(OOC: Use this as a starter thread for the faction but do not get carried away with using powers or spells yet. We need to wait until we hear back from the Force Council prior to doing this.)
Lexia...
Several months ago, outside the Lexian Temple of the Nightsisters...
Darkness was everywhere as it normally was on Lexia. A gentle breeze was blowing by, moving the trees and leaves. In all directions were the sounds of the creatures of the forest.
Selene was sitting on the ground meditating. Her thoughts were focussed on the future as she sought direction to be shown to her through the Shadow Magic she had within. Selene silently chanted the spell of concentration to help her gain the answers she so desperatly needed.
The visions then appeared in her mind...
All around her she saw pages from the ancient talismans falling while the pages themselves were whispering their secrets. Before her stood countless shadows which began to slowly take the appearance of Nightsisters. They were calling to her, pleeding for her teachings.
In an instant, the visions stopped.
Selene slowly awoke and opened her eyes. Before her stood three rancors, an elder among three younger ones. They were looking at her as if they were waiting for direction. They were motionless, making no sound. At that moment, she knew what her destiny was, what she was being called to do.
Selene rose to her feet. She waived her hand and the rancors turned, returning to the forest. In the distance, the sound of rolling thunder could be heard. Selene turned around to look at the temple as the blueish stone sparkled in the moonlight.
A new age was about to dawn. Selene knew it was time to share her knowledge of the Book of Shadows to her fellow Nightsisters. Not just the Dathomiri who followed her to Lexia, but to those who feel the call to come to Lexia to become one with the Nightsisters.
Selene also knew what else she was destined to do. She would declare herself the new Matriarch of the clan and would set down the foundations for a new order. The Nightsisters would return, stronger and wiser. The mistakes of the past would not be repeated.
Selene walked up the stairs of the temple entrance as a young Lexian girl approached her. She was one of the many servants assigned to the temple.
"Wake the sisters and tell them to assemble in the courtyard. Tell them their Matriarch Selene will address them."
The girl looked surprised before she turned and ran into the temple to do as she was told. Selene's eyes narrowed as she watched the girl. The future of the Nightsisters would now unfold.

Time had passed...
The Nightsisters had embraced their new Matriarch...
Selene had begun the ritualistic Trial of Fire with several of the Nightsisters who showed promise. Some had lived, and showed the ability to wield Shadow Magic. Others had died in failure.
Selene exited the temple and walked slowly into the courtyard. She had sensed something earlier. Seline had the ability to use the spell of detection regularly which was a great asset to her.
Selene stopped with her back facing the being behind her. "Lexus... I should have known you were not among those killed." A small smile came across Selene's face as she turned to face Lexus.
Lexus knelt before Selene, lowering her head. "I felt an irresistible pull towards this world from far away. I beg of you Matriarch, I beg you to complete my teachings so that I may once again take my place among the Nightsisters."
Selene placed her hand on Lexus' head as she looked down to her. "You have traveled far sister, the Shadow Magic you still possess guided you to us. A Nightsister Learner you once were, a Nightsister Learner you shall be again. Rise Nightsister."
Lexus rose and walked next to Selene in the courtyard. "I have established a new clan here and begun the Trial of Fire with my learners. No longer shall the Nightsisters hide in the shadows. We will return again and now is our time."
Selene motioned to one of the temple servants who then approached. "Yes Matriarch" the girl replied. Selene looked to Lexus. "This is a Lexian, the race of people who live on this world. They are born with the ability to wield Shadow Magic at a very young age though most lack the abilitiy to fully control it except for their tribal shamans. They also believe every Nightsister is a goddess sent ot this world."
Selene then looked at the servant. "Take my Nightsister and show her to her quarters."
The two left the courtyard and into the temple. Selene then looked up into the dark sky. Lexus' return was another sign.

