Arriving at the homebase C4 was contemplating the events that his progenator had gone through.

He had recently seen the events that had happened in Otta Gunga on the day of vonta's dissappearance just like everyone else in the universe. The events that recording brought to light were going to have vast repercussions on the New order in reguard to their support of a mass murderer.

But the stranger scene was Vonta's strange dissappearance. He had not been as aware as the rest of her circle of her predicament. For that he was chastising himself. His information networks would need improving then.

She dissappeared into nothingness.

Only to reappear back on Drewwa ages later.

Force users were full of mysteries.

Greyy gave him the data collected on the Aing-ti, the teleporters had supposedly been holding her hostage.

Vonta had accuired enough enfluence to attract the interest of such powerful force users? What had she done to warrent such interest? Or what was she on to that warrented such a response was the better question.

In what passed for a droid sub-conscious he was also replaying the slaughter of the Gungans in his head involuntarily. He pushes the images out of mind for now.

The evil that dark force users makes him uneasy. Thus why he need to hunt them down.

Greyy takes him into the home base under ground. They enter the deep recesses of the base by hyper portal. A modification on the Gree technology. The Guard had managed to revive the tech. He makes a mental note to report this confidentially to Mr. Vinda later. The technology could be useful to have.

Another turbolift took them to another location within the base.

After going through several security measures his sensors indicate a notable rise of mosture and oxygen levels. The kinds of levels that would be aquanted with a swamp.

"Mr. Sith hunter. Welcome to the breeding facilities of the Guard." Greyy states with flourish.

Sensors pick up life signs indicating those that match Ylsimari bio signatures.

The creatures were sitting in branches of their natural tree perches. He estimated that there were several thousand on an estimate in this area.

"We would appear to have a deal Mr. Trespe." The droid begins inspecting the merchandise. If this was his payment he wanted those that fit his requirments.

In a surreal moment vonta passed through the glowing intrance of the hyper portal on Drewwa and instantly she was transported aboard one of the Carrier cruisers. The portal operator gave her a quick salute.

She nodded a quick acknowledgment. She was too taken in by the design of the craft that she had just entered. Before her obduction this ship was a mere design in her computers aboard the Nubulan b-2 Saber Strike. She never imagined that it would have been taken this far with out her knowledge.

Around the corner came a single person. One of the Teepo palidins bearing the mark of an Intiate, one step down from master rank, Oddly enough he also bore the pips of a military captain on his person.

"Observer Horn!" He sweeps open his hands with his palms facing outwards, "I was not informed that you were coming aboard today sir."

"Yes well," She was taking in every minute detail of the interior of this storage bay that was being used for the Hyper portal, "I did not plan on coming today."

She walks up to one of the walls. Touching it gentily as if she might to it some harm. As her fingers made contact she runs them along the wall. Her actions made one think that she was testing to see if this was indeed real or just something of a dream that is going to dissappear like it never existed in the first place.

"This ship was just a concept before now. I was not even aware of it's development into a working vessel." Her voice was full of wonderment.

The teepo captain gave a small deep laugh. Not a loud one though. It was low, deep, and full of warmth. "With your absence ma'am. Greyy put the resources of his Guardsmen at our disposal. That included coming up with several craft that were to be used in our search for you. Before your return the reps of the varies force groups were demanding to be given ships so that they could search you out on their own. Admitedly alot of the Teepos were amoung those that I speak of." He touches the hull himself giving it a single gentle carress before his continues.

"This ship was in your ships records so the guard developed it and those of us that wanted to search you out learned to use it. Most of the crew members that are combat trained are Teepos." He says with pride.

"Yes, well then I want the tour of my brain child then captain. If you would oblige that is?" she asked with flourish. The formality was not needed between herself and the teepos. She had become like family to her in return for saving much of their order.

"But of course Observer." He makes a small bow raiseing one arm up and too the left and the other follows suit indicating that Vonta should go first. She goes on ahead and then the captain follows.

* * *

They tour the ship deck by deck and system by system at a stagggering pace. She Heads to engineering and interogates the staff. Pulling each and every last detail out of them. The engines were highly rated for a cruiser of this size. It was supposed to be faster but the concept would not fit to specifications.

