<b>Several Months Ago

Maximus Tyranus’ Coruscant Penthouse</b>

The Sith Lord sat there, eyes closed – unflinching. Now several hours into a meditation session, he was fully consumed with the dark side of the Force. The meditation chamber where he sat was designed according to his own specifications. A jolt ran through the Sith Lord’s unwavering form, a <i>revelation</i>.

<font color ="#FF6666"><i>From the ashes of tragedy…

Where nothing is living…

<b>Life</b> is born…</font></i>

Maximus Tyranus’ eyes shot open like a lightsaber being ignited for the first time. The Force hadn’t given him an answer, but it had given him a clue. A <i>vital</i> clue. The very clue which he’d been seeking for months. Perhaps, given this information he’d be able to piece together this puzzle that was the Seven Sacred Spheres.

The Sith Lord stood there in the center of the ivory-colored room – excited. For the first time in as long as he could remember, Maximus Tyranus was giddy. Like a child given a brand new hover bike for Empire Day – Maximus was genuinely <i>excited</i>. Ever since he’d learned of the existence of the Seven Sacred Spheres of ancient power, Maximus Tyranus had made it his goal, his <i>mission</i>, to unite them once again.

Now it seemed that everything was coming together. But the question was, what did it mean? Maximus repeated the message to himself in his head, dissecting it line by line.

<i>From the ashes of tragedy.

Someplace ravaged by war perhaps? Devastated by natural disaster? Too many possibilities…

Where nothing is living.

Yes, it’s starting to come together. A barren planet, void of sentient beings.

<b>Life</b> is born.</i>

Maximus nodded.

<i>A life born, where life could not exist.</i>

Maximus Tyranus smiled.

He walked over to the wall, pressing a button on the intercom.

“Khidir, I need your assistance.”

“Yes Master, I’ll be right there.” The droid answered without hesitation.

Not a moment later, the droid known to Maximus Tyranus only as Khidir, entered the room with an audible <i>woosh</i> as the double doors opened and shut behind him.

“Master?” The droid inquired.

“I need you to search the archives, Khidir. I need you to gather a list of planets which fit the following description.

“A planet which suffered some tragedy whether it be military, economic, or natural. This planet needs to be void of natural life, where life was once prevalent, it no longer exists.”

The last piece of the clue would be pursued once Maximus received a preliminary report from Khidir.

“Yes, Master. I’ll begin a search right away and report the results directly back to you.”

Maximus Tyranus stood there looking through the floor-to-ceiling windows out into the Coruscant night sky. Speeders criss-crossed the planetwide city on many levels, as towering skyscrapers extended into the heavens and down to the depths as far as the eye could see.

Something had racked Maximus' brain ever since he had dispatched Khidir to search the archives. The clue had been issued, and in due time Maximus would know the location for that which he was searching.

Through his own research the Sith Lord had uncovered the location of some of the Sacred Spheres yet the mystery was far from solved. With any luck, Khidir had narrowed down a list of possible candidates, and Maximus' search would become easier.

Darth Yang would prove again to be the extension of Tyranus' will. Yang had been dispatched all across the Galaxy from Tatooine to Teton 4 and never once had he failed his Master. Though, now it was evident that the stakes were higher.

Whether Darth Yang would succeed or not was largely irrelevant. Maximus Tyranus was equipped with the knowledge to finally recover the final Sacred Spheres and unlock the untold power with which he would rise to power and usurp that which was his. Not because he had earned it, but because he would be powerful enough to take it.

The way of the Sith left no room for righteousness or justice, the only thing that mattered was power. And when it came to power there were only two categories, those he had it; and those who <i>craved</i> it.

As Darth Bane once said, <i>"Two there should be; no more, no less. One to embody power, the other to crave it."</i>

It seemed in this day, the Sith saw themselves in some type of Golden Age. <i>Pride comes before a fall</i>, Maximus always thought.

<i>The Brotherhood of Darkness also thought to be in a Golden Age when they were devastated at Ruusan.</i>

Secrecy was the way, this much Maximus Tyranus knew to be true. History was doomed to repeat itself, and when it did, Maximus would be the lightning rod for that change.

Khidir entered the living space where Maximus Tyranus stood staring out into nothing in particular.

"Master, I have the results you asked for." Khidir said, as Maximus turned around - a wide smile across his face.

"Telos." He said, seemingly answering the question which was never asked. Before Khidir even spoke Maximus Tyranus had the answer which he was seeking.

"Well, Telos is one of the possibilities, sir. Along with Ithor, Yavin-" Khidir began before he was cutoff.

"Telos <b>is</b> the answer, Khidir. Now leave me." Maximus Tyranus said as he stood there; <i>smiling</i> as he looked through the viewport.

<i>Two there will be; no more, no less. Soon, very soon.</i>