Krista had been with the clan since they arrived on Lexia. She had dreamed of someday being taught the power inside the Book of Shadows. Now that Selene had risen to Matriarch, her chance had hopefully come.
Selene had been teaching several spells to the clan. Krista had witnessed several of those spells go bad. The Trial of Fire would either teach you to master a spell or kill you if you couldn't. So far, Krista had been lucky.
Krista had been walking through one of the nearby Lexian villages. While she walked, the Lexians would bow their heads to her, showing the respect they held for a Nightsister. To them, she was a goddess.
Lexians lived very much like the Dathomiri. Women were the power figures of their tribes as the men were the slaves. The Lexians were born with the ability to use Shadow Magic, but only the tribal shaman or shamans would use it. When the shaman did use it, they would do an elaborate dance and ritual before the entire tribe.
Krista turned to begin heading back to the temple. She would soon learn if Selene would make her a true Nightsister Learner and further teach her the secrets of the Book of Shadows. Krista craved the power of Shadow Magic and wanted to show she was worhty to possess it.

Lexus left the temple to get familiar with the surrounding area. She had decided to head to the nearest village to the temple. Along the way, she had seen a familiar face from long ago.
"Krista? It's been a long time." Lexus' eyes narrowed as the two began to walk in a circle. "It has" Krista replied. Years ago, the two had been rivals. Lexus was chosen to be trained and Krista had to remain behind.
"Do you want to kill me Krista? I'm still better than you, I will always be better than you." A smirk crossed Lexus' face while Krista's anger became obvious as she grit her teeth.
The two continued to circle until they had both stopped. They each heard the voice of Selene in their mind. "We are too few, stop this frivolous disagreement before I deal with both of you myslef."
Lexus and Krista both obeyed their Matriarch. Krista continued to the temple and Lexus to the village. Deep inside, Lexus knew Selene was right. She could sense that Krista was not weak and could not be spared. Lexus stopped for a moment and chanted the seer's spell in order to glimpse the future she and Krista could have. Though it was only a momentary glimpse, a smile crept across Lexus' face. The two would eventually become allies, powerful allies.
Lexus continued to the village. She would approach Krista later.

Allysha watched as Lexus and Krista had their confrontation. She also knew it had to be Selene who stopped them. She watched Lexus head towards her direction and say "Allysha, I can sense you are there."
Allysha walked out from behind the tree. "You always could find me. I thought you were dead." Allysha took Lexus' side and began walking with her to the village.
"All that matters is that I'm back now. Are you still with me?" Lexus asked. "I swore my loyalty to you years ago, that will never change." The two smiled at each other. "I see things haven't changed between you and Krista."
"They soon will my friend... all in time" Lexus said with a dark grin.
Allysha and Lexus continued to the village. Allysha would accompany her old friend on a tour of the surrounding area. As it was before, the two would continue to master Shadow Magic together and Allysha would be at Lexus' side.

