Rear AdmiralSiather stood on the bridge of the Raging Night Hammer. The massive ASSD had seen the least of the combat in the Nar Shadda incident but the crew of all 7 ships under the Admiral's command. The Tempest Mist, Conquering Mist, and Zealous Mist were in the worst shape. All the ships were being repaired, all ground forces were being trained on the nearby planet of Nenten. All pilots were taking advantage of the asteroids nearby to improve their skills. It left the ships feeling strangly empty but not unoccupied. Maintence crews were working throughout the quiet ships to repair damage and inspect critical systems and their backups. He also had crews repairing minor systems as quickly as they could manage. He didn't want a minor system to kick in while in combat and suddenly blow one of the ships to peices. Siather took a seat in his command chair as he waited and read the repair reports.

Rear Admiral Visaqar's fleet dropped out of hyperspace into the Kessel system, intending to find a Heavy Cruiser analog Vong ship. Instead, he found Rear Admiral Siather's battered taskforce and the Raging Night Hammer.
"Sergeant Rhymer, open a channel to Admiral Siather."
"Done, Sir"
"Admiral Siather, this is Rear Admiral Visaqar. My fleet is ready and waiting your orders."

"Excellent. I am sending you the data I collected from the last engagement with the Vong. I am also including some recommended improvements for your ships they will take some time for you to complete. I suggest you have your ground forces and your pilots do the same as mine are doing they will get training from personnel that have engaged the Vong and know some weaknesses. If you choose to remain you and your ships will be here for awhile but since fleet command isn't listening to us at the moment it is only prudent to prepare our ships against this enemy. This by no means will take you away from your regular duties. We will continue to serve our people and the Rouge Empire but we when we are not involved in a mission this will be our designated rendevous point. Do you wish to have your ship and crew better prepared against the Vong threat Admiral?"

Jander Sunstar relaxed in his chambers aboard the Galofree Medium Transport "Patient Fury." The ship was currently docked on Nentan so the Gand could do a little business with contacts and agents he had on the Outer Rim planet. For this mission Jander had taken the Fury alone, using it's exstensive automation to run the ship on his own. Only the Galofree's fighter crews remained aboard, all with orders to leave Sunstar alone for a while and enjoy thier time away from duty. The Gand had shortly before completed his business on planet, and was taking advantage of this time himself. It wasn't often he had time to relax, but he long ago had learned to maximize it. Currently he was storing up sleep, an odd ability of his species. The Gand rarely had to sleep, and when they did they could store it up for times of need. The same was true of thier respiration.

The door to his cabin slid open and a high-pitched whistle heralded the Gand's longtime companion, the R2 unit "Tripwire." Jander's compound eyes fluttered open, and at Trip's insistance, he logged into the Fury's communications. Sunstar smiled at what he heard. There were Rogue Imperial ships in orbit over Nentan now. Normally this would be bad news for an esteemed smuggler/mercenary, but not for Jander. These ships were commanded by friends. He'd known Siather since childhood, and had met Rashnak not too long after he originally left home. In his free time these last few months he'd kept track of galactic news, often seeing thier names in stories related to TRE activity, most notably in a story about the Sith world of Jaminere, where they had fought off the Yuzzuh Vong.

Standing from his bed, Jander made a decision as he dressed and prepped his ever-present weapons. He was going to go see his old friends. Once made aware of his master's plans, Tripwire trundled off to alert the pilots and ready the ship. In half an hour they were off the ground and headed for space. From the helm Sunstar keyed his com. "TRE vessel 'Raging Night Hammer', this is Phantom vessel 'Patient Fury'. Please tell Rear Admiral Siather that his old friend Jander wishes to speak with him, and is requesting permission to board."

He then patiently awaited a response as he neared the much larger ship...

Siather listened to the message and grinned. I wonder what Jander has been up to these days.

"Grant the Patient Fury permission to dock, inform them I'll meet Jander in the docking bay. Also ask that Rear Admiral Visaqar come aboard. Prepare the forward lounge for visitors and deactivate all the security in there. I also want an escort of two of the Det'aan warriors that came aboard recently to meet me in the docking bay. Ask that Admiral Visaqar do the same."

With Siather's usual efficiency, the Fury was given permission to enter the hanger bay. Jander took the controls, guiding the ship expertly inside the huge bay, landing neatly on the deck and beginning the shut down sequence. Sunstar had complete trust in Siather, but Tripwire and the fighter pilots would be remaining aboard just in case there were any problems, aboard ship or from outside. When the shutdown precedure was complete, he made his way down one of the boarding ramps.

Before the Gand had reached the floor of the hanger Siather and the two warriors he had requested were already approaching the ship. Jander smiled as his old friend walked up, and clasped his hand. "It's been a long time Siather, a long time. How's things going?"

Siather grinned at the sight of his old friend.

"Things have been better but I can't complain. At least not with a ship like this around me. How about you? I have heard some intelligence reports about the ship you have in my docking bay here. Seems that you are following in the path of the great Kazak Tarn."

The Gand laughed out loud at his friends comments. "Well, I don't know what you've heard, but I wouldn't trust sensor logs from anywhere I've been involved, I've got the Fury rigged up really nice." The tone of Jander's voice held pride in his ship, and Siather knew Sunstar well enough to catch his meaning. "Following Kazak? I don't know about that, but I know what you mean. So, when's Rashnak supposed to get here, it's been a long time since I've been able to sit back and talk with friends."

OOC: Dudes, it's Rashnak here

IC: Rear Admiral Visaqar was sitting in the cockpit of his Lambda shuttle as it landed in the main docking bay of the Raging Night Hammer. Since his shuttle left the Excoriator, another vessel had arrived in-system and docked with the Raging Night Hammer.
His pilot recieved clearance, and the shuttle flew into the large landing bay in the belly of the Alliegence-Class Super Star Destroyer.
He walked down the landing ramp of the Lambda shuttle, and was met by one of Siather's subserviants. He saluted, then spoke to Visaqar.
"Admiral Visaqar, Admiral Siather is waiting for you over there, Sir." The Lieutenant said quickly, then indicated to the other ship that had docked. Visaqar noticed two Gand standing near the landing ramp, and made his way over there with his two Noghri bodyguard following behind him.

"Siather, Jander! Long time no see my friends. How are you?" Visaqar said, breaking his formal tone to talk to his friends.

Jander looked back and forth between Siather's tribesmen, and Rashnak's Nogori bodyguard. With a look that was similar to a human raising an eyebrow, the Gand spoke to his friends. "Hmmm, bodyguards to speak to an old friend. An interesting and rather uncomfortable tradition gents. On a more pleasant note however, it's good to see you Rashnak. So, how about we go somewhere more comfortable rather than stand here on the Fury's ramp all day. What do you guys say?"
