I watched the original 1968 version the other night, bought it on DVD. Steve McQueen rocks, absolutely rocks. I’ve always liked his shows.

While not the most suspenseful show, in fact, there was very little suspense at all, it was still a clever movie. The game of cat and mouse between Steve and Fay Dunaway could have been better, but oh well.

It’s also rated R, for what reason I cannot fathom. Only hintings at sex, a rather long kiss scene, and a few bank robberies… must be the bank robberies.

For those of you who haven’t seen it, or read the book (written by an ex-bank employee), the plot is as follows. A bank robbery is pulled off in broad daylight, and it is so brilliantly done the cops can’t get a lead anywhere. $2,000,000 is lost. And the guy that did it didn’t need it, he already has 4 mil.

All in all, a good movie to see. Now if I can get my hands on the re-make…

Without commenting on the movie, did you just change the name of this forum so you could talk about movies? Kas, thats an abuse of staff power! :p
