instantly, right?

In addition to that, the expansive lore alone appears to have a good deal of history and detail behind it, not to mention the possibilities of a later introduction to Sith Alchemy. Korriban Zombies is an interesting ability to look towards at a far later point, I think.

Regardless, I believe this path of Sithhood will be my choice, that is poending I have the blessing of its Higher Council.

I HIGHLY recommend you pick up the Dark Side Sourcebook if you intend to play a Sith character, or if you simply have an interest in learning about the Sith in general. It's an incredibly informative book with some great art as well. I found it wonderfully useful when I first began writing/roleplaying Star Wars years and years back. IMO if you play a Sith or dark side character and don't have this book you are cheating yourself of a vast amount of knowledge and writing ideas.

Same here. Wookiee, or my own head. Remember our IM discussion? Skygge's philosophy deviates from the norm.
