Hyperdrives are an ancient technology of forgotten origin, some scholars claim that the technology arose from an alien race trading through the galaxy thousands of years ago but to be honest, no-one knows for sure and so much time has past that it is unlikely that anyone will now be able to reveal the truth.
Hyperdrives are engines that are capable of propelling starhsips many times faster than lightspeed but only through a dimension known as Hyperspace. This strange dimension runs in parallel to the main universe and is so close that objects large enough project what is know as 'mass shadows' into this strange realm, collision with these shadows is as lethal as collision with the real things and accidents in hyperspace are not uncommon, especially among ships that have been damaged in battle.
Many advances over the years have made travelling though hyperspace much safer, more powerful navigation computers are able to compute and store the motion and location of trillions of possible hazards and plot safe courses around them. Although this has helped reduce the number of accidents by a great deal, hyper mass detectors aboard ships have helped even further, they are capable of detecting mass shadows from great distances automatically dropping a vessel out of hyperspace in time to avoid the object. The speed at which ships travel in hyperspace is so great however that by the time the ship has 'dropped' into realspace, it is often a near miss affair.
The Yevetha began their space travel history without this ingenious invention.They used their unarmed spherical thrustships to colonize eleven other worlds.It took these non-hyperdrive equipped vessels years to arrive at their dstinations.They carried a large cargo of prefabricated buildings and structures.
It was a hard begining,some might even say it was a sad and pathetic one.But the Yevetha hadn't had the benefit of advanced technology.

Star Destroyer.
These are examples of Advanced Technology.The Empire had a 'knack' for this kind of thing.They were always looking to expand their power.They were always bulding superweapons,such as the Death Star,Sun Crusher,Eclipse-class Star Destroyer,and Galaxy Gun.
The Empire and Emperor was never one for subtley, everything they built they wanted to have maximum efectiveness.They wanted to inspire fear in everything they built.But a Rebellion consumed them.The former Empire is gone, but the planets,technology, and weaponry that made it up were still out there.
Waiting for someone to take it.
But the weapons that made him so very powerful were still there.And if someone was smart enough,they would claim it.

"Welcome to N'zoth Ambassador"

Jian watched as his soon drove up in a landspeeder with the hooded form beside him.The shadowy hooded figure was an enigma to Jian.He had simply came to him via holo and asked if he could see the Viceroy.Jian had just goten back from the Tholaz conquest and wanted to rest.The hooded figure acknowledged this and explained that if he were allowed several minutes of Jian's time it would be wothwhile.Jian sighed as he thought of just how worthwhile it would probably turn out to be.
The landspeeder pulled to a stop right in front of Jian and Mase and Hood got out.Jian put on his 'diplomatic face' and walked up to shake hands woth Hood.It was a human guesture put Jian secretly suspected Hood was human.
"This way please"
Jian led Hood into his palace.Mase slowed and dissapeared at one point,Jian wasn't sure when.Finally they got to Jian's office and they sat down on a conform couch.
"Please tell me what brings you to N'zoth"
"Have you ever heared of the planet Byss?"
Jian's mood instantly darkened.Byss was the throneworld of the Clone's of Palpatine,ruler of the Empire.And he had a long memory of what the empire had done to his people.
"Yes I have" he said in a neutral tone.
Hood nodded.
"Well, then I assume you know it's history." Hodd asked.
"Byss is a planet that borders aour own.I take special notice of all border planets, especialy Imperial ones"
"Ahh good.Well I have come here to tell you of some interesting things regarding the planet."
"What things?"
"For one thing, a disturbing rumor that the late Emporer Palpatine may have another clone"
Jian froze.This most certainly was interesting news.If Palpatine was alive yet again he would have to do somthing.Hood seemed to pick up on his generall line of thoughts.
"Yes, we may be on the verge of another war that he may start"
Jian nodded.
"And how did you come about this information?"
"I have my sources, Viceroy Paret, just as you do"
"Interesting.I would like to meet these sources sometime"

Jian watched the landspeeder grow smaller and smaller as it got further away.Hood had told him many disturbing things.Jian wasn't sure how to go about this.It could prove to be a bad thing.