As is she knew that they could out run most cruisers of their size and alot of the ones that were smaller.

Shields were adapted to those simular to the Nubulan series. So the ship could indeed take a beating. There she finds out about the molecular shielding armor.

They were about to give her a guided tour of the access points to the insides of the engines when she heard someone talking about the cloaking device. She was pulled in that direction immediatly.

"The ship never included a cloaking device?!" She states quietly to the captain making a question and a statment all at once.

"Well as I said there were some things that had to be sacrificed while others were added to make-up the difference." Came the answer.

Vonta found the main cloak system and begain crawling all over it prying open panels as she went to look at the internal circutry. "Double-blind shield system?"

"Correct." The captain put his hands behind his back paciently following the Observer Jedi.

"Mmm, all of the ship systems are put to gether mostly how I envisioned them. A little bit more space in side then I was looking for but still good." She was now talking as much to the captain as to herself. Making mental notes as she went. The ship had been compacted as much as she could manage she used the Adz destroyer as her template. Expanding on the ship schematics she came up with this carrier.

"I want to see the bridge." She says flatly. It comes out almost as a command.

The captain waves to her to indicate that she should follow him.

* * *

The ship bridge was laid out to spec. It was made to be a combat bridge. THere was a com station, sensors, and the pilots seat. Another design of this craft. It was meant to be used by force users. The stearing was more like that of a freighter or fighter then a cruiser. The ship is flown by a single pilot, a force user that is trained well can use the force to make mauvers that would be impossible for a normal pilot. They could even use their force sense to 'see' through the cloak shield. She did not make that design but she was glad it worked out this way. The pilot also had control of the foward guns. Turbo lasers and Ion canons were fized forwards so that the pilot could use the force to guide the ships weapons in combat. There was a copilot station next to the main pilot seat. But it was only to be used if the pilots were not force users so that normal crew could get the most out of the ship.

Vonta nodded in approval.

* * *

The next stop was one of the three fighter bays on the ship.

The fighters were to be the true heart of the vessel. The ship was equiped with 12 Quad-lasers, six on top six on the bottom. Force users were always doing one mission or another. The equipment was never the same twice. More then once vonta wished that she had a fighter that was not include in her inventory. With proper equipment she would have had more options that would have worked to her advantage instead of having to just 'make due'.

She goes up to another concept brought to life. The modular fighter. She based in it on the Delta-7 aethersprite from the old republic. The ship was as fast and agile as an X-wings but with less sheilds and weapons.

She Looks at the modularity system that the modules are stored in. Each one is set in one of three compartments. at her command sequence it spun on a middle access stopping at the module in question. The first one that came out to combine with the modular fighter was the bomber module.

The small fighter in moments became a intemidating hulk reminicent of the Y-wing bomber becuae it had the same style of Ion canon mounted on top of the cockpit with the module. The module added additional shield strength as well as one proton torp and two cuncussion missle launchers. Not as fast but much tougher then the original craft.

She resets the program retracting the bomber and replacing it with the cloak module. With the addition of the module the fighter almost looked like an 'ugly' version of the Modular fighter, ugly being a fighter with missmatched parts from different fighter craft. There was a single wing along the bottom of the craft and two more that skirt along the sides of the craft. The back edges of the tie fighter like foils were cut off and merged to form a thin addition to the ships actual wings.

She resets for the last time. And gets a welcome glimpse of the last module. The shield and aquatic module. It has no laser canons giving them up in favor of a powerful shield that is over powered for this size of craft. It was nearly three times as powerful as most conventional fighters. That say shield lets it travel under water and it is armed for under sea combat if neccessary. The fighter is excellent for planetary recon. PLus there is the addition that the ship gains superior defenses with the gungan born tech.

She looks through the systems getting picture feeds from the other two fighter bays. The ship carried six of the modular fighters with 12 modules. With this ship watching over them this was going to be quite an asset to the Observer order in the future.

"Impressive captain. Give my commendations to the engineers." She said with a wide smile.

"Not before I give them to the designer ma'am, Congradulations." Vonta had a laugh at that turn phraseing.
  • Posted On: Oct 28 2003 11:33pm
The entire ship was full of force users. The small crew count, 80 total, were made up of a combination of force users and reqular gaurd. Three were enough Teepos to man all of the guns and pilot the ship. In the middle of the ship there was a meditation room set up for a Jensaarai to use their force cloaking abilities on the ship.

