Negotiations (Diplomacy with Bespin)
  • Posted On: Nov 14 2001 4:10pm
Though it was only a few days after his wedding, Fearsons was yet again summoned to an important matter across the galaxy. As much as it upset him, he went, he knew his duty as emperor often had to come first. He sat in a small cramped room with several pieces of art and holograms, outside a purplish mauve texture shown the twilight sky that was Bepsin. Hands clasped behind his back, he stood facing the window, all the while thinking of his new wife.

Tabris...he did not want to leave her so quickly yet again, but he knew he had to, but he also knew when he got back he would make it up, indefinitly. He spun to find his way to the couch where his guards stood ominously as usual, sometimes he wondered if he really needed them. <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> I can defend myself...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->he thought, but then he remembered...there were times he could not.

The door suddenly slip open, making him jump slightly as it startled him, and two men emerged from the portal. They were humans, standing average height with a wookie bodyguard, standing a good 6'8".

"Greetings Emperor Fearsons my name is Darek Wyelaen of the Bespinary Government, and this is simply Jon, we hope you have enjoyed your stay here?" he asked with a bright smile, shaking the hand of the emperor. Fearsons returned the shake with a nod of his head before sitting across the table from them in a white cushioned seat.

"You being the initiaters, would you like to start?" he asked, easing back in his seat. Darek looked over at Jon with an excited grin and he faced Fearsons.

"Yes we would actually," the diplomat responded eagerly, drawing a small datapad from his coat, handing it to Fearsons. Reaching over across the table he took it quickly and examined it, making sure there was no assassination attempt, and then read it. Activating the button, it looked like a general contact.

Fearsons gave it a quick skim of each page, which took around three minutes before looking back up at the men who seemed absorbed in all of this. "Can I get a basic run down of all of this before I read it tonight?" he inquired.

"Of course my lord," Darek responded, taking the initiative over his counterpart. "It says basically the taxation laws Bespin would be forced to implement upon joining the soverignty of the Rogue Empire, of course the garrisons you'd be required to place upon us, the regulations on Tibanna Gas, things like that."

Fearsons peered over it again, although he knew when he came here that Bespin was eager to join the empire, only now were his hopes confirmed. "Joining you say?" he asked, still reading the pad. "I'll tell you what, I'm going to retire for today, because I spent a belonged journey coming here. I shall read over these tonight, and tell you what I think tomorrow."

Both men's grins only spread as the emperor said this, it was obviously greater accomplishments than initially expected. Fearsons nodded and stood, taking the data pad under his arm. "I'll see you men tomorrow," he said, narrowing his eyes. The Force told him there were ulterior motives here...there was obviously something else going on here, but it seemed like the ambassadors knew nothing about it. Letting the subject drop, deciding it imprudent to mention it...he left.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

He let out a long sigh throwing the datapad on the bed. The emperor had been up all night, and was beginning to grow agitated. Mouth dry, head throbbing, he could only think of Tabris, seeing her pictures mounted all over his walls. Some behing of her, others being of both of them, they all told him that he had to see his wife. Wearing no shirt and only tight pants, he read the datapad once more, the terms were slightly off, but all in all they seemed OK. Being the emperor he felt it was appropriate to add such changes to the terms for the admittance to his empire.

"Fools can never write a treaty right the first time," he said clicking in some information. But he was distracted, his mind tainted by the distress of leaving his new wife...again.
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> I'll be back soon Tabris, I promise<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> he thought to himself, as he punched in the last additions to the treaty. <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> I promise<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Screams were heard all over the conferance chambers of Bespin as Fearsons' rage built and built beyond its normal stability, even Darek managed to snap now and again. Apparently the two Bespin businessmen had struck a chord that was not freely open to.

"I will <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> not<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> offer full top secret clearance to imperial documents to anyone in the Bespin system with equal clearance of a previous government!" the emperor roared, louder than even the Wookie was roaring. He turned to the large furry beast and lifted his hand, choking it suddenly and shutting it up. "You will learn your place guard, or suffer the same consequence so many other star systems who attempted to test my wrath have!" With that the entire room went silent, Fearsons had lost his temper, which was considered very bad form. He let the gagging Wookie go and looked down at the two diplomats.

"I do not take insults lightly," he explained, sitting back down. Both men seemed dumbfounded, but shook the event off.