"Just tell me how the repairs on the Glory of Yevetha are going"
"Well we have replaced all burnt out wires and circiuts.We have replaced the destroyed hull and repaired all the weapons"

"Very well.If my ship is not done in three days you better pray your dead"

Two bored Yevethan Technicians sat inside the cramped control center of Recon Station 00133245.
As they satdoing continuous scans of the regions surrounding the N'zoth system,one of the control panels for the longest sensor probes began bleeping wildly.The two startled Techs rushed over to it and stared in disbelief.
Something big was on it's way to the N'zoth System.

"What did you say?"
"You heared me correctly sir: an Eclipse-class Super Star Destroyer is currently inbound to N'zoth."
"Thank you, Paret out"
Jian switched the holoprojector to the Commander of the N'zoth Sector Fleet.
"Scramble everything we have.I don't want it anywhere near N'zoth."
"Yes sir"
Jian got up quickly and ran to the landing pad.
N'zoth System-outer space
The N'zoth Sector Fleet scrambled instantly.The huge monstrosity exited hyperspace just outside of the N'zoth system.
The Sector FLeet was waiting.
On the Sector Fleet command ship, the ISD Steadfast the holoprojector suddenly came to life.
"To the Commander of the Yevethan Armada,I am Captain Hawk.And I bring you a gift from the Former Regent of the New Alliance."
The Yevethan Commander steped foraward.
"What is this gift you bring us?"
"Why, it's this Eclipse Super Star Destroyer"

"They are giving us the Eclipse?"
"That is what they said.It is a gift from Logan for our assitance at Sactitan"
"Ah I see....put me in contact with the leader of the Eclipse."

Byss was a planet that was formerly located in the Deep Galactic Core, and the destroyed planet is all that is left of Emperor Palpatine's Private World. The planet was only accessible through certian encoded routes because of the diffculty of navigating through the dense mass of stats. Byss was a plesant world of plateaus and canyons, and the planet was seldom bothered by storms, groundquakes, or other violent phenomena, many diffrent types of microscopic life were found in the lakes and rivers and they were nourished by tge blue-green sun. Durring Emperor Palaptine's rule over the galaxy he chose Byss as a place for his private retreat, and Imperial Engineers and Architects were commissioned to build him an opulate palace.
Several million humans were lured per month to Byss by rumors of a pardise planet, and were allowed to emigrate to Byss. The Emperor and his dark-side Adepts began feeding off the inhabitants life-energies. Byss population reached almost 20 million, and every out going communication was censored by security agents, the planet was also guarded against attack by powerful shield generators, hunter killer-probots, and the Imperial Hyperspace Security Net, there were also orbital dry docks for the massive World Devastators and later the Galaxy Gun. The Imperial Control Sector covered most of one of the continents, and Emperor Palpatine's Imperial Citadel was at the center of it, and this vast complex held contained gardens, museums, the Emperor's Clone Labs, barracks for Imperial Troops, and fully equipped dungeon's that were guarded by advanced turbolasers, and dangerous monsters called Chrysalides or Chrysalis Beasts.
The Cloned Emperor sent the World Devastators to the water world of Mon Calamari to destroy it from Byss, and to also capture Luke Skywalker. Luke was brought before the Emperor and he decided to try a risky strategy and become the Emperor's dark servant, and Leia sensed her brother's danger and convinced Han Solo to mount a rescue opperation. Later Palpatine was defeted at the Pinnacle Moon, and even though he was destroyed the Emperor took a new clone body and struck the New Republic with a new weapon the Galaxy Gun.
The New Republic came up with a plan, were they captured a shippment of new X-1 Viper battle droids, on its way to Byss, and they rode in the freighter to its destination. Once the freighter arrived Lando Calrissian and his troops wheeled out in the armored droids in a do-or-die attempt to capture the Imperial Citadel. After the battle Lando and everyone boarded the Emperor's new flagship the Eclipse II, and R2-D2 sent the ship on a hyperspace course that would sent it ramming into the Galaxy Gun. When the Eclipse rammed the Galaxy Gun, the Gun mistakenly fired one of its missles straight into Byss core, and the projectile set off an unstoppable nucleonic chain reaction, and within moments the Emperor's throne world was destroyed.