She was liking what she saw but she now wanted to get a look at the training frigate. She turned to head for the Hyper portal.

"Ma'am? Where are we off to now?" The Teepo captain politely inquires.

Vonta stops in her tracks she was so involved with her thoughts that she almost forgot about her companion. She put on a pleasant smile.

"I was about to head to the Hyper portal again. I was hoping to take a tour of the Training Frigate." She answers matter of factly.

"Well ma'a...Sir," He corrected himself seeing that vonta did not seem to react well to the ma'am title so he switches to command protecal, "The fighters are more then usable now. Why not take one over there?"

He put the idea out there vonta considers it ponderously. She wanted the chance to try out the craft. She nodded.

"Yes, yes. An excellent suggestion captain."

The teepo moves to the the controls to modifiy the original modular fighter with a module. His fingers fly across the control pad, "So what module would you prefer Sir, I would reccommend the shield module. It would offer the chance to try out the unique features tha..."

"No module captain." She interupts.

"Excuse me Sir?" He was not used to being interrupted and was momentarly confused.

"I would prefer to take out just the Chemelian class Modular fighter as it is. I would give me the best Idea of how the rest of the fighters well operate." The captain relaxed after she explains herself. His face cleared from confusion to understanding.

"In that case the fighter is ready and at your disposal Observer Horn." He switches to a new program. The lights go dim and a mechanical voice is heard.

'Launch sequence ready.'

Vonta did not need any help with the fighter there was a compartment with a helmet in it. That was all that she needed. Even without any training on this craft she knew how to fly it. She had designed the original controls as well as flown most kinds of fighter craft in both her military and Jedi carreers. The captain makes a quick force telepathy communique to vonta. Thanking her for her visit. She does like wise.

The fighter cockpit pressurized and the room went black, the normal lighting replaced by red lights indicating take off procedures. Docking bay doors open above her and docking clamps that held the fighter in place move away from the blue and white hull.

Vonta had her helmet on. She ran a quick systems check. Every thing was green. Activating the Repulsors she rose vertically out of the ship. She laid in a course to the training frigate. It was near the moon of Auyumesh so she was aloud several minutes to enroy the shear joy of piloting.

She Begain by pressing the engines to their maximum burn. She toped out at just over 110 MGLT, pressing the system a little more she managed 114 MGLT before her systems started going red on her indicating system failure immenent. She brought the speed down.

Now Manuvering and weapons. The ship only had a pair of Medium laser canons not much but it was better then nothing. She was more akin to having weapons like those on the X-wing fighter. Then she had manuverability and a fair array of weapons all in the same package.

She Forced the blue and white fighter into tight turns and cork screws that pressed the inertial dampeners to their limits. She was pushed back into her seat and was careful to not pull a stunt that could make her pass out. She fliped up a cover that was over the Laser trigger on her control stick. At once she let loss on several rogue astroids while pulling heavy G's.

:: Good manuvering, at least as good as an X-wing. ::

She thought to herself.

She had to sacrifice alot on this fighter in order to make it a viable to apply modules to it. The ship would opperate like several of the other line fighters but nothing extrodinary. For the most part.

She thinks about the shield module. It is idealy made for jedi. It is able to be used under water and it can be used for an extreme defense.

She was just coming around the horizon of Auyumesh when she spotted the Training frigate.

After the deal was completed with the Droid, C4, Greyy decides to set out on some meditation at his office in the Guards underground facility.

He sets up a pillow to set himself upon. Nothing elaborate for him. After yes of training anything more that is immediatly needed seems like it is over doint it.

Sitting down he crosses his legs, straightens his back and closes his eyes.

In his mind he delves deep into the recessess of his beings. Passing what he already knew of the internal mind. Finding that witch was a power in him that he can only barely grasp. Yet it is tangible enough that he can be aware of it.

He focus's on the faint light. When all of a sudden a beeping enters the trance. He finds that it is strange. Almost sepparate from himself.

He pulls himself out of meditation to hear that he has a beeping from his desk counsil. He looks at the wall chronometer and relizes that he is scheduled for a press conference on the Almanian holobroad cast in the hour.