"My lord Fearsons, you must understand that our government is based on a bond of trust we-"

"Are a corporation of selfish businessmen, and until I see that your men can be trusted, they will not even step FOOT on Despayre, Rogue imperial or other," Fearsons barked, cutting the man off.

"Perhaps you should rest a while, think about it?" Jon asked sympathetically, with a caring tone.

"Wrong, obviously you have no desire for a peaceful resolution with the emperor," and with that Fearsons stood, making his way to the exit. Both of the diplomats realized the futility of trying to take initiative, thinking most likely the emperor was going to repel with a full assault maybe.

"My lord wait! We can...negotiate," Darek pleaded, jumping to his feet. The emperor spun on his heels with a gleeful grin.

"You can now?"

The day had been engulfed with rage and insults, all day Fearsons and Darek had gone at it growling and mumbling at each other, but finally it ended in Fearsons' victory. Now he stood out on Cloud City's balconies, watching the majestic skies. Bespin was not as interested in joining the Rogue Empire as they had seemed over the HoloNet, but the emperor would not leave until he had soverignty of the system, even if he had to take it by force.

He looked down at the endless clouds, he knew a thing or two about Bespin, he knew it was the best source of Tibanna Gas in the galaxy, and he also knew most people from there were gamblers who loved their money more than themselves. But those who did not gamble were hard workers, devoted to their jobs...exactly the sort the Rogue Empire needed. He would certainly have a thing or two to tell Tabris...

His chain of thought was cut off by a sudden flash of the Force, and he spun on his heels, apparently his PeFauna had sensed it as well, several figures moving in on him. There were three, one coming from the left, one from straight ahead and up the next ramp, and one to the right...they planned to ambush him. The PeFauna's axes were activated and held forward in a combat stance, ready to take on anyone who dared charged him.

"Get him!" was heard as a yelled order coming from the top ramp and both men charged from the flanks, one hitting the PeFauna off guard, the other meeting the wrong end of its axe. Something flashed through Fearsons...it was a chill that ran up his spine, the same chill he'd feel around Palpatine....the Dark Side. He lifted his double-bladed lightsaber just in time to parry an orange blow from the man on the ramp who'd lept at him...a dark jedi.

Fearsons rammed his orange side, the right side at the attacker, and met the clash of the lightsaber, the crackling heard throughout the halls. Strike, parry, strike, parry, strike, parry, Fearsons was stepping back toward the edge now, taken off guard by the monstrosity of the attacks. The attacker twirled his blade toward the emperor's head, but met only air as he ducked, and kicked the man in the hip, forcing him to step back. The Force guided Fearsons' each blow and block, pre-emptivating each move, each motivation of the foe. Though only a padawan, he was infact a very powerful one to say in the least.

By now Fearsons felt it was time to get desperate, and he detached his two sabers, holding one green and the other black, stabbing both at the man, but he stepped out of the way. A blood gurgled scream emitted from where the PeFauna were situated...they won. <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Only a few more seconds...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> he thought to himself, but focusing everything on his opponent's attacks, not wanting to be derived from his focus on this Dark Jedi.

Two more swings from Fearsons, and the other riposted, attempting to slash at Fearsons' legs. The emperor caught it with his lightsaber, and then brought his own blade up, scoring a blow against his head and nearly killing him. Stumbles led to a trip, and thus he fell over the side of Cloud City to the endless scapes of sky below, what would happen Fearsons could only guess...

Preceding the previous day's attack, Cloud City had been put under strict martial law. Standing on the highest post to be sure he could be seen, as well as heard, the Royal Councilor, Paoplam Lightrue, stood with three metallic guards standing heavily and sternly behind him...Dark Troopers, the most feared soldiers in the Rogue Imperial army. Though only three...their greatness was recognized. Speaking into the loudspeaker's intercom, Lightrue's voice was echoed throughout the entire city with little to no problem.

"In accordance with the previous day's attacks on our lord Emperor Fearsons, he has instated that for the remainder of our negotiations with Bespin, the entire Royal Imperial Regiment shall be here to monitor all occurances," he explained properly and dignifiably. Fearsons stood next to him with an admiring grin, knowing that the three there could easily eliminate every soldier on this planet...possibly the system.

"Only three? Is <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> that<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> the entire regiment?" Darek inquired, lifting both eyebrows unsurely. The emperor simply let out a laugh, obviously he hadn't studied the Civil War well enough...the three were able to do most things an entire army of stormtroopers had trouble doing.

