A Call for help...(Kessel Shipyard)(CLOSED)
  • Posted On: Jan 10 2002 8:09am
The planet Kessel. Despite the war occurring not far away at the MCF homeworld of Mon Calamari, there was peace here. To be sure, forces were at a high alert, but so far there was no sign of trouble. Things were oddly calm.

Approximately 4 kilometers away from the shipyard, a mid-sized vessel exited hyperspace. The ship was a battle-scarred Galofree Medium Transport, it's hull covered in laser burns, it's shields non-existent. Sensor scans of its performance hinted that the Freighter's stabilizers were failing, and it could barely hold a straight course as it moved into the system. From within, a distress call was sent to the station. "Kessel Station #1, this is independent trader 'Patience' transmitting a distress call. We were attacked by pirates and barely escaped with our lives. Our ship is heavily damaged. As acting captain, I'd like to formally request your assistance. Please allow us to repair here, another hyperspace jump or venture into atmosphere will tear the ship apart."

The hologram that came over the shipyards projector showed the bridge of the Galofree in shambles. A young human in a torn and bloody uniform lean heavily on the command chair as he pleaded for help, the Captain's body stretched lifeless on the floor next to him as other crewmen scrambled to keep the ship under control. "Kessel Station, will you help us," he asked with a wince of pain. A stain on his uniform clearly showed the young man had compound fractures of at least three ribs. He wouldn't make it much longer without medical attention. In the background of the holo, others were in similar stated of health as they valiantly fought fires and their unresponsive instrument panels.

In the Kessel Station, an argument raged between the civilian who ran the shipyard and it's military supervisor. Like any military man, the supervisor was deadset against anyone coming aboard the station, even people who obviously needed as much help as the men and women on the 'Patience'. The civilian however, was having an attack of pity, and insisted on them being brought aboard. After an argument which spanned several minutes, the civilian finally won out as the acting captain of the freighter collapsed before them on the hologram. A slight woman moved to take over the communications, her uniform holding only lieutenants bars. In the back of the room, the Mon Cal supervisor fumed as the Galofree was given permission to dock. He was not happy at all about this, but the civilian in charge of the station had powerful connections, and he was sure his career would end if he had continue to argue with him.

Struggling all the way, the battered transport finally docked with the shipyard. As soon as the docking seal was complete, the injured began coming off. Some of them were carried by those lucky enough to be unhurt, others brought into the station by the walking wounded. A tall Gand walked out, carrying the human who had sent the distress call. As he walked with another injured crewman over his shoulder, a station guard motioned him towards the medical facilities. Without a second glance, the Gand dropped his human cargo and savagely struck the guard, crushing his fishlike skull. Both of the "injured" crewmen landed on their feet, weapons in hand. Around the corridors all the way to the sickbay, similar events occurred, a full two dozen shipyard personnel dropping in seconds. But twenty-four wasn't a drop in the bucket regarding how many crew the 40,000 meter facility held. Speaking into a small insignia on his lapel, the Gand gave commands. "Alpha team, with me to the command center. Beta, secure the hangers," as the troops jumped at his orders, he relayed a message to the Galofree. "Patient Fury, the Phantom's are aboard. Stage one is complete, begin Stage Two."

Before the real ships crew had responded, the Phantom teams were moving. Plans for the station came up on each squads datapads when called, Intel on this mission had been collected weeks ago, and revised up to an hour before. The two teams made their way to their objectives, disabling anyone who stood in their way. The first to reach their goal was Beta squad. The twelve man team stormed the hanger in text book fashion, taking the controls and stationing heavy weapons in all the entrances. Two team members began looking over the fighters held within. A technical expert got into the ships computer and after a short battle with the automated internal security systems, overrode the controls the shipyards command center had over the Hanger.