He is sorry to have to interrupt his Teras Kasi meditation but responsiblity beckons.

He is the figure head of the Teras Kasi. Running most of the public relations and home concerns of the guard.

Although in reality he turned control of the GUard to the Teras Kasi master Toryn Sabreen. No one knows of Toryns existance except for those in the guard. and they are fiercely loyal. Being in the guard even means that one must swear off drinking for the most part.

As so that nothing can get lost in the bar scene.

Even the lowwer levels of the guard believe that they are answering to Greyy. In a way they are. Toryn allows Greyy a high command clearance and a place as a captain of forces when ever he is needed. If need be Greyy could take control of the guard again.

But the old soilder preferred it this way. To let the next generation take over.

Greyy chuckles at that last thought. Sabreen is almost 60 years his senior due to the Teras Kasi training that, at the master level, slows aging down. Greyy wonders just how far he is willing to go into the Teras Kasi path. He has no wish to live that long though.

He just smiles. No, just settle with the sensing of force users. He shakes his head as he prepares for a shower to clean up.

The press conference was nothing of importance. The civilian sectors of Almania were asking about new changes that were enacted and reporting changes that the local cilvilian councils were suggesting. He was of the belief that a government that has a strong military is only strong becuase of the people. Listen to the people and they well be happy.

The Support rating for the Guard was well over 96 %. With all the freedoms that the guard allows and the changes in economic and educational oppertunitues that have come from the Observers and the Guard making a home here again there was little that anyone could feel badly about.

Greyy recieved data files again. Personelly carried from Drewwa by a Nohgri messanger. The shadow guard was nothing short of amazing in their ability to go anywhere undetected.

Putting the data cards into a slot on the data pad he looks through the current status of several projects. The Largest astroids in the system were being hollowed out as a precursor for the future in the belt near the Ship yards and set in preset orbits that would be free from astroid collision. The largested two that had been there for years were being out fitted with Siesmic charges set for directionality. There were surprise drills for the entire system being enacted in periodic stages. Some were twice a day. Others went between several days. The system was locked down in these events and all defenses are enacted. Planetary and otherwise. They never use the same drill more then a few times. To make sure that any enemy would not see their preparations. Most of their main drills were performed in simulations in the holo-rooms.

Another invention of Vonta Horn that she used aboard the Saber strike. The device saved him alot of time from having to use alot more man power for his training sessions.

He had several fowards from varies contengents of the guard as well. Several members of the Rad trooper guard division were concerned about the fleets overall lack of radiation protection. There was a proposal to add a layer of
lead-polymer substrate to all of the armor coverings of the fleet and ground units in order to better protect the internal systems. There was little that Greyy could see wrong with this. This was the material that was used to shield the rad troopers from radiation. The overhall would be relitively inexpensive and without any deficiencies to the ship operations.

He forwards his aggreement to the reccomendations to Toryn. He should aggree as well. So this should be finished within a few weeks as the ships go in for their rearmaments and up grades. The ground units and fighters should see the additional armor immediatly.

“Sanhedrim Ship
this is the typical Aing-Tii starship design. Referred to sometimes as pilgrimage vessels, the Sanhedrim ships are huge, cylindrical craft which are very organic in design. Like the Mon Calamari star cruisers, no two Sanhedrim ships are exactly alike. They are unlike anything seen or produced by the rest of the galaxy, with engines, thrusters, and weapons sprouting at weird angles and placements. The hulls of Sanhedrim ships are covered with millions of glyphs and sigils that mirror those found on the bony plates of the Aing-Tii themselves. The ships average about 300 meters in length, and have a crew of 150 plus 66 gunners. Typical Sanhedrim ships are armed with the unusual Aing-Tii weaponry, often 30 energy web generators and 6 null-burst projectors. Sanhedrim ships are often well-shielded, and are hyperdrive-equipped. However, instead of a slip of pseudomotion before entering hyperspace, the Aing-Tii ships simply disappear. They reappear just as suddenly, as if they were created in their new location. Rather than direct fighting, the Aing-Tii often use these ships as battering rams, seriously disabling the slave ships they hunt.”

