Journey to Onderon: The Will of the Force

Aboard the 'Black Pearl' entering the Japreal system-

Rhianna knew that Odon had left earlier then she had and naturally assumed he would have arrived earlier, but she wasn't positive. The whole mission felt wrong, as if something was about to happen. Kale and Bannor had left before she and Odon had so she was hoping they would already be waiting and with the Force willing were already gathered together.

The plan had been for them to meet up near where Odon had landed but plans never seemed to go as one planned. "I'm not sure wether we will be that far behind them. It should be nearing sunset where we are going to land, so we'll have to hurry and get out there to find Odon and Kale before it gets too dark. There are some pretty ferocious animals out there."

Settling back into the Captain's chair she checked the chrono again. In ten minutes time she would be pulling the Pearl from hyperspace and within an hour they would be on the surface. She only hoped that everything would be going according to plan when they reached Onderon.

Wherever Sedriss Is

Zerxes walked through to where he could feel the Dark Lord. Jedi were near by and he had a want for their blood. A want for destruction. He strolled in and knelt before the Dark Lord.

"My Lord, what is it that you wish me to do?"

He kept his eyes focused on the ground as he waited for a response. He wanted to kill Jedi but his services may be needed elsewhere. He did, after all, have a lot of experience for a disciple.

Valley of the Jedi, Ruusan

Images of battle faded in and out of the grounds before him, whether these spirits understood what they were replaying or not, they battled against eachother as if there was no tomorrow, never knowing that there would always be a tomorrow filled with battle. But this was not meant to last, Arkan did not feel it was required at this time. The twilight was coming, the noon was soon fading. It was time.

Looking through his Force Vision, Arkan saw the bindings of the Force between the spirits and this material world, fluctuating just like his own power. Reaching out to each one of these strands, extending his power like voracious vines, he wrapped onto their essences.

"Magica dispelle" He cried out, not just through his voice but through the Force.

His Force tendrils snapped back just as all the spirits faded from view, resettling back to rest. So too did his vision snap back to reality.

Lowering himself to the ground, Arkan started walking out unto the Valley, looking at the meager plantlife and the expanse of dirt and rock. A small blue flower caught his interest, alone and almost wilting. It reminded him of himself, alone because of the decisions he made and alone because of who he was.

"One once said... Loneliness is the poverty of self; solitude is the richness of self," Arkan spoke down to the flower.

Just then, a gush of wind and a roaring ship's engine blasted into range.

Arkan knew Revenant was here. He knelt down beside the flower and caressed one of its petals, then carefully stood away and approached the ship as it carefully landed nearby. Arkan pointed his right arm with the remote at the ship, tapping in commands to open the ramp as he neared.

He gave one last look at the flower who waved around in the wind, almost as though it were saying goodbye to him. Nodding, he walked up the ramp of his old ship and commanded it to ascend as the ramp closed behind him. Reaching the pilot's chair, he propped himself in and snapped the safety belts together. The autopilot was on. Manually, he entered the known coordinates for Onderon where he felt Kale would go. And as they left Ruusan, Arkan could not help but feel as though he left a part of himself behind, another piece of his dying humanity.

Once again, Arkan began to feel alone.

Sadow glared at Zerxes, as the proud young sith bowed in respect.

Rise my friend.........I sense a great disturbance in the force, onw which I am unable to pinpoint. It centers on Lord Chaos's mission. I want you to go along to ONderon. You will lead the attack force which will overtake Dxun, the demon moon. But be wary, the place is sacred and important to my father Diete Somir III. Preserve it at all cost! Now hurry for the darkside is telling me that time is against us.

Making his way past the loyal sith disciple, the Dark lord moved quickly to his personal ship, the Shadow Watcher, nodding to the royal guards who protected it.

No one is to know that I left and those who are to inquisitive....Kill them.