Meanwhile, the Galofree also jumped into action. Immediately detaching from the shipyard, the program faking it's performance as that of a heavily damaged ship was shut down. Hidden emplacements over the length of the 200 meter long ship opened revealing weaponry far beyond the Galofree's norm. Likewise, the ships largest modification was also made known. A huge door opened in the ship, and the ships within blasted out into space, the freighters shields going up as soon as they were gone. In all, 2 X-wings, a YT-1300, and a Sentinel Shuttle launched from the modified Galofree. The X-wings took point, their pilots keeping them close to the shipyard to take out any weaponry it might have. The YT-1300 and the Sentinel made their way towards the half completed MC200 that the shipyard was building.

Finally, Alpha team made it to the stations command center. They had a much tougher time, traveling the farther distance gave the guards they came across more time to fortify their positions. Thankfully everyone in the team was trained in medical care, for several of them were wounded, a couple badly. But they would not be stopped. Finally arriving outside the command room, the Gand spoke into his comlink again. "Fury, report to command. We're on schedule to take the station. The Hanger is secure, and we're moving on the control center. Begin stage three immediately. Phantom's out."

Ship Manifest:

Heavily Modified Galofree Medium Transport
YT-1300
Sentinal Shuttle
2 X-wings

EDIT: You'll notice I've destroyed nothing yet, simply killed some guards and captured a portion of the shipyard. I certainly don't see how that would break any rules, I made sure to stop the post before anything was destroyed or the shipyard even taken.

OOC: Well, since I've waited over 15 hours to no response, I think it's time to continue. I'd certainly think enough time to actually perform the mission is enough to allow for response time.

IC: After a few hours of combat, the corridors and rooms surrounding the shipyards control center had been cleared of all opposition. The rooms blast doors however had been closed, and the command crew and this sections remaining guards had fortified themselves inside. Amongst Alpha Squad, medics treated the injuries the team had sustained, trying to get everyone back up to battle readiness. Meanwhile, thier Gand leader was busy rigging the door. Shaped Semtex charges of his own make lay at his feet while he prepped the door. To do so, he reached behind his back, pulling out a metel cylinder. After igniting the sabre's blue blade, the insect-like commando slowly began cutting into the doors, making spaces along the outside for his charges. The lightsaber was one of two he'd captured in battle against dark jedi. This was the one he was proudest of, defeating the jedi with his bare hands after a single blaster shot(true story for my character, ask if you want details).

Beta Squad was still in the Hangers. The fighters there had been fully inspected, and Beta lead was pleased to see that the Mon Calamari's kept thier ships in excellent condition. The hanger held two squadrons of fighters, X-wings and B-wings. They would make a fine addition to the Phantom's arsenal. He radioed Phantom leader. "The fighters are clean and in fine shape. Beta awaits your arrival." After recieving a status report from Alpha, Beta returned to thier vigil. They had to be careful, there were still guards and other shipyard personnel roaming around that could cause trouble. Three times already small groups of them had attempted escape by assaulting the Hanger. Thankfully, the fortifications the team had set up helped them so that only minor injuries were suffered by the defenders.

Outside the station, the "Patient Fury" hung in space, ready for any external resistance the shipyard might put up. At any sign of hostilities, the heavily modified Galofree could eliminate any remaining weapons on the station. Not far away at the half-completed MC200, both the YT-1300 and Sentinal shuttle had gone aboard the ship, the soldiers there wearing space armor due to the many places aboard the ship that did not yet have life support. These teams combed the ship, following life scanners from the Fury, clearing any technicians or other personnel they came across. Any prisoners were loaded into escape pods and launched away from the area. A few of those inside these pods tried needlessly to crash themselves into the Phantom ships, and were disabled by the Galofree's ion cannons(one of many modifications).