In transit to one of the Training frigates Vonta is engrossed in the joy of piloting again. The Modular fighter was fast as well as agile enough for her to become quite creative in her acobatics.

Putting the ship through cork screws and tight turns that would push many seasoned pilots into unconsciousness due to the G-forces excerted on the body.

All at once she feels a familiar touch on her mind.

“Greetings Observer Horn.” It was a telepathic communication that was, in her mind’s eye, the strangely familiar voice of a female.

Immediately Vonta recognized it. It was the mental voice of her Aing-Tii Counsilor the one that defended her before the Ten.

“Counsilor?” Vonta answered questioningly back telepathically.

“Yes…I would kindly ask you to inform your system that they are about to have one of our vessels arrive in your system. In the likely hood of avoiding a misunderstanding please state our intentions as friends.” There was no further explanation just a straight forward statement. Typical Aing-Tii as far as Vonta’s experience is concerned.

Out of Nowhere a frigate sized ship appeared in the system. It was 300 meters long from end to end. It looked about as alien to Vonta Horn as any thing that she had ever seen in her life. With the exception of the vong technology that was reported from the Vinda Corperation’s contact reports on their technology. Emplacments sprang from all parts of the ship. Some, Vonta could see, were engines. Others were undefined because of their alien look to them. She guessed that they were gun emplacements. She Heard the Radio chatter going into high-alert.

She immediately contacted the nearing training frigate.

“This is Vonta Horn to Observer Training vessel.” She waited for a reply.

The ship was turning about. The training vessels were meant for exploration and training force users. Not for combat. They were to avoid Combat if at all possible.

It took a moment before responding. “This is the captain of the Training vessels Professor Horn. We are preparing to tracter you in and make a retreat as is procedure.”

“Never mind that Captain.” She states. Talking in a commanding voice. “Send a message to the Alderaanian guard and tell them that the shlip is a friendly. Do not engage! I repeat! Do not engage!”

“Complying sir.” There was several seconds of pause. The Communications were running through the chain of command with all due speed. A stand down order goes out to all fleet forces.

“Sir the message has been relayed. Do you require pick-up?” The captain inquires.

“Yes. Prepare one of the Hyper shuttles for transport. Disgression is needed here. Professor Horn Out.” She did not wait for an acknowledgment before cutting the communications. She was troubled. She had expected to hear back from the Aing-Tii At some point. But not this soon.

Something was wrong and she needed to find out what it was.

* * *

A Hyper shuttle was prepared for departure once Vonta had landed her fighter in the Training frigate.

The Hyper shuttle was referred to as such because of the fact that it had been stripped of most of the internal amenities in favor of making room for a Hyper Portal Mk II.

She went to the shuttle without waiting to speak too anyone. She commanded the Captain to send word to the leading members of each of the Force sects and too Director sabreen. The Teras Kasi may need to lend an ear as well.

She piloted the shuttle with only a portal technition as her co-pilot. The techs were the guards for the portals as well as their operators. This particular tech was in charge of the Hyper shuttle that she was in.

“Observer please Dock at our port.” The female voice states.

Vonta answers in a question. “Your port being where counsilor. Your ship is not quite what I or my ships computors am used too.”

“Of course. It is in the under belly of the ship behind the bottom most thruster.” Vonta saw where she had indicated on the ship. She lined up her docking port to theirs and connected with ease, the ease was in fact surprising because of the alien nature of this ship.

Vonta gives the Tech to stay on board to received persons via Hyper portal.

Through the portal Vonta’s senses were filled with familiar sensations. Smells sounds, and sights that were just like those that she had experienced on another such vessel. Then she was on trial. Now…

Well, she could only guess what would be required of her.

Several Aing-tii stood at the hatch. They were rigid as stones, more then likely they were the guards. But she felt no danger from them. Behind them stood one Aing-tii that Vonta expected to see. The counsilor from her trial. The Aing-tii them selves were more akin in looks to bipedal creatures common on most planets. But this belied their advanced nature.

“As I said Observer Jedi, we would meet again.” The actual language was a series of clicks and chirps but Vonta heard that familiar female voice in her head as clear as anything.

* * *

Vonta and the Female Aing-Tii that she only Knew as 'Counsilor', what equated to a lawyer in the Aing-Tii’s ruling Council of Ten.