The jedi master looked warmly at the young padawan, proud at his inate ability to sense the thoughts of others. Placing his firm hand on the younger man, he allowed his rich voice to wash over him, soothing his anxiety and strengthening his resolve.

We shall be patient young justin. As jedi we must not allow the future to cloud our interpretation of the present.

Allowin the gravity of the situation to seep into his voice, he made his intentions clear.

Onderon is a dangerous place, filled with beasts and wild tribesman, who only think of survival. We must be cautious but make haste in reaching the rendevous point to meet Master Skywalker and Padawan Bywater. Remember, do not attack unless you have exhausted all other options. We are protectors of the light, even if it demands we sacrifice our own lives. Let us move, it is getting dark.

above Onderon-

After a few minutes Lily could see Onderon. She watched as they aproched the planet. She looked down at the land below as Rhianna began the landing. She still felt uneasy about this mission and she was beganing to wonder if it was just her or something else.

IC:
Luis nodded as the rest of his team assemlbed in the pipe. With a 'follow me' hand gesture, he began to crawl along the pipe, trying to be as quiet as possible. The inside of the pipe was dry and dusty, probably a ventilation shaft for the whole factory, a strange smell invaded his nostrils, whatever they made here was certainly high in chemicals. He paused as they arrived at a doward facing ventilation grate in the dark pipe. He looked down, it was quite a drop. Guards patrolled underneath them, unaware of what lay in wait above them. He nodded to each member of his team and whispered:

"Here we are folks. When we drop down, take out as much machinery as possible using whatever you want, but use your common sense, don't rupture things that say 'flammable' or 'highly toxic'. We don't want any Jedi casualties. As for the guards, if they give us any resistance, feel free to dispatch them...If a sith shows up...protect the Padawans"

Finding he had no more to say, with a little help from the force, kicked the grate off the pipe, it clattered to the floor below them. He jumped down, using the force as a parachute and landed safely, his lightsaber ignited. A guard rushed to blast him, Luis pun swiftly and cut the barrel of the blaster off and kneed the guard in the stomach, then elbowed him in the face.

"Lets go!"

He shouted up to the pipe. He took a second to look around the facility, it was HUGE, filled with gigantic machinery and it teemed with several dozen guards. A handful of guards who were originally on patrol ran to confront the Jedi as he stood in front of a computer panel. He smiled and slashed it, causing it to fizzle and blow up. The guards all had their blaster rifles ready and opened fire. Brining his saber up and over, he deflected the bolts with lightning speed, reflecting a few back to their firers, cutting them down.

Justin listened to Odon's words. Odon was a great Jedi Master, and very wise and very well trained in the Force. Justin knew that he should not fear meeting anything, because he knew the Force, his ally, was with him.

"Yes, Master Baas."

Justin replied to Odon's remarks. He continued to walk further into the jungle, letting the Force flow through him and keep him calm.

Dirk crept alone behind the others and waited as Luis' gave the final instructions. After everyone else was through, Dirk lept down, landing with his legs around a guards throat. Changing his momentum quickly, he rolled backwards, snapping the guard's neck and rose with the black blade of his lightsaber ingnited.

Calmly he moved into the line of guards rushing over to the comotion, deflecting their bolts and then dropping them with whirlwind slashes. Dirk fought hard to keep the peace of the force in him, and beat down the bloodlust that he always felt in combat.

Rushing up towards Luis, he noted a new guard arriving on scene. The man raised his blaster towards Luis, but Dirk reached out with the force and pushed his hand up even as the bolt was fired. Speeding up he removed the man's head with his blade.

Dirk smiled as he ran by Luis, "It seems we've gotten their attention, master..."

Zerxes nodded as Master Sadow left.

"It shall be so."

He quickly ran through the ship to the main hangar bay. Max Chaos and his people were boarding their ship. Zerxes ran up the ramp just in time. He bowed the Master Chaos.

"The Dark Lord has requested that I accompany you, Master Chaos. I am to protect Dxun."
