The Jedi Knight Kahn had been feeling something familiar in the Force lately, yet it was elusive, something he couldn't put his finger on. He walked through a small forest, listening to nature, hoping it would help him find peace and find the source of the disturbance. It was early in the morning, and the sun was just rising over the horizon. His saber was clipped to his belt as always, though he had not had to use it much since being Knighted. Kahn was grateful for that, though if what Gash had spoken of was true, there would be plenty of opportunities when he would be forced to fight in the future.

*The wind kicked up. The leaves in the trees rustled as Kahn worked, his hair was blown slightly. A small group of leaves flew near Kahn in the wind. As it passed through him, it almost seemed like a small, soft whisper was spoken..*

"Neeever forget who you are.."

Kahn shivered slightly, even though it wasn't cold out. Something wasn't right in the forest. He kept going, deeper into the wooded area.

*The trees rustled slightly louder as the wind picked up.. one could here it whistling. More leaves and some twigs flew by, carried by the wind. Kahn once again heard something.. this time, more clearly*

"Life is precious.. but shorter for some..."

For some reason, Kahn's hand found the hilt of his saber for a moment before he mentally shook himself. It was just the wind, and it was just his imagination that was making him hear things......wasn't it?

*There was a stream nearby. Kahn decided to go there and relax, to clear his mind.*

*When he arrived, he peered down into the water. But it was not his reflection he saw; rather, an older reflection of himself; he was younger, wearing black robes, with an evil look on his face. Kahn blinked and shook his head.. he looked back, and the reflection was normal.*

Kahn looked away from the stream for a moment, then back into it. He knew better than to run from his past, and that reflection had definately been from his past. It was himself as a Sith, still in the Dark. But that as over now, now he was on the right path. Why would he have seen that reflection? He hadn't even been thinking of his time as a Sith, so it couldn't have been his imagination. It had to be something else.

*In the water, he saw movement behind him.. a figure in a dark cloak appeared, wielding a dagger..*

"It is now your time, Kahn." *was heard behind him*

*Kahn saw the dagger move up, as if it were to strike the back of his neck. Kahn spun around and activated his lightsaber.. but nobody was there.*

Kahn didn't know what was going on, but he kept his saber on a moment longer, in a defensive position, before retracting the beam of light. The voice definately sounded familiar now, but he couldn't put his finger on the source. What was going on?

*The wind that was blowing was obviously the start of a storm; the unnoticed black clouds above shot down a might lightning bolt, hitting a tree and setting it a flame. Kahn jumped back, as it was mere feet away from him. The tree suddenelly fell into the water, and a large smoke cloud arose.*

*Kahn began coughing, and was about to use the Force to get out when the dark, cloaked figure apperead in it.*

Kahn, you have comitted the most evil of deeds. You have betrayed the dark side, the Sith. You have betrayed all you once stood for. Do you deny it?