Back with Alpha squad, Phantom Lead(the Gand) finish his rigging of the door. Waving the rest of the team back, he motioned to two others, who carried forward a tank of stun gas. Once again using the blue-bladed lightsaber, the Gand drilled a hole in the door, taking several minutes due to the thinkness. Giving the hot metal time to cool, he reported in. "Fury, this is Phantom Lead, we're taking the control room. ETA on our part of stage three, 10 minutes." Again he recieved status reports, the hanger was still secure, and the MC200 was nearly cleared as well.

Now with the metal cooled down, the two squad members he'd called over inserted a hose into the hole that had just been drilled and began pumping the gas into the room. After fifteen minutes, the pump was shut down, the hose removed, and a plug pressed into the hole. The two carried off the tank to where the rest of the team was under cover. From another location, the Gand huddled with the intrusion team, the Semtex detonator in his hand. "Alpha Lead to Alpha, blowing the door now. Intrusion team enter with me, the rest of you are backup." Phantom Leader waited a moment for his intrusion team members, a Nogori and a Defel to pull on thier breath masks, then pressed down on the button.

BOOM!!! The corridors thundered with the sound of the charges. Dispite the sound, the real damage done was very little. The shaped charges had cut neatly into the doors, which fell as the Gand and the intrusion team charged forward. In synch, they all threw two stun grenades, then went for thier regular weapons. The Defel drew two heavy blasters, the Nogori his daggers. The Gand on the other hand, ran in unarmed, his black cloak billowing around him.

The grenades went off, and the three aliens ran into the control room. They hadn't gone three steps before they had to step over unconcious bodies, and not enough before they were under fire. As expected, several crewmen had made thier way to similar breath masks as the intrusion team, and had been under cover when the stun grenades went off. Immediately the battle began. Instantly the Defel dissapeared into the shadows, the only sign of his presence being when he fired his pistols before moving again. The Nogori similarily dissapeared, his daggers would end up taking a toll on the combatants. Phantom Leader on the other hand, simply stoodin the middle of the room and took on all who would face him. He had downed three crew members when a blaster bolt struck him in the arm. He winced, and looked to his assailant. It was the military supervisor, brandishing a heavy blaster of Mon Calamari design.

With his good arm, he waved the Mon Cal on, in a straight fight. The fishman took the challange, diving at the insectiod. The Gand quickly learned to respect the officer, who had obviously trained a long time. They were nearly matched, until the Mon Cal finally gained the upper hand from an outsider. The civilian running the shipyard had awoken as the gas cleared the room, and grabbed Phantom Leader's carapaced leg. He tumbled, and the Mon Cal officer stood over him, blaster in hand once again, ready to finish him. The Mon Cal's webbed hand began to tighten on the trigger, and a blaster shot rang out.

His fishman opponent's head shot back, taking a blaster bolt to the face. The bolt came from the doorway, where the Gand looked after disabling the civilian supervisor. In the doorway stood the young human who had been in the distress call. In his hands he held an Imperial Mark IV blast rifle. Chuckling, Phantom Leader shook his hand and spoke. "Borland, you sure waited long enough to help out. Nice shot as usual though. Alpha Squad, get back to work."

The other eight team members moved into the command center, some tying up unconcious crew members, others moving to thier specialties. The teams technical expert approached the computer along with Phantom Leader. It had been locked down, but the techie had been breaking into computers since he was eight. The security measures on the shipyard held him for a few moments, then one of his favorite tricks broke through and into the main systems. Immediately he began downloading all the plans held in this shipyard(I'd say whatever the MCF/NA has built here) taking special care in the MC200 plans, those would be useful sooner.

Beside him, Phantom Leader began prepping for the release of the Mon Calamari ship. Looking out the viewport, he was pleased to see that they were exactly on schedule as several tugs exited hyperspace and began moving towards the MC200. Around the control room, all surviving station crew members were taken to escape pods, and treated to the same trip as thier co-workers aboard the MC200. Finally, as the tugs began attaching thier lines to the Mon Cal vessel, Alpha squad moved out.