“Before we do anything else I believe that you owe me the pleasure of your name ‘Counsilor’.” She repeated the only name that she knew the female by. She spoke rather then use telepathy. It felt more natural and appropriate to Vonta.

“Yes, that is right I never need give you my Name.” The ‘Cousilor’ looked away for a moment to ponder the question a moment before she answers, “My name is unpronounceable in your tongue of Basic. But you May refer to me as Talis.”

The Pair walk through the corridors of the ship on their way to some location.

Vonta wants to question this but is hesitant to do so. The Aing-Tii came here for a reason and she was not sure if she wanted to know the answer until she was given it.

The arrive in a room filled with Ten Holo pads.

Ten Holo-pads. Council ten perhaps?

Sure enough a moment after the doors close behind Vonta and Talis the pads come to life with the holographic visages of the Ten Aing-Tii that she had been set before previously.

Talis moves in front. “I present once again Obsever Jedi Vonta Horn Before the Council of Ten.”

The Eldest of the group speaks up first. His long beard passes the limits of the holo-pad as if it were cut off.

“Observer Horn. Last time you met with us was to judge your worth as a Force user.” He made the clicks and chirps of his language but his telepathic voice was clear and sure. With a deep Tener to it that was musical and mesmerizing.

“Today,” He continues, “You face our number out of a beckoning of the force it self.”
Vonta was curious at this proclaimation. She had been feeling that she was on her way to a major change but she had not felt a beckoning of the force to seek out the Aing-Tii. Perhaps she would not seeing as the Aing-Tii’s understanding of the force was quite alien to her own. They saw and felt something that she could not.

“Until it is known what part you have to play in the coming days we shall see to it that you are made our ally. Your ‘Cousilor’.” The said ‘Counsilor’ interrupts briefly.

Heretoforth known as Talis in the Observers Presence Sir.” She Bow in respectful apology for the interruption.

“Talis,” The Elder continued, “Shall be your guide to our world. See to her education and safty Talis and Good Journey to you.”

He finishes then the member of the Ten that had not wanted Vonta to continue was still among this group. Although he said nothing Vonta felt his dissatisfaction with this action as well. She had to watch him closely.

With that the Holograms faded and the doors to the Room opened again.

“You should be Honored Observer. You are one of the first out siders in a long while to interest our number so.” Talis regaled to vonta.

“So just what is this education entailing then?” She asked questioningly.

“You are to learn of our race. Just as your new Observer Order mandates you too. Learn out ways. Our philosophies, technology, history, everything. But only with the understanding that only those of your Order are to learn any of this.” She finishes with a statement of fact as always.

“Of course, so I take it that we shall be traveling then.” She got the feeling in the force more then anything.

“As a matter of fact, yes. We are to journey to the Kathol region with several of your vessels. First to our outpost on Exocron and then to visit the home world in the Kathol Rift where we live and where we construct our vessels.” Vonta stops dead in her tracts at the mention of travel through the Rift while Talis continues on only relizing a moment later that she was walking along, “Is there a problem Observer?”

Vonta fights back her surprise the Kathol Rift was one of the most dangerous places in the universe for space navigation. She would rather go through the Maw then through the Kathol Rift.

“Ah you worry about the Rift’s dangers, have no worries our Race can navigate the rift with ease. As well as guide your ships with us.” She reassured Vonta.

“Sorry, I trust you. That was just an old pilots reaction. I have heard many storys about ships that entered the rift never to return. Studies on the rift indicate that it is un-navigatable.” She finishes shaking off her lapse of emotion.

“Do you have vessels that can travel with your Order?” She inquires with yet another question. Probing into what vonta’s capabilities are in terms of technology.

“We have several vessels meant for exploration and training of our order as well as support vessels for the defense of those vessels. I well need to bring the heads of my order’s to meet with us first of course.” She makes her words a questioning statement as seems to be the way of the Aing-tii.

“Yes, you may contact your number to invite them to join us.” Talis answers.

“I well send for them. But they well arrived by Hyper Portal on the shuttle.” Vonta states.

The Bipedal Aing-tii tilts her head questioningly.

“Hyper Portal?” She is not familiar with the device.