"Now...we will commense negotiations," Paopable said at last, bowing to the emperor before leaving. The Darktroopers began their parade down the streets, monitoring for any form of assault or assassination plot...targetting specifically that Wookie.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"Now what were you saying about Bespin officials?" Fearsons asked with a great smirk that could only mean he was not going to give up on his point. "I believe we left off with your agreeing that I could keep my secrecy...?"

Darek and Jon both gulped in perfect unison, looking to each other hesitantly, then snapping back at Fearsons. "Umm yes my lord, we can tolerate your arguement of this point-"

"No, you can ACCEPT my arguement or you can forget joining our empire," Fearsons barked ferociously, throwing the men back in their seats.

"Y-Yes my lord, I apologize for the scruteny of this all, we can accept this with no issue," Darek responded with a nod, resting his shoulders now. "Allow us to sign the treaty now?" This brought a shiver up Fearsons' spine...he was not expecting such results so quickly...

"Umm yes, of course, I shall sign the agreement," Fearsons agreed, pulling out his pen and scribbling his signature down on the datapad, which was then signed by the two Bespin emmissaries.

"Thank you my lord!" Darek exclaimed eagerly, almost too excited to keep his voice steady. Fearsons simply nodded his approval, knowing Bespin would be in his control the moment he got a governor and his troops aboard the city. He turned to his PeFauna and nodded to them happily, and they responded with their own grim nods.

"We shall take our leave," he said and began out the door, soon Bespin would be under complete Rogue Imperial control.

Tabris leaned against a wall just outside the room where the Emperor had been talking not wanting to disturb the proceedings. She watches, her usually friendly expression darkening, as her new husband walks past without noticing her, his eyes focused in front of him.

"Would you look at that... walks straight past without even seeing me!" This comment was directed at Chris, she had opted to bring him along with her rather than the PeFauna that Emperor Fearsons kept as bodyguards.

"Don't assume that, he has been busy with other things... besides, I kind of snuck you in without telling him... you're not supposed to be here so this may come at a bit of a surprise to him. But I am quite sure he will be much more than happy to see you." He smiled at Tabris, "Anything you need?"

"No, not really thank you. I love surprising him it's funny to watch his expressions. I do hope you're right though and he wont be angry that I came."

She started off down the corridor after the Emperor quickly catching up to him and slipping her arm through his, the PeFauna recognizing her did not react.

"Hello m'lord. I thought you might be angry with me for coming but I didn't expect you to completely ignore me! We've only been married several days and already you're taking me for granted and running when I come to see you."

Laughing she looked up at him teasingly hoping that he would not look angry. Seeing nothing but surprise on his face she decided to keep talking. She kept walking pulling him along since he had stopped and hung on his arm as she smiled at him.

"I got tired of waiting at home for you and thought that I could look around the city while you are negotiating.. that is if you're not already finished..and then when you aren't busy we could sort of start our honeymoon. We get more done that way and then we also don't have to travel back and forth between planets."

OOC I apologize, something happened to my post where I talked to Tabris, so I'll sum it up here real fast. Fearsons hugged her and kissed her and explained it was too dangerous for her to be wandering about. Okie, back to the next part.....

"How many are in thus far?" Fearsons asked Paopable as he watched the stormtroopers move about the city, garrisoning themselves in designated locations. The air was cold and crisp, every once and a while a breeze would push up and past the two figures. It took a few moments for the lesser figures to compile and repeat the data.

"Well my lord, so far we've transported..." he checked the small datapad in his hands once more. "Twelve-thousand soldiers in the city, two <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Victory<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->-Class Star Destroyers and one <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Imperial-<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> Class Star Destroyer are just outside the planet's atmosphere, and there are four TIE squads patrolling the perimeter." The emperor's lips curved into a smile as he absorbed these reports, all that was left was time, time to get the stormtroopers to their respective positions, time to fortify his rule.

And yet that thought of abandonment lingered, torturingly in his mind as he was yet again forced to leave Tabris while he was off on some crusade. Victory always came with a price, unfortunatly this one demanded time from his wife. He balled his hand tightly into a fist, feeling his rage and sorrow rush through him. However, using the Jedi technique his Master Solo tought him he was able to surpress this sudden burst of rage.

"Excellent report Paopable, send word through the city that they are now under Rogue Imperial rule," he said, hoping to change the subject as quickly as possible. The councilor, seeing a sensative chord had been struck in the emperor, quickly complied.