They faced a few skirmishes on the way to the hangers. Likewise, they ended up flanking an attack against Beta squad as they arrived, defeating an especially organized group of guards and station workers. With a nod, the security points set by Beta squad broke down, and both groups jumped into fighters. Alpha loaded into the X-wings, Beta into the B-wings. Before leaving, Alpha Leader and Beta Leader made a short trip from the hangers, the Gand leaving one last present in addition to ones Beta had laid when not under attack. This completed, they jumped into the last fighters, and rocketed out into space.

As the MC200 moved away from the shipyard, Alpha squad flew cover for it and the tugs. Meanwhile, Beta went after the other two shipyards in orbit, currently still under construction. Proton torpedos made short work of the unfinished stations, with the Fury looking over them to make sure they were scrapped. As the Mon Cal ship slowly made its way out of the system, Phantom leader pulled the detonator from his pocket again. Switching the frequencies he used before, he pressed the button again, and fireball erupted from Kessel Shipyard #1. Exsplosions continued to rock the station, consuming it slowly as escape pods shot away with the remaining crew. The Fury stayed a moment before leaving, and in one last check, looked over the destruction the Phantoms had caused. One complete shipyard destroyed, two in-construction along with it. A half-complete MC200 captured, along with a squadron of X-wings, and another of B-wings.

Manifest:

Heavily modified Galofree Transport
Modified YT-1300
Sentinal Shuttle
2 X-wings
4 squads of commandos(Alpha, Beta, 2 on the MC200)

MCF losses:

1 complete shipyard
2 U/C shipyards
1 U/C shipyards
12 X-wings
12 B-wings.

OOC: By the time this post was finished, it had been 18 hours since my original one. The mission would have taken far less in real time, so I think the time allowed for a response is correct.
  • Posted On: Jan 11 2002 2:03am
OOC: unfortunatly you cannot make a completed action such as this without a group response. And there can only be 3 SY-s at a planet. Three need more then one post to sabatage and destroy a ship yard. Applys to ships and applys to locations as well. With out that it is a mere story and not a RP becuase no one made any real judgements on what to do in response.
  • Posted On: Jan 11 2002 2:49am
OOC: I gave more than enough time for a response. As I said, there was 18 hours between posts. I can't help it if nobody checks up on these things. I did everything but post on thier board to tell the MCF. I almost did that too, by the way. Another note, I only said there were 3 shipyards, one completed, 2 under construction. I don't think I mistated myself, but if I did, my apologies.

Next note, I didn't sabatoge the shipyard, I simply laid demolitions charges. If you like, I can edit it to where it was only partially destroyed by that blast. Either way it would be gone as my ships would have finished it off with torps and cannons. Last point, I captured the ships over two posts. I sent the YT-1300 and the Sentinal after the MC200 in the first post, and cleared it in the second. As for the fighters, the first post secured the hanger and inspected them. The second was the true capturing.

As for "making judgements on how to respond", this was intentionally a situation where a planned response couldn't be made, the MCF would simply have to act. It's realistic. An attack like this wouldn't have a planned response immediately. Think of it realistically. Someone attacks you, your response is defensive along preplanned actions. Every country in the world has the "file cabinet full of contingency plans." Another point of realism in my posts. I struck here at Kessel for a reason. It's common knowledge that both Defender and Kessel Assault Fleet are away fighting at Mon Calamari. I struck knowning defenses would be minimal. Everything in my post is pretty realistic. I worked the Intelligence on this job for several days, going over again and again just what to expect in defensive measures. I modified my teams to account for that. I created a cover story likely to work to achieve my goal. Had it not of worked I would have moved on to my CONTINGENCY PLANS. That's the way things work in a good unit Vonta. Something goes wrong, the move along to Plan B, C, whatever's needed.

