Leia shrugged, looked up at the gargantuan structure.
"I really don't know.... it's just a place of peace, respect"
She shrugged and set off, this time alongside Amalia, who apparently had decided to keep pace again.
Leia was acutely aware that she was very unsure now even of where Amalia lived nowadays. She knew Amalia spent both day and night in the Academy quite often, but as many of the Jedi did(even when they didn't live there), she just didn't know.
She gave herself a mental boot in the rear. Well, they were basically starting from the beginning on many accounts anyways. This little one could be added on the side.
She looked sidelong at Amalia with a grin.
"Lead the way M'Lady, I know not where you dwell"

She laughed and then smirked slightly.
"Near the Academy, the Jedi living quarters. Not my real home, but it suits me well. My home away from home, I guess you could say..."
Her left eyebrow rose as she looked at Leia.
"What about you? Do you even have a home? I've never seen it. I bet you don't even spend much time in your own home, do you?"
Amalia glanced over Leia's shoulder for a moment, noticing a large waterfall near by, Amalia grinned wickedly as her glance moved from the waterfall and back onto Leia.
Nah...I couldn't...
She silently thought to herself, continuing to walk along side Leia as they began to make their way toward the Academy.

Leia shrugged.
"I guess I spend most of my sleeping time in my offices, actually. But I have quarters in the Temple. Also spend just as much time on Corellia, so I have quarters there. I guess I just don't have a constant home"
She noticed Amalia was looking rather... dangerously at the waterfall Leia had been looking at through the window, and decided to make a conclusion.
"You wouldn't."
Amalia remained silent, she must have made up her mind peacefully. Or mercifully.
They finally reached the Academy and Leia took up more of a following position as Amalia lead the way to her quarters, walked in, and began shuffling about.
Leia's entrance was much slower. With slow, deliberate steps she stepped over the threshhold, and was even slower coming into the main room. Amalia still had the same quarters she had been assigned back when the Temple has just finished construction, and so everything was homely placed. But Leia could tell it hadn't been lived in for a while, as Amalia had been gone, for on the more remote shelves, objects, and tables, there was still a layer of dust, where Amalia hadn't brushed it away yet.
"Been a while" She said simply.

Amalia paused at gathering her things for the moment, just now noticing the dust and other dirt particles that had gathered here and there from lack of inactivity.
Amalia frowned a little, disappointed that she hadn't really had the time to clean up.
"Yeah, guess I just haven't really had that much time to clean up yet. I'll get back to cleaning, eventually."
Amalia seemed to find discovery and truth in her own words. There were a lot of things Amalia was still trying to clean up, including her own life. While she had been away, she took note of the things she needed to change, not for anyone else really, but for herself. Now that she was back, she was determined to do just that, slowly though, taking one step at a time.
..Have a lot of things to clean up.. She thought silently to herself, not made so that Leia could read her thoughts.
She smiled softly for a second, and then went back to her quiet, reserved, usual self as she continued to pack her things.
five more minutes or so seemed to pass before Amalia had all her things ready to go and packed.
"Well, that's everything...Suppose we should get going now..."
She took her pack and made her way towards the door. Stopping there, she turned toward Leia.
"Now it is your turn to lead the way again..."

Leia made a showy bow.
"Yes Ma'am"
She ducked out the door, which Amalia closed and locked, and they were on their way...
Not surprisingly there was a transport waiting for Leia in front of the Academy, which she hopped into, and Amalia followed.
In short order it settled down on a landing pad with a much bigger pad next to it, and a much bigger ship, which was being attended to with final preparations for it's departure.
"So quiet" Leia noted.
"Good."
They stepped aboard and took seats for the short hop up to the interplanetary runner. Leia stretched out in her seat.
"There now. We're stopped. 45 minutes till docking time, though it only takes 20 to get to the ship, so I don't know why it'll take so long... oh, whatever."
On impulse, Leia suddenly decided to ask the golden question...
"What made you come back? No, I know all about Kahn finding you, and you knowing about the Jedi problems and such. But what really, really made you come back?"

Amalia bit on her left cheek just slightly, Leia's question had caught her off guard slightly, and she really had to think about the question before coming up with an answer. She knew exactly why she had come back, and it wasn't just because of the troubles that were involved with the order at the time. She smiled mysteriously as she looked at Leia.
"Well, I suppose it will have to remain a mystery of sorts..."
She shrugged.
Amalia didn't think that it was really important to say her true intentions for coming back. She was back and that was all that really mattered.

Leia's face contorted into an expression of thoughtful but silent curiosity for a while. For in the deeper guarded depths of her mind where Amalia could not go.
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Mysterious... I suspect a longer story is at hand<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
Nevertheless, the rest of her was quiet and serene. The shuttle began to hum softly and vibrate as the repulsorlifts spooled up, and Leia finally stirred again.
"Have you even ever been to Corellia before, Amalia?"
She simultaneously was handed a datacard with a classified mark on it by a passing aide. She glanced around a moment for her datapad before he also handed her that as well, then moved off to take a seat further down the shuttle, to give the two some small degree of privacy.
Amalia hadn't answered yet, so Leia idly slid the datacard into the reader and began to scroll through the data, though she was not really paying attention to it. Her attention was still mainly on Amalia. Somewhere within she also wondered what Amalia would do now that Leia's gaze was flicking back and forth between the datapad and Amalia.

Amalia did not answer Leia for quite some time, she was too busy observing Leia, making her own silent observations about her, not allowing Leia to read her.
Only half way there...but what is that supposed to matter to me...I'll certainly manage though, I don't have a choice...
She was silent for a very long time, wondering if Leia even noticed her silence. Finally she replied, her answer was just simple, by the looks of things, in Amalia's observation, Leia didn't have time for anything else.
"Yes."
Amalia suddenly reached over with a quick swipe of her left hand and grabbed the datapad away from Leia's hands, placing it into her own two hands.
"This must have some rather interesting information on it. I certainly wish I were that interesting..."

The degree of Amalia's testiness surprised even Leia, who had been fishing for just that reaction.
"Relax, I don't even know what's on it yet, I was paying attention to you, in full. If you want to accuse me of stirring up trouble, I gladly plead guilty as charged, because I was fishing for reactions"
Leia extended a hand, and the datapad pulled itself from Amalia's grip and floated gently back to Leia. She shut it off and set it aside, finally placing her full physical attention on Amalia.
"Now probably much to your relief, enough of the mind games on my part, I know what I need to for that part now. Why are you so testy?"

It seemed Leia was just full of surprises. Again Amalia went back to observing Leia quietly, watching as Leia "played" with the force.
Now I know..that if I were to do such a thing, she would catch me on it. I can just hear the speech...whatever.
Amalia kept silent about this particular observation, she knew Leia would just tell her she was being even more testy.
"I'm not being testy. If you didn't have..."
She didn't bother to finish, she saw no point in finishing. Instead she sat back in her chair and purposefully avoided Leia's gaze.
