"Sir, they are returning our hail," reported a lieutenant at the ComScan station.

"Returning? It has been twenty minutes." he sighed, digressing. "Patch them through."

A full-size holo of an Imperial Admiral appeared on the bridge, just a few meters in front of the Commodore, who sat waiting in the command chair.

"This is Commodore Feyyar of the Imperial Navy, in charge of the Geonosis detachment. I commend you on your belated mastery of the communications system," he replied, holding a straight face.

The admiral grimaced slightly, glowering mentally at the viscount.

"Yes we do apologize for such, our captain is not the greatest at paying attention to details. Anyway we wish to speak in terms of Rogue Imperial and Imperial interests if you shall listen."

The Commodore nodded, glancing at his sensor screen.

"Very well," he replied. "The New Order would be very receptive to such talks. Shall we parley onboard your Carrack cruiser, the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Opulence<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->?"

<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> The dust pervaded his senses as the Jedi Master made his way back to the Arena where the last hopes of the Jedi Old Order died. He still remembered the battle that took place here, and elsewhere on the planet.

He had fought at both, and all he wished for was that the destruction could have been averted safely and without the massive loss of Jedi life.

He stepped through the gateway to the Arena, expecting it to be abandoned, but instead found a number of people. One whom he recognised instantly.

Jango Fett.

His apparant confusion passed when he realised that he had indeed died here and realised that the man who stood above him was a clone... Boba Fett.

He stood in the gateway, the feelings and spirits of his dead friends lingering on still, spectral tendons clinging to the walls and floors and everything that was near him and this assursed arena....

"No!" he wanted tos cream, he wanted to lash out and kill him, he wanted to strike him down with whatever weapon he could grab nearest him. But his mouth simply drooped open, dumbfounded. That violet bladed lightsaber had just caused Boba more pain than any physical blow ever could without even touching him.

It had all happened so fast. His father, Jango, had been trampled over by the great green and orange beast, and thus that bald, dark-skinned Jedi Master, whom Tyranous had called "Windu", continued to onslaught even though Jango was now nearly armless. When he finally got his hands on a blaster he did the only thing he could think of doing; fired. He fired for all he was worth in a desperate attempt to keep the Jedi Master back.

And still the hateful warrior persisted, merciless, unrelenting in his endeavor to murder Boba's father. When there was finally no chance for the long famed bounty hunter to keep him back he began lifting his hands in a desperate plea for mercy, but a Jedi would not have it. Master Windu swung his blade with all his might and severed the head from his father's shoulders, and Boba had to watch - and listen - as it thunked to the ground and began to roll off.

Master Windu, a Jedi who "upheld the virtues of truth and justice" had just brutally murdered his father for no better reason than because he was there. Boba unclenched fists he did not even realize he was clenching as a tear rode down his cheek.

"Boba it is imperative you come with me," a metallic, radio-like voice told him, and Boba knew immediately what it was, a Batlte Droid had come to haul him away so he would not see the grizzly battle. He did not care, he simply ignored him. "Boba Tyranous insists that you come with me for your safety."

Finally, reluctantly, he turned on his heels, stole one quick last look at the arena with the unending pile of Jedi and Battle Droid bodies, and left through the halls of the Geonosian grand hall along with Darth Tyranous.

<font color=green>Boba Fett threw a quick glance over the arena once more. He sat pastefully in the throne that Darth Tyranous, Count Dooku, had sat in along with the Geonosian lord so many years ago to watch the Jedi fight for their amusement against the armies of droids they had constructed. He remembered seeing Nute Gunray, the viceroy of the Trade Federation, to his right, hissing and complaining because Padme was surviving the battle with the creatures.

Boba, at the time, had found it amusing and nothing more. Now he looked back at it as if a great tragedy.

Something then caught his attention, movement among the arena and his enhanced senses immediately turned to face the disturbance of the silence. He was here to reminise and now one was here to disturb the peace that he sought ever so badly.

Narrowing his eyes through the T-shaped visor of his Mandalorian armor, he focused on the figure...a Jedi. No doubt about it by the robes he wore. The computer built into his armor interacted with that of the Slave I, which was parked some ways away, indicated he was a man known as "Angel". Interesting.