Once again, I also waited longer than it would have actually taken to complete it if it were a real mission before I even began posting again, and even then took my sweet time(3 hours) to give some extra leeway time. As for contingency plans again, I knew exactly how I would react in any of a dozen responses the MCF or thier allies might have. Again, on the intelligence angles. I've been observing how things work here in TRF for a while now. What I saw in my observation I used in planning. One thing I've seen in this. Whenever anyone has the chance, they jump into a fight with everything they've got. That's exactly what put the MCF in the position to be attacked like this, they moved both thier fleets away from the shipyards. I took advantage of thier strategic mistake, and it payed off.

Your post mostly seems to be that of one trying to explain how I "broke the rules" in doing what I did and hurting an ally of yours. Well, lets see. Let me list how I followed them...

The Big Three
No killing unless both chracters agree to it.
No maiming.
SW Universe Only.

All those are followed. As far as I knew, there were no Players aboard any of those ships, and even if there were, I gave more than enough opportunities for survival(escape pods, ect.)

Battle Rules
You must allow the enemy time to reply

I gave them 18 hours. I'm sorry if they couldn't check for one reason or another, but that's reality. The enemy always attacks when you least expect it.

You must damage ships over several post (Side note : To make things more realitic if you have a ship like a super star destoryer against a gunship then you can destory the gunship in like two posts, the ships shields, hull and weapons will detemen how long it take to destory a ship but it must be reasonable.)

I didn't destroy any ships, just the stations. Even if you consider the shipyards under the ship rules, I would certainly hope that internal exsplosions plus external attack(what I would have done if this is contested) would take out a shipyard. They're big yes, but they're not warships.

Opponents in battle should respond within 72 hours, or forfeit.

N/A

You must first post "Charging superlaser" in one post and the next post you may fire. You must give the enemy time to respond

N/A

Fighters may be destoryed in one post if done by a ship larger then 4 km

No fighters destroyed

Fighters in dogfights with other fighters much be destoryed over 5 posts

No fighters destroyed

Flagships and fighter with charachers flying or on them can only be disabled not destoryed

No characters present, and time allowed for escape. If "somehow" a character appears on the shipyard, then consider it blasted beyond use, but undestroyed.

Sun Crushers are banned

Ship Takeover Rule

Ship takeover must consist of 1,500 words- and when taking a ship from another faction, failure must be a distinct possibility

Failure was a distinct possibility, though much more of one if anyone would have responded. I posted several attacks and woundings against both Alpha and Beta teams. Attacks against Beta insert the possibility of failure for the fighters capture, and attacks against Alpha insert the possibility of failure in the capture of the MC200, due to part of thier being the release of the ship from it's dock in the shipyard.

I believe that is all the applicable rules, if you think differently, please feel free to post an explanation of why. In addition, my first post was a 1000 words even, the second over 1533, all of those in character. That totals to over 2500, more than enough for the actions within. One last thing, I'd also be more than happy to speak to the Admins/Moderators. What I've posted is good RP, with a lot of thought as to not breaking the rules they've set forth.

ooc: there is no ships at kessel untill now. You need to leave 72 hours for us to respond=three days. What group are you from? i'm just wondering. The MC200 you took out is still fine you have to give me time to respond.
ic:
"Sir we have a recuest for help at Kessel."
"Get the us there now."
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The Kessel Attack Fleet tried to clear the interdiction field. The fighters were successful and they went into hyperspace. The capital ships kept on trying to leave the interdiction field. The fighters came out of hyperspace and started attacking the enemies. The capital ships would come later with the fighters that couldn't get here yet.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> The fighters roared in on the enemy fighters. They qiuckly destroyed the enemy fighters and took down the shields of the sentenial. Then they used each other telemenrty and shoot at the other ships. The shields of the YT-1300 fell as did the shields of the other transport.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