"My lord, we are expecting the entire compliment of assigned forces to bere within the next day, possibly by the end of this one," he said, his voice hinting a bit of glee. The emperor did not share his enthusiasm, but he was infact very excited.

"I'm going to take my leave now, monitor the proceedings," Fearsons ordered as he began walking toward the Sentinal-Class Landing Shuttle awaiting his entrance. The PeFauna stood behind him, allowin the emperor to enter first. Slowly, one at a time, they followed in, a perfect display of Rogue Imperial efficiency and equalibrium.

After a moment or to of typical ship preps, the entire group of people inside shook and shook before....<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> BOOM!! <!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> <!--EZCODE BOLD END-->.

Chris was asked to monitor Tabris as Fearsons was away, to make sure the assassin did not try to take her as well. They strolled through the beautiful halls of Bespin, watching the skies, the sun setting and rising. Tabris found her way to a railing, and sat on herself it, a small tear forming at the base of her eye.

"What is wrong Lady Fearsons?" the man asked, tilting his head to the side. She shook her head to him, hair shaking on either side in unison. "I hope to comfort you."

The Empress bit her bottom lip in hesitation. "It's chadd..." she said, a lump forming in her throat. "I never see him, and, well I know he's busy, but I miss him..."

"I see..." Chris Liberi responded, bowing his head. "Lord Fearsons <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> is<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> a very busy man, he tries hard to make time for you, but that grows more and more difficult at times." The young woman let out another heartfelt sigh. She knew the pains of being the emperor's wife, but she did not enjoy it. But then again there was something else bothering her, she could feel it dep in her heart. she became very cold and afraid suddenly, looking at Chris. her skin became tingly, like a thousand needles were piercing her body.

"Chris, there's something else that's wrong, I don't know what, but something," she said, a slight hint of panic in her voice. Liberi immediatly sprang to full attention as she said this. "It's about chadd, something's wrong..." of course now Chris calmed himself, he felt it was just her sorrow for not seeing him.

"Lady Fearsons, all is well with the emperor, he is with his PeFauna. Come, let me show you," he remarked, starting toward the hangar.

"Something is wrong, I don't know how but I feel it," Tabris commented as they made their way down the various halls and turns. A slight walk transformed into a run as they got nearer, and the feeling stronger.

It grew to new heights as they stood over the balcony just near the landing platform where Fearsons' shuttle was docked. Her concerned expression did not change in the slightest by this sight.

Chris turned to face Tabris, offering a reassuring smile. "See Lady Fearsons? He is well," but he was cut off by a loud and sudden explosion going off just belw the two...at the hangar. Tabris was already on the ground with Liberi shielding her.

"Get off me!" Tabris screamed desperatly, wanting to see what happened, yet fearing that what she thought would come to be. Reluctantly she rose from her bodyguard's grip, peeking over the balcony. What she saw made her legs shake, her entire body beginning to tremble as she saw what was left of her husband's shuttle.

"Chadd?! Chadd!!!" she screamed, but received no answer. Stormtroopers and PeFauna alike raced back and forth among the wreckage of what was once a beautiful hangar bay.

Chris was equally astonished, but more so over the fact that something like a bomb could have been slipped past security and onto such an important craft. He turned to see the empress in tears, simply mumbling the word no over and over.

However all this was cut off by a horribly loud roar behind the pair..a wookie. Both sets of hands raised in surrender, and they turned slowly. Holding an old stormtrooper rifle, a large furry wookie, the body guard of the ambassadors, escorted by two other men on his sides. To the left of the bear-like figure was a man dressed in the noteable Mandalorian armor. He held a larger rifle himself, while the other in half stormtrooper armor.

"He says you better come with us," the man in mandalorian armor interpreted, expressionless. Chris' hand dropped down to his blaster, but the barrel of the wookie's in his chest convinced him to drop it.

"Krypish has a very itchy trigger finger, I suggest you give him your gun," the Mandalorion dressed captor remarked mockingly. Reluctantly the weapons were handed over, and the two were led away down the halls to a small, cramped room with stale, alcoholic and urinated air...like a prison. All the while Tabris was in tears, unable to think of anything but her slain husband.

This seemed to distress the Wookie, but more out of the annoyance of her sobs. He let out a ferocious roar to silence her, and silence she did. The Mandalorian motioned his hand toward the sourtship, stroking her cheek with the back of his green gloved hand.

