In the darkness of the galaxy few men have the chance to lose themselves. Although the galaxy is exponentially larger then any mind can fathom A person can be found if the seeker looks well enough. For a person to be free from his or her past is impossible in this age. To attempt such a feat has been the downfall of many people. For the smart ones managing to stay alive and ahead of your past is a day to day battle. For the very few people in the galaxy truly gifted in the are of running from themselves The life becomes a game. They look to their past as practice for the future. They do not need to run from what they were. They embrace it, and in the process they become truly invisible to the galaxy around them. One such person was Raymond Mosses.

Too many years had past since he last visited his old friend Rob. If friends is what you would call them. They had been more like advisories then friends. Ray had fallowed the success of his old friend and watched as the once awkward young man became one of the richest businessmen in the galaxy. It was only logical for the one person to track him down would be Rob Stellar. His money and power had to bring with it innumerable connections in the darkest of places in the galaxy. These places were just where Ray had been hiding for the past ten years. These are the places he liked. He was safe there. Safe from himself, safe from the galaxy around him. He had watched the empire envelope the galaxy. He sat by as did many others as the forces of darkness and corruption and servitude spread like a plague through out the known regions. Now here he sat on this strange vessel headed for Denon to meet with the one man he thought he would never see again. the one person he knew would remember him and his past.

The ship shook slightly as the star lines outside the view port reverted to small tiny points of light.A voice came over the entercom informing the passengers they would be landing momentarily. He drank down the last his drink and closed his eyes. The past was something he was not afraid of. He just preferred to keep his prior activities to himself. Ray now had to face part of this past eye to eye. The ship began the rapid decent into the atmosphere of the planet. as the transperasteel cleared and the clouds broke open the massive planet wide landscape of Denon lay below. Ray had been here many time. Like Coruscant Denon was a planet wide city. Billions of lives filled this ball of rock each day. He himself had hidden here for three years. It was easy for most to hide on a planet like this. at least till they were found.

The decent of the ship slowed and Ray looked out the view port at the landing pad growing closer. Behind him the few passengers of the ship sat quietly. All were members of Stellar's empire. They had been there to watch him he knew. Some were annalists, others were military types in disguise. You can not hid the build of a soilder to someone who has been in as many fights as Ray had. He knew a warrior when he seen them. just like he knew a corporate type. and those were in the mix of passengers also. He waited till the intercom said they were free to stand and leave the transport. He waited for a moment as a few of the others stood. He watched the three men at the far left. they were there to make sure he behaved himself. He laughed a bit then stood. After all this time Rob must be slipping sending three muscle bound stooges like that to watch him. Ray grabbed his bag and walked to the hatch. He walked out into the brightly lit landing pad and out onto the tarmac. Across the pad stood the man who had summoned him flanked by two slender men. Yes those were the real muscle. He had the best as his guard. as expected. The man on the right looked familiar but Ray knew he wasn't someone who he had meet before. Maybe a son or a brother. Geez he hoped he would have to fight off some vengeance filled idiot today. He had drank way too much on the flight and that would just make him down right inhospitable towards his old friend.

"Now tell me why you have drug me out here to this duracrete covered trash ball?" Ray walked over the men and extended his hand to Rob.

Twenty Minutes Ago: Office of Rob Stellar

The face staring back at him was not his own. It looked so different now, having changed slowly over a period of only a few months. They had been difficult ones indeed. The galaxy had changed so drastically that he could feel it inside himself. There were so many things he wanted to do, but could not. His position and commitment to his company would not allow him the luxury to follow his heart and mind fully.

Rob knew that people could see him changing slowly. He knew they were starting to comment on the way he looked and at his slowly growing temper. He allowed the stress radiate out of himself so that everyone could observe and in turn formulate rumors. These did not take long to spread throughout the higher ups of the company. Some of this closest friends and colleagues within the company had even started to suggest he take some time off.

Reaching up slowly, Rob let his fingertips graze over his sunken face, filled with wrinkles and large bags over his eyes. As he stared, not blinking, he admired his reddened eyes, caused by night after night without much sleep. He had been up for over 39 hours already, he contemplated victoriously.

For the first time in many many years, he was a little disheveled, having not shaved in three days. His hair was also not cut or trimmed, like always. As he studied his face in the mirror, Rob could barely recognize himself. With his pale skin, Rob looked like some of the refugees that he had seen coming out of war zones or some nature disaster.

With a slow, deep breath, Rob Stellar reached over and lifted up the suit jacket that lay on the bathroom counter to this right. He slowly slipped it on and thought that hopefully this was the last formal meeting he would be attending...at least for a while.

Hanger Bay 22C

Rob watched as the shuttle landed and Ray descended down its ramp. He had not seen this man in a very long time and had only recently started keeping tabs on him. It had taken many resources to find Raymond Mosses, but they had finally come through. What was amazing, however, was that the man had not resisted coming here, at least not too much.

Rob had expected to drag his down to Denon kicking and cursing the whole way. Their history was filled with rocky roads and many arguments, as well as some regrettable moments. Not the least of which was Rob stealing Ray's then girlfriend and marrying her. It was the sort of thing that no one could help. Something that simply just happens. Hopefully, after all these years, Raymond would have forgiven him.

Even after all of their fights and hardships, Rob still trusted the man enough to bring him over for this proposition.

Rob almost smiled at Ray's comment as he slowly reach out and shook the other man's hand. Looking Raymond in the eyes, Rob could see the man had drunk his share of alcohol on the flight over.

"Good to see you as well." Rob stated. "I hope you left at least a few drops of liquor in the on board bar."

Ray shook Robs hand and looked him over. This was far from the man Ray remembered. He was disheveled and almost burly in his non shaven form. It reminded him of.. well himself. He fought a smile as Rob ask him about the alcohol then released the handshake.

"Well if I have left any see to it that it is brought to my room after we talk. I will finish it off then."

"Oh I have no doubt about that my old friend." Rob smiled just a little before nodding towards one of the assistants, who relayed orders to have the alcohol taken to Raymond's new quarters.

He then turned slowly and motioned towards the exit. "Come, we have much to discuss, I have the conference room ready for us."
