A New Jedi Knight,Wade Vox walked through the Jedi Temple as if he had never been there before. He had heard of the Rogue Jedi Order and the breakaways of many Jedi Padawans and Knights. The Jedi's numbers were dwindling and they couldn't do a single thing about it.He reached out with the Force and wraped it around himself like a blanket.
He continued on his way.......

Leia's gaze on Amalia did not waiver.

"It is a simple question of ethics, Amalia. You are not required to make a decision yourself until you know all of the details. I am willing to sit here and give you every single one of them, if it takes all day. And as Kahn has demonstrated, he is willing to as well.

We have no choice. There is no other way. You have to know to continue on here, you may as well know now, and help now"

Adrian sat solitarily in a remote corner of the Jedi Academy’s Training Grounds, meditating in a state of peace. It had been a few days since the Council meeting that had effectively ripped the Jedi in two. Many painful decisions had been made that day, he knew, and he was sorry to have seen some of his fellow Padawan’s leave the Council.

Meditating alone, however, he only just realised how quiet it was at the Academy, since he had decided to stay.

Amalia stood there, contemplating on just what to do. This was a very serious matter. Words were something Amalia valued, very strongly in fact, but she also valued the proper representation and use for words. She always made sure she had something to back up her words with. She had never defied Leia before, or at least it wasn't like her to do so.

"It does not matter if you give me the details now or later. I was not here. Words mean a great deal to me, just as I'm sure they mean a great deal to you. I would not and do not have the proper cause to speak them."

She could not make the two Jedi within the room understand nor did she know how to. All she knew is that her lack of participation would be noted to whomever she addressed this issue to. Her words would not mean as much because she was not around, but for those who had been there for the meeting, well, their words would be valued more, they would have a stronger impact. She wondered if the two Jedi before her now could see that or if it hadn't even crossed their mind's as it had Amalia's mind.

She looked at Leia with uneasiness.

"I'm sorry, but it just doesn't seem right."

Leia frowned as she turned to deep contemplation.

"In ways I understand, but in others, as is the basic human nature, I don't.

Unfortunately the situation that now dominates this order will eventually Force you to get involved, even if you would decide to leave again, because it questions the very basics, the Code, the ethics of the Jedi mission and purpose. As Gash told me not very long ago at all, there is no middle here, and you can't make one."

Leia nodded to Amalia.

"Do as you feel you must, but please take into mind the sense of impending urgency I am attempting to make clear. This is not a matter to be taken lightly, even by a raw Jedi recuit who just arrived five minutes ago, he will have to make a quick stance, which you won't find difficult at all, very quickly"

Amalia looked straight at Leia, she said nothing out loud, the simple words she spoke now were meant for Leia and her alone.

You doubt me...questioning my stay here. I left once, and I was..alone. That's..not where I wish to be. I came back because I wished to return, my return is a difficult one. At the moment, my words are all I have. My presence is not felt as it should because it has been elsewhere. What good are words if there is no presence to identify them with? Do you think your brother deserves to hear my words, words, in a sense, will come from a stranger. A stranger that has no right to speak her words because her presence was not felt in that very meeting room...

There was no middle, she either would do it or she wouldn't. She closed her eyes for a moment, concentrating upon the force, something that had guided her in her many times of need. The force was not something that she relied upon all the time, but in this instance, she wanted it there. Though it wasn't there. She opened her eyes, looking down at her feet.

Her words were important but so were her feelings. Feelings that she would now have to put aside, not something Amalia found very easy to do. Her face returned to look at Leia.

My feelings...I wish to put them aside on this matter and do what you ask of me, but do know, that it was not an easy choice to make. You have never led me upon the wrong path, and if you feel that my words will be of some use as you say they will, then...you may have my words...or Luke may have my words, rather.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Strolling in aimless as she is, Yogie wonders at the great hall and all these Jedi. Turning she gasps at all the marvels and almost trips over her feet when she sees Master jahn in one corner, doing...something. Quickly she strides over as stealthily as she can manage, and positions herslef at her Master's left side, smiling sheepishly<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