All around her was darkness…everything was dark, and she blinked her eyes. She saw one figure come into focus, seeming to be darker than the dark world around her. She saw dark trees, blue statues, a single book from which the words could not be read from where she stood.
She also heard voices; they were saying numerous things, some things of which she understood, and other things she did not. She heard numerous names, directions, instructions, but the voice grew almost inaudible, until she took three steps forward. Then, the figures’ attention was turned on her, those white eyes seemingly piercing her heart, and she froze in fear.
“Jelan…” she heard the whisper of the voice, carried with the slight wind, say. “Come to us—we need you.”
She sat up in the bed from where she stayed from a nice young woman who offered her some shelter, and she groaned, pulling on the boots beside her bed, and placing the lekku wrap about her head. Satisfied with the fact that she did not think she was leaving anything behind, she stood up and left, walking outside to find that it was still dark out. However, the Coruscant skies were beginning to be illuminated, and she judged it was somewhere around five in the morning, maybe even earlier. Perhaps later? She knew not, but it did not bother her.
She then walked—she did not know why, but flashbacks kept playing in her mind from that dream she had woken up from, and knew, for some reason or another, that this was destiny, calling for her. She just had to answer it on the other end, and this was what she had to do in order to answer its calling.
She had passed a pilot, who, unbeknownst to her presence, did not even look at her, and the keys at his side were just too easy to pass up. She casually stuck out her arm slightly, her finger catching the keys, and sliding them out of the man’s pocket, who was too busy being engaged in conversation to notice that he was missing the most important thing he had.
She looked at them, noticing that they belonged to a Trilon Agressor, and she smirked in approval, finding the large ship on dock number eighty-four, unlocked it, and stepped inside, crawling into the cockpit and starting it.
She didn’t know why she was doing this…this was completely out of her own personality to do something such as this, but she was driven by impulse, and soon enough she was above Coruscant in the light star ship, exiting the atmosphere.
On Lexia.
“Welcome, Jelan,” she heard the voice in her head as she stepped out of the ship. As she approached the darkened planet, she swore that this planet had no light on it whatsoever. Raising her eyebrows, she stepped out of the newly acquired ship; she thought, however, that she would not need it again, and left it in the woods on the outskirts of a village. She rose her eyebrows and looked around, then heard voices in the distance.
Her eyes adjusting to the darkness, she saw other forms, and found herself walking towards them.

From all directions in the woods emerged the Lexians, surrounding the stranger. They were curious yet cautious as none of them had seen a Twi'Lek before.
As they examined the stranger, one of the Lexians called out; "A Goddess approaches!" The entire group fell to their knees and lowered their heads.
Allysha slowly approached the stranger. She had never seen a Twi'Lek before either but had heard of them. Allysha stood before the Twi'Lek woman with her arms crossed as she gave a cold stare in her direction.
"Just who are you and how did you get here?"

The Twi’lek let an odd look go to the Lexians as they seemed to bow about her, and she was confused—her? A Goddess? She nearly laughed aloud, but at that moment another figure seemed to approach her, and her eyes struggled to find that it was another female. That was all she had found on this planet so far, seeing as those about her and the woman who now spoke to her were the only inhabitants she had come across.
“I am Jelan Teff, formally of Ryloth. It came to me in a dream that I was supposed to come here. I saw a book, with pages whose words I could not read. I saw fire. I saw magic. And it summoned me here,” she informed the other.

Allysha listen as the Twi'Lek spoke, signalling two of the Lexians to disarm her if she carried any weapons.
"It came to me in a dream that I was supposed to come here."
Could it be possible? Was she drawn here, possibly by Selene herself?
"I saw a book, with pages whose words I could not read. I saw fire. I saw magic."
The Book of Shadows and the powers within. How would an outsider have heard of it?
The thoughts entered Allysha's mind as she stepped closer to Jelan. She noticed that Jelan was still struggling to see in the darkness of the planet. "If what you say is true, you were brought here for a reason." Allysha's eyes narrowed. "The people here are called Lexians, they will accompany you to their village. Wait there until you are summoned."

Lexus walked towards the Lexian village where the Twi'Lek was waiting. Allysha following closely behind. Even Krista had come along to see the stranger.
The Lexians bowed as the three entered the village. "Where is she, where is the stranger?" Lexus called out. The Lexians then presented Jelan to Lexus and her two companions.
"That's her Lexus." Allysha whispered in Lexus' ear.
Lexus looked over the Twi'Lek. She sensed something different about her. "My sister Allysha said you were brought here. Is this true?"
Allysha was now standing behind Jelan alongside Krista. "Do we take here to the Matriarch?" Lexus nodded in disagreement. "No, we will take her to Surpanakha. She will decide what to do with her."
Lexus now looked at Jelan. "You have stumbled across the lair of the Nightsisters. We will bring you to our temple."
The three turned and began to return to the temple. Allysha stopped and turned toward Jelan who was still standing still. "You will need to come with us."