OOC

Snowkan, your forces are trapped at Mon Calamari via interdictor, there is no way the Kessel Attack Fleet could jump in.
  • Posted On: Jan 11 2002 12:33pm
OOC: Your in correct in your reference to the 72 hour rule. The rule in which 72 hours is mentioned is this..."Opponents in battle should respond within 72 hours, or forfeit." This refers to an opponent already engaged in battle, not a time requirement to allow for response. That rule is only this..."You must allow the enemy time to reply." Nowhere there does it describe exactly how long to allow, therefore leaving it up to the poster. As I'll say once again, I allowed almost an entire day to pass, with no sort of response coming. I certainly know someone was looking at the thread, only a third of the viewings at the time of my second post were from me and those I asked to read it. Additionally, you ask for my group affiliations, I have none to give. Joining a group is not a requirement for participation in the RPG. Finally, two, perhaps three items of contest in your response. As Chadd said, Interdictor's held you inside the Mon Calamari system. Kessel was chosen as my final target due to that exact criteria, no fleet presence.

Not too mention this, another thing I've noticed in my observations. I find it odd that hyperjumps in capital sized vessels are oddly instantaneous between systems which in canon, are nowhere near each other. Now, I understand that the galactic map is almost certainly different from any canon maps, but even if Kessel and Mon Calamari were right next to each other on such a map, a capital sized vessel would take far too long to arrive in system for it to make any real difference. If you wish, I could calculate how long such a trip would take, just ask me if you'd like, I'll even give you the equations I use.

Also, you mention no ships in the system, saying my capture of the fighters didn't happen. I added the fighters to try and make the MCF look better. I personally know I wouldn't leave a shipyard utterly without protection, two squadrons of fighters would be the very minimum. I simply found it absurd that anyone would do such a thing like leaving the shipyards unprotected. I'll eliminate the fighters capture if you wish, but it makes no real difference anyway, they were simply icing on the cake. The job can be completed without them.

Finally, the nerve agent you used aboard the shipyard would have killed two characters, myself(the Gand, Alpha/Phantom Leader) and Beta Leader(my XO, who is yet to post due to some internet problems). Similarily, is that nerve agent one which takes effect through inhalation? If so I'd recommend not using it on me, it should have little effect (check X-wing: Wedge's Gamble for a similar occurance). And of course, I think I've already proved I'm not stupid enough to go around w/o biohazard gear. It's common practice amongst military servicemen, why not my team.

I think that covers everything, once again I'd like to say I'd be more than happy to speak to any Mod/Admin to prove my case. Other than that, I'll consider the fighters removed from my captured list. Nothing else should change though, the YT and Sentinal would be used to ferry the Phantoms back to the "Patient Fury". In addition, I'll calculate exactly how long it would take for any of the ships in your fleet to arrive if they were not held in Mon Calamari. But I seriously doubt it makes a difference. I'm sorry to seem like an @$$, but you guys left yourselves open. To tell the truth, I originally had another target in mind, but a last minute change allowed them sufficient defenses. Good luck in the future though.

OOC: Saber strike is a autonomous craft of vontas. It could easiely head this way considering we had bussiness here. Want to destroy a TNA shipyard fine. But you RP past my guards, droids, internal cameras and yard defenses.

Teebo I am sure that you must have some squadrons posted at kessel for it's defense, Hint, hint.

Vonta visits the TNA station to see how ZED 9 is holding out with his new security post. Saber strike is vonta's personal ship.

Nebulon-B Frigate- Saber Strike

Saber Strike Craft

-4 tie defenders
-4 X-wings
-4 phantoms
-1 tie lone scout
-2 tie schimters
-2 B-wings
-4 A-wings
-3 tie droids
Delta Class JV-7 Shuttle
1 troop drop ship
2 yt-1300
1 Lamda- class shuttle

droids- Zed security droid

squad of droid X fighters.
battle droids-24
spy eye droids-36
pilots 12

4 squads of swarm class droid fighters

6 Fidos(look it up it is a security droid)
-Based in secure locations out of the way
15 phase three Dark troopers droids
-In the hanger bay, construction areas, and on patrol
33 phase 1 Dark trooper droids
-on constant patrol
security forces 300 on station.