Tabris did <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> not<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> take this lightly, and returned his touch with a slap across his firm helm. though it hurt her hand more than it did the man, it got her point across. "You murdered him didn't you?" she barked with all her courage. It took the man a moment to radjust his helmet, but he gave a glare beneat it.

"We prefer the term 'assassinated'," he said evilly, showing no guilt for the crime he'd commited.

"The Rogue Empire will not die!" she screamd, no longer able to hold back her tears. They flushed down her cheeks in ongoing strands. her teeth were bared, and the only thing stopping her from lunging and attacking him was Chris' grip on her arm.

The wookie let out another roar.

"Stop your foolishness," the other barked back at the bigger creature, standing now before the valoress Tabris. She spat on that shiny helm of his.

Wiping the fluids from his visor, he looked directly at the woman. "Maybe not yet, but soon Tabris. that fool of an heir General Thornbury will not last, he is an ass of a leader, he will drive your pathetic empire to the dirt that you stand on!" he yelled as loud as he could. He then let out a hideous laugh, grabbing Tabris by her forearms and lifting her.

Chris tried desperatly to prevent this, but met the butt of the wookie's rifle in his face. With unremarkable strength he threw her to the ground, pushing himself ontop of her...Tabris knew what he was going to try and do. "Now woman, you shall learn to respect me-"

The mandalorian dressed attacker was cut off by a sudden blast at the door, sending extreme amounts of light into the room. He spun to face the disturbance, with rage that was turned to fear as his eyes adjusted on the figures. There were four of them in the doorway, in a boxed formation, draped in black -- PeFauna.

From the middle of the exceedingly loyal figures, a voice audited. "I, your ruler, your judge, jury and executioner have deemd you guilty of inciting survile insurrection, conspiracy, treason, and the attempted assassination of Emperor Fearsons himself, the punishment: Death."

All figures in the room stood for a moment of silence, jaws to the floor. The two PeFauna in the front stepped to the sides, displaying the thought dead Emperor Fearsons. The Wookie wasted no time in bucking his legs, and charging straight at the one who he tried so hard to eliminate. However, the PeFauna to the right twirled its staff, and activated the laser axe. In one solid motion, Krypish lay on the floor in two pieces.

Fearsons then motioned for his crying wife, using the Force to supress the two in the room. Tabris wasted no time in leaping from the floor and into her husband's arms. When the emperor let go of them with his power, the PeFauna stuck on either one, their laser axes to their throats.

"Tabris..." Fearsons said solemnly, wrapping his arms around her in a loving embrace.

"How did you...?"

"It's a long story," he said, husing her. "I'll explain it all later."

The two ambassadors were dumbfounded at the sight of the emperor, having been told of his ship explosion, and how it burst into a ball of flames. But then again, they were also relieved. Fearsons stood personally before Could City, a hint of rage in his eyes. Before him, was a large curtain, with constant mumbles coming from it.

"Citizens of Cloud City, learn you now, the punishment for treason, attempted rape, and attempted murder! When under my rule, you will be happy, and peaceful, but if you attempt to attack me, OR my wife specifically, you WILL be punished to the law's FULL extent...allow me...to demonstrate!" he yelled to the city, as the curtain dropped, showing the two captured men strapped to the back of a twin ion engine. "Learn you now...what disorder brings!" With that he let his hand drop, and the engines turned on, blowing fire out the backs and ripping into the men. Their screams were echoed throughout the city for several minutes before they simply....stopped.

Bespin was now under Rogue Imperial rule...as harsh as the punishment seemed, the public had no idea how cruel they truly had acted.

The room was quiet, still. Fearsons had left Tabris in his quarters, and now he was there to reconcile with her. He opened the door with a sigh, its hum shielding the disappointed exhalation of his breath. The emperor entered his quarters, to see Tabris sprawled out on their bed, sleeping and cuddling with her pillow. He entered and sat on the bed next to her, stroking her hair with his hand.

"Tabris..." he said with another sigh of distress, which awoke her from her sleep. Tired eyes blinked twice before a smile emitted unto her lips. She was as usual, happy to see him like she never got to. Her arms wrapped around his neck in a loving hug, and he returned this himself.

"I've missed you Chadd," she whispered in his ear, kissing the lobe softly. He simply smiled in response.

