Why the fuck are people from New Zealand called Kiwis? Is it because of the fruit? And in that case.. are you guys green in the middle and furry on the outside and you have little tiny black seeds inside of you?? Just curious...

We are not green in the middle and furry on the outside and we don't have little tiny black seeds inside of me or other Kiwis. Also, there is NZ national flightless bird is called the Kiwi as well. Kiwifruit isn't a native fruit in my country, it was originally from China. Which the proper name of it is Chinese Gooseberry but I don't know why it was called gooseberry. Kiwis is more of a slang world for those are New Zealanders. Its like Yankees for those people are Americans.

So do you go visit the abandoned sets from LOTR?

I'm pretty sure they tore most of them down. But my dad did some work on the new King Kong set, if that's any consolation.

Also; kiwifruit, kiwi, kiwi molestation, and RNZAF patch.

And to get back on topic for a second, I bought Pipeline Under the Ocean yesterday. To put it simply, if this is not forever remembered as the greatest NZ rock album of 2005, I will shoot myself.

I haven't been to the places where they shot LOTR that I don't have the time. I never heard much of NZ rock albums I am mostly into bands like shihad, nesian mystic, scribe and p money.

Kiwi molestation?

Don't even want to know what that one's about...

And yes, they did tear down the LotR sets. Stupid, really. I'm sure they would have been pretty big tourist attractions...

I wonder about if the hobbit houses are there or not? It would be cool tho it's on a farmer's farm.
