Leia sidestepped out from behind her desk and somehow knelt beside the stirring Xylon despite the multiple layers of stiff and heavy ceremonial robes that she had neglected to change out of after a morning's outing of political functions.

"Xylon!"

She reached out and squeezed his shoulder. Though to the eye the gesture appeared nothing more than a mere vain attempt to comfort the unconscious, strength flowed from Leia into Xylon like a great river had been opened through the Force, and it jarred the man completely back into the present. She withdrew her grip slowly, and stood again.

"Rise now" She said, more likely commanded, the fallen figure. "We have work to do"

She seated herself behind her desk again and turned to Han.

"We must act immediately. Fleet arrangements must be made by Xylon, and I am sure he will carry them out adequately. But I have chosen to go along personally with the task force and and not take, but join with Coruscant in peace. I wish for you to arrange for security, I am not naive enough to think I can get away with walking on the surface and not have attempts taken on my life by those who will not yet understand that we are not present to fight"

Leia thought for a moment.

"No. No more Jedi than necessary."

She nodded to Han. "You can be the ceremonial Jedi present. The rest should all be normal everyday soldiers. I take it that Xarrin doesn't like Jedi all that much. We must heed that."

Face stricken with perplexity, a withered Xylon stumbled to his numb feet uneasily. He strained to keep his taut neck transfixed on the ground with hopes of evading prying glances, although to no avail the scrutiny seeped. In addition to encompassing a churned nausea, his mentality resonated elsewhere.

Elsewhere...but where?

Steadily, Hexyra's hands caressed the warm touch of Organa's cherry desk until fingers extended to a pleasant relief. Twisted vision dipped and swirled incessantly like blurred paints on a void pallet. Fortunately, his crux ran pure enough to catch basic resonance extracted from the far-off conversation.

”…”

Progressive footsteps, convoked to a solitary whistle, rang with a shimmering reverberation along a gilded corridor. He had left in silence.

Leia watched the hands carry the rest of her packed materials into the shuttle's cargo bay. Nearby stood Han and half of her security contingent, the other half going out with on a second shuttle with the last of the supplies also being shipped up to the assembled task force orbiting Corellia.

The cargomaster signaled the completion of his task and he and his men exited the landing platform area. The security detachment filed onto their assigned shuttles, but four soldiers remained behind, refusing to go up until Leia and Han had boarded the shuttle. They did promptly, for Leia saw a hurried looking politician coming her way, recognized him to be a threat of nonsense, trouble, and time delay, and quickly ascended up the shuttle ramp.A quick escape. The last soldiers boarded, and the shuttles ran through their takeoff checklists, obtained clearance, and then blasted off towards the waiting fleet overhead.

The ride was not a long one, and soon enough Leia was walking down the shuttle ramp to set foot on the hard cold tile in the docking bay of the Mon Cal Cruiser Home One, <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Posiedon<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->.

Xylon and a small group of officers were standing on the opposite of the bay, waiting. They approached Leia, and she simply stood by the shuttle and let them come to her. Xylon was in front, and when he stopped the officers behind him stopped a respectful distance away, in stiff attention. But it was not them that Leia's gaze settled on, it was Xylon. She nodded to him.

"Commander."

*Han wlaked towards OS, to tell her of their status. He walked up, as she greeted Hex.*

"Master Solo, Our crew and protection team are ready, and standing by for your commands."

"The vigor which continues to place you on the front line has yet to release my fascination in you, Miss Solo…Organa. Nonetheless, I am glad to see you: the solitary depression one bears up here is heartless…"

A soft sigh escaped Xylon’s maw whilst his desensitized toes began to murmur delicately in their burdening waders. Dwindling pauses as this prolonged the inevitable, or so he had deducted long ago. Worthless at their height, though still primitive nature to most. The quintessence of oblivion, he had once described it. Regardless, they made him wary; averting his focus from the present. And now he saw himself displaying the very impetus he so despised.

Disposition was identifiable, although interminable. If only barren secretion was possible --

With hopes of diminishing the chronological plague, Xylon glared apprehensively in the direction of Organa’s pampered entourage. Clad in fine Corellian robes of greens and blues, quick their earnings were judged to sustain more than their labored sweat. By demeanor he suspected it uncanny for Organa to accept this coddle, assuming tradition did not oblige it -- still even he reacted strangely to the change. Less than a decade back he had lacked the association with those whom clothed in gowns, much less had wore one himself. In spite of this, he now found his standard attire to consist only of them.

Ironical is the extent of change, when persuaded properly.

Having switched glances once again, soon he reestablished connection with Organa in the end of his reverie. A deep sorrow censored in his dark eyes, Xylon continued.

"If you would follow me to the bridge: Organa; Han."

"Leia" Leia corrected absently as Xylon referred to her as Organa and they set off for the bridge. She took faint notice of the fact that they were being not so silently tailed by two guards.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Damn security protocol. That means I won't even be able to use the 'fresher without the whole ship knowing.

Well, actually, since when was that new?
<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

Leia grinned with sudden humorous memories as they boarded a turbolift that would take them up to the bridge level. The wait was a short one, and soon the doors separated and they all stepped back out into a wide passageway. A short walk took them to the bridge blast doors, which stood open under the laxer security of being home finishing up leave, and the officer on watch greeted them with a crisp salute.

"The fleet is prepared to depart, Commander" He informed Xylon. Leia stopped listening at that point and turned to Han.

"Have the security detail settle into their quarters and tell them have a nice flight."

She glanced up to cast an eye at the two soldiers who now stood at ease on either side of the doorway. She surprised herself as no comment came to her tongue, and so her attention drifted back to the happenings around the bridge as the ship made final departure checks and preparations.