“An adaption of Gree Hyper gates. We can use them to make matter transportation through hyperspace via the gates. A form of teleportation with hyper drive as it were.” Vonta finishes her explaination.

“Perhaps we do have more to learn from one another then we originally thought Observer.” Talis answers in a though communication of pleasant surprise.

* * *
Shortly the members of the Observer Order had ‘Portaled’ (A word to describe Hyper Portal travel) over to the Hyper Shuttle docked with the Aing-tii Vessel that Vonta found was called a Sanhedrim.

Before anything else in the interest of trade of knowledge the Aing-Tii agreed to give one of these ships to the order to study. The Aing-Tii were officially Joining the Observer Order. The Aing-tii on this ship well pilot it as well as study the technologies used by the Order as well as the Imperial tactics that the imperials may use.

Talis indicates that Imperials have increasingly been encroaching into the Kathol region. The Ten indicate that they should try to avoid any contact with foreigners until they can decypher what their intentions are. The Aing-tii go after pirates and slavers. A new government they may have no problem with. Governments come and go. But Pirates are a constant.

No, Aing-Tii are to attack Imperials unless stated otherwise. By order of the Council of Ten.

Irman had been in training with his Jensaarai companion when he felt a disturbance in the force. Something new was comeing near.

Ending his excursion he went his sepparate way to was up in his quarters on the Alderaanian Guard Homebase on Drewwa.

He had a summons from Directer sabreen himself awaiting him.

"Hmmm, I wonder...?" He spoke to himself questioningly. It may have somehting to do with the disturbance that he felt.

The text message was for him to report to the lowwer levels immediatly.

The Small Gray skinned figure washed quickly to refresh himself. With the speed that was born of the force he made his way to the Lowwer levels.

* * *

He is greeted by the heads of all of the Orders. Jensaarai, Teepo Palidin, Teras Kasi, and his own the Aiki. The heads of the Guard were her as well, Director Sabreen was of the Teras Kasi but also of the Guard. Greyy trespe was here for the guard and to represent the populace of the Almanian System and lastly was a Nohgri member of the Guards shadow guard elite.

"Quite the assemblage." He says to Greyy.

"Quite." Trespe is not always one for words. He was a consumate soldier. The would all learn what was amiss in due time.

"Is everyone here?" Toryn sabreen looks at the group that he assembled. He was a tall man with war worn features. Scarrs that marked just what kind of a soldier that he was. One that lived to fight another day. As the current director of the guard he knew how to take control of even an assemblage of beings such as this.

No one made any remarks that there were any missing parties, "Good."

He turns on his heel and heads down the hall. They were in the maximum security level of the base only the highest ranking members of the guard were allowed to even set foot on this ground. Everyone follows, questions pulling them allong the way.

They stop at a priivate hyper portal mk II.

He raises his hand motioning for the technition in charge of the Portal to begin operations.

"I have called you all here becuase we have a situation. Not a bad one, at least not yet, but one of great importance. I am sure that all of you noticed that we were put on high alert just a short while ago. If you of the Observers thought that it was a drill. Be assured that it was not." He puased to look at everyone.

"I felt a disturbance in the force earlier. Would it have any bearing in what you called us here for Directer?" Irman inquires unobtrusely.

Several of the other force users reported that they had felt a simular...'presence' as well.

"In fact it does." Sabreen admits, "The alert was called becuase a strange ship abruptedly entered our system without warning. The ship was of unknown origin and did not immediatly identifiy itself."

"We were moving into defensive possitions when our wayward Observer told us to stand down immediately that this ship was a friendly." There was a bit of whispering.

Irman was ever more curious. He felt a presence but not for good or ill. Was this someone that Vonta herself knew.

As Toryn was briefing the group the technition was pressing buttons bringing the portal to life.

For this to be something that he was not sure of was an unsettling thought to a scholar such as the Master Aiki.

Sabreen continues on. "Vonta sent no explaination. Only that I should gather this particular group and travel with you via Hyper Portal to the Hyper Shuttle Portal 05."

From behind him there was a splash like his from the portal as it sprain to life filling an arch with a door of blue-white energy.

"All questions well be answered through the portal." He finished.

No one objected. They were going on Vonta's word and that was good enough for all of them as they each stepped through the portal in single file fashion.