The Autonamous ZED security droid that had been placed on the TNA shipyard at Kessel. Was makeing his rounds. The security had been beefed up after the recent run ins with the TRE. ZED would have rather been working on a case then watching over a shipyards security.

Vonta had seen to it that he was assigned to this duty. Something about testing out his new autonomous subroutines that she made for him. They allow more leadership ability to a droid. Allowing him to make life and death decisions for those that work under him.

The saber strike was actually due to arrive at any time now. There was a damaged ship that recently came in damage. HE had advised againest taking it into a ship yard on the basis of the fact that it was a tactical risk. But the one of the other Mon cals pulled rank on him becuase he thought other wise.

The ship was on Station. When it opened to armed troops. The Phase three dark trooper responds immediatly. several automated turrets lock on to the intruders fireing on the ship and commados alike. dozens of Guards take up defensive positions around the group surrounding them. The supposedly injured ship shoots out of the hanger expelling 2 support craft and 2 x-wings. They were obviously heading for the Incompleted ship. In another hanger 4 squads of droid swarm class fights exit their bays. The small 2 meter droids were all armed with two laser canons each. They proved small targets as fast as X-wings they would delay the enemy for a while until the MCF could launch their squadrons on station.

Zed warned the Mon-cal. Now he had a mess to clean up. Vonta should arrive any minute from hyper space. These intruders should not get far.

IN station-

There were two groups that split from the original. On was heading for the fighter bays. The other for the command center where ZED 9 was running the defenses of the station. They intended to steal the fighters and take the station. Not on my watch. 3 bridge phase 3 DT droids were sent to cut them off along with 10 phase one droids, and a contiengent of security storm troopers.

The droid X-fighters were still berthed in their hanger. This should prove a surprise for the attackers.

Hanger bay-

Pilots were prepareing for battle rushing to equip them selves for flight. The commandos broke in fireing with out warning. several of the mon-cal pilots went down as well as TNA pilots and personel. The intruders were starting to gain access to the other fighters when the Droid X-fighters droped their cargo. Each fighter carried two battle droid and three spy eye droids armed with light blasters. Tweenty four battle droids came out from under their fighters and thirty six spyeye droids flew at the attackers fireing as they went. The twelve droid x fighters engaed repulsors without the aid of a pilot. The fighters themselves were droids. They turn on their shields makeing them for all sense and purposes impervious to small arms fire. The 12 begin to barrage the commandos with laser canon fire.

OOC: Saber strike enters the fray before you destroy the stations that are U/C. You best defend your self or you well be out a few more ships.

IC:The saber strike came into the system to the call of a emergency. Several ships were attacking the yards. ZED 9 said that they had things under control on the station. The sabatores were trying to place charges on the station. The personel on station had evacuated each and every peice to a secure socation in the hold. The explosives were placed in a Duristell box that was several feet thick. IT faced out into space so any explosion would be redirected there.

Saber strike unloads all fighters at the sign of attack, Vonta leads the X-wing wing her self. A wing of tie phantoms goes to cloak. The Saber strike begins concentrateing fire on the main ship.

there were 2 squads of swarm fighters engaged already. Although they had lost 7 of the droids already. The rest were delaying the X-wings. The 2 B-wings and schimters assisted in the attack on the command ship. fire cuncussion missles and ion fire at the shields weakening some the Ion canons on the B-wings taking many down.

The A-wings were the first to enter the fray with the two lone X-wings. They fly by the two fighters that are already engaged with 2 squads of swarm droids down by 6 after some dog fighting. The X-wings are desperate there are now a squad of defenders, x-wings, and A-wings after them. The Defenders fire every thing. Ion canon, cuncusion missles, and laser canons. The X-wings also let of a salvo of a proton torp a piece, the fighters may dodge some buy they would not be able to dodge them all.