"I know...I've missed you too Tabris," he whispered back. His PeFauna were polite enough to stand back, to let the two lovers reunite. He reached back, breaking the hug and looking at her.

"Now how did you survive the explosion?" she inquired, a puzzled and curious look on her face. Fearsons chuckled lightly.

"There is metal plating under my designated seat. The fire didn't get through there, and I managed to leap out in time," Fearsons told her with a smile.

"Ahh...I see...are you still busy love?" she asked with hope in her eye. Fearsons, looked down grimly and solemnly, and Tabris knew that look...she let out another sigh.

"Nope," he said looking up at her suddenly with a wide smile on his face. Tabris' eyes went wide with excitement. "I've cancelled all appointments specifically for our honeymoon." She looked at her husband with loving eyes, taking him back into another hug.

"I just have to finish getting the shuttles in and out and we're all set," he explained finally, but tabris showed no signs of disappointment, she seemed, if anything, very excited. "You stay here, I'll be back in like, 30 minutes." She simply kissed his nose with a loving smile.

"Hurry," she whispered in his ear. "I get lonely easily."

"Are you and the lady done reminiscing?" Paopable asked with a slight smirk as he saw the emperor leave his quarters. Fearsons turned an evil glare on his councilor as they began to walk toward the city's common railing. The emperor had a horrible snarl all the while, every now and again he'd look over at the PeFauna to his side.

As they approached the railing, Fearsons' snarl grew larger. "Tell me, what do you know about the assassins?" he asked as they walked, his arm wrapping around his "friend's" shoulder. Paopable merely shrugged.

"Not a whole lot my lord, they were awful suspicious peoples..." he responded, growing a slight sweat. Fearsons had cought on... "W-Why do you ask?"

Fearsons turned to him and grinned, lifting his fingers and snapping them. Both the PeFauna immediatly charged forward, grabbing the man by his feet and throwing him over the edge. His screams emitted until well after his figure disappeared in the Tibanna Clouds.

"Foolish traitor," Fearsons remarked, spitting off the side as well. The Force had revealed the man's treachery...he was the one that planted the bomb on his shuttle. He spun to the PeFauna captain, whom stood out from the rest with a beautiful Rogue Imperial Seal encrested on his left breast. "Captain, monitor the rest of the oncoming troops and ships, I am going to be with Tabris." The captain bowed his head in agreement, and slowly began walking away with the others.

He had requested to go to his quarters for the time, but Chadd had called the three dark troopers in, so he figured he would have some fun with that... He geared up and was in a Dark Trooper outfit in under a minute. He stood outside in the dark metal suit with two others... both the others were to his left and right. He walked down the halls...

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Such a nice place... it was an excellent choice for his majesty the Emperor to choose. I have a good show to put on and 7 'explosive' rounds to fire off in honor of taking this place... I am glad Chadd is ok, Lady Tabris would be very difficalt to calm down about it and get her to the point of a life again without Chadd... if that was even possible... somedays I wonder though... I need to ask Chadd some more questions about my past but that is for later. This is a time of celibration not sadness and pitty. <!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

The three Dark Troopers lined up as the fighters flew overhead, the signal was given to fire as each of the Dark Troopers fired into the sky what appeared to be explosive rounds fired, but they bloomed into beautiful fireworks... Red, Green and Blue. The signal came again, this time they exploded in Yellow, Grey, and white. 5 more shots were fired off by each trooper, giving a 21 gun salute. It was quite beautiful... but there was still work to do

Tabris, still sitting on the bed, drew her knees up to her chest and rested her chin on them. Her mind drifted back over the last few days but not wanting to dwell on it she hurriedly pushed the thoughts back and looked around for something to occupy her until Fearson's return. When her gaze roamed over to pictures of the wedding it dawned on her that she had no idea where they were going. She rolled off the bed and stood barefoot on the floor and tip-toed, even thought there was no one else in the room, over to the desk where Fearson's had been keeping his documents hoping to find something that would give her a clue. She attempted to open the first draw as the door opened to admit Fearson's.

"Umm.. back so soon m'lord?" Time flies when you're snooping around your husbands desk apparently.

He smiled at her and replied, "Time goes too slow when wanting to see your wife."

Tabris gave him an ironic smile back, "Well I wouldn't know anything about that so I shall have to trust you. Now tell me where we're going...please? Oh, and also how the take over is going. In that order."