"Good day Mr. Fett. It's been a long time. I'm sorry to interrupt your solace here, I just wished to greet you once again," he heard behind him, along with the clicking of mandibles. So...it was a trap.

"I see you've captured me...I'm honored," he said almost sadly, but that could not be distinguish through the voice scrambler he was using.

When the signal blipped out he turned back to make way for the Carrack Cruiser.

What the hell is going on here Angel thought as from his position he watched the 3 other people and wondered if there were going to be anymore. Dammit!!! Fett had seen him. He bet he knew he he was. He saw another person approching Fett who he did not recognise. And then there was one other who he couldn't quite make out...NO!!! Jedi Master Ki Adi Mundi. No longer with an order, what was he doing here on Genosis?

ooc:Ki Adi Mundi surely would be dead. Darth Vader hunts down all the remaining Jedi except for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda.

OOC: I agree he'd probably be dead, but not neccesarily from the Jedi Purge. The Expanded Universe has shown many examples of jedi that escaped the purge, though I'm pretty sure Palpatine would have made sure all the members of the Council were taken out. *shrugs* Oh well though, Ki already cleared it with Hex and company.

IC: From his position on the balcony, the Gand blinked as Fett accused him of organizing a trap and the Jedi farther down reacted to the Bounty Hunter's attention. The Jedi was of little consequence right now however, the important thing was Fett's reaction. Looking down on the man who had caught Han Solo, Jander stood in a passve manner, even though men like he and Fett knew there was no true defenseless posture.

"Now Mr. Fett, you know me much better than that, to think I'd try something against you."

The first two times Fett and Sunstar had met, on Cloud City and in Jabba's Palace, the Bounty Hunter was clearly the superior. While not unskilled at the time, the Gand and his companions knew enough of Boba Fett to give him a wide berth and do what he said if he asked it. Since then though, he'd learned and trained much more. His respect for the bounty hunter however, had not diminished in the least. He knew well enough he just might not leave here had it done so.

"Why would I try something like that, particularly partnering with Jedi? At best I have a grudging respect for them, with few exceptions. On top of that, we have no outstanding grudges, I have no reason to attack you. I'm simply here on a historical trip."

Jander approached the railing and placed his left hand on it as he spoke. "You see, I like you have had quite a past. It's quite common for men our age and exploits to want to return to important places in thier life. That's why you've come back here is it not? I'm doing something similar. I'm here today exploring galactic events during my youth. I was young when this battle occured, the beginning of the Clone Wars. In fact, I'd only been of Gand once or twice. This however was one of few news stories to reach my home during that period, and thus worthy of study. That Mr. Fett, is why I'm here. Your presence is as much a surprise to me as mine must be to you."

While he spoke, Sunstar was utilizing his wide range of vision to keep his eyes on all present. Both of the Jedi seemed to be still, almost ignoring the concersation between himself and Fett. From above however, he could see action. Several transports, Imperial make to Jander's trained eye, were dropping down.

"Interesting," he thought outloud,"It appears we have some more company."

Looking to Fett, Sunstar raised his right hand slowly and pointed the middle of his three fingers skyward.

"Commander, prepare my shuttle for departure," ordered Commodore Feyyar as he stepped from his command chair and started towards the turbolift.

"But sir," called a Lieutenant from the operations console. "You haven't given the recall order to our ground forces."

Feyyar stopped in his tracks, and turned to glare at the Lieutenant. "No, son, I haven't, and I don't intend to. Our forces will continue as planned, irregardless of whether it causes these rebels to lose proper control of their bladders."

Any chuckles the bridge crew might have had were quickly extinguished as the turbolift door slid shut with a <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> woosh<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.

TIE Interceptors patrolled about the shuttle, performing their long, circuitous routes until the craft slowed to a halt, thrusters propelling it upwords until docking clamps engaged, and then the shuttle just seemed to protrude from the bottom of the cruiser.

"Permission to come aboard," Commodore Feyyar said through the shuttle's intercom as he ascended the ladder that would take him through the docking tube, and onto the cruiser <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Opulence<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.