Passing through the portal was an experience like no other to the Nohgri. Though he finds that he prefers a shuttle when he can have it.

For a moment he sees nothing but blue and then he passes through the portal onto solid ground. His forwards momentum not changing at all as he passes through the other side.

As he takes note of his surroundings he can not help but wonder to himself.

-But into what.-

They arrive in the Hyper Shuttle that was their destination. That was familiar. It was what he felt above them that was unfamiliar. There were energies of life and of the force but none like the Master Aiki had ever felt before.

The technition at this portal addresses the congregation, "Observer Horn indicated for me to tell you all to meet her through the docking port."

Through the portal the travel. From familiar suroundings of the shuttle craft into a vessel that was totally strange to everyone of them.

The very architecture of the walls around them was unfamiliar. It was primitive in it's appearance with bone like plates and decorated with complex glyphs yet it felt more advanced then it seemed.

-An Aiki looks for what lies within not what stands upon the surface.- Irman reassured himself with a qoute from the Aiki Holo-cube.

The entourage from Almania stepped out of the hatch and into the view of some of the most unusual species that they have ever witnessed. There were two Aing-tii guarding the hatch and beyond them stood Observer Horn and another Aing-tii.

"Master Nogar, Director, Trespe, and all others well come to a vessel of the Aing-tii." At mention of the name there were mixed reactions from the group before her some seemed just shocked by the fact that they were meeting the myths in the flesh. In a few she felt some general anomousity towards their hosts. Not that she could blame her friends and allies for harboring some ill will.

She was, after all, held hostage by these very beings against her will for a time that cuased quite a bit of trouble for all those that were loyal to her.

Vonta gestures to the Aing-tii beside her. "This female Aing-tii beside me is Talis. She was my counsilor during my..."

Vonta considered her words with care so not to inflame any more ill will then already existed, "...brief stay with the Aing-tii."

The Female Aing-tii made a light formal bow to all those present.

"It is an Honor to meet those that the Observer holds in such high esteem." Everyone heard the clicks and chirps that were the true language of the bony plated creatures. Above the sound were her words that traveled to each person via telepathy. Spoken with a graceful female voice that spoke perfect basic.

The small form of the Nohgri is pacient. This was a member of a group that had tried to take away his apprentice not long ago. Now they were seeking friendship with those that they had hurt the most by abducting her.

He felt mixed emotions.

He hiimself understood why they did what they did. At least the principle of it.

They were following what they interpreted as the will of the force. NOt an easy thing to interpret. Throughout his years of study he found that there were many things that were down by the 'will' of the force. Those that found out that they had misinterpreted the force found that they had walked into some blunder that cost them dearly.

The Aing-tii were a old and wise race and order. Though the Aiki knew little about them he had a hand full of records on their actions against slaver ships going back several thousand years. Nearly as far as his records stretche. Good will is alway the way to start.

"The pleasure is all mine Talis of the Aing-tii." He made a bow of his own.

"Master Aiki, last of that order founded by a Master Morehie. You spent several decades studying in a secluded location. You are an anomally among your people. A force user, of witch the Nohgri have never had do to some latent resistance to it in terms of detection by force users. Yes your record precedes you." Talis made an effortless recount of Nogars accomplishments.

The gray skinned being stood speachless. He glanced over at Vonta questioningly. She shook her head as an answer. Indicating that she said nothing of the sort to Talis.

"Ah, you are confused. Our race keeps watch on many of the force users of the universe. As well as of the dangerous force Items scattered accross space. Thus how we knew of Observer Horn." She answered the question that Irman had yet to ask.

"Indeed there is more to your race then I ever imagined." Irman said in wonderment.

"And of course we have Master Teras Kasi Toryn Sabreen. Members of the Teepo and Jensaarai orders. And another Nohgri of whom I have no record of." Talis continues on.

Irman chimes in, "You know much of us. But we do not have the same pleasure."

"There well be time enough for that during our journey Master Aiki." Talis drops another hint.

"Journey?" Irman was even more curious now. What could not have been said over communication channels?

"All in due time Master Aiki. Follow me please." Talis's answer was in the Aing-tii fashion. In the form of a statment.

Everyone had not choice but to follow and see where it led them.
