Yea, Smith torched the Bears today... I don't know what happened there. The best defense in the league really let them down tonight... it's very simple though, STOP STEVE SMITH - and you will beat Carolina... I just don't understand why they don't have a Corner and a Safety just blanket Smith and force Delhomme to pass to the other receiveres. Even if they can make some grabs you will at least neutralize the biggest threat on the field - especially after Foster went down with an injury. *shrugs* The Bear's D should still be solid next year, work out some kinks and hopefully gain a little offense and they should do better.

sorrt sweetheart.

in a way i feel bad for the colts since they always make it this far and never get past the playoffs. but they had so many chances to win the game, i mean the third quarter fumble was a perfect way to steal the game. unfortunatly, rostenberger is not only fat - he's also fast.

I think Dungee has a "no-superbowl" curse haunting him. Maybe it's a family curse?

What I don't understand about the Bear's loss is why you put Thompson on Steve Smith... Should have had Vasher on him all game.

I'm still a complete novice when it comes to football but over the past two years I have learned a lot, thanks to my fiancee` making me participate in fantasy football two years ago. *shakes fist at him* ;) So I ask forgiveness for anything related to football that may seem rather "newbish" or "ignorant" about the topic.

Because Peyton Manning did so well for me that year (as well as last year), I became a die hard Colts fan. I also like Denver and New England, but the Colts are my #1 team.

Over the past two years that I've diligently been watching football, it seems to me that the minute the Colts make it to the playoffs, they go downhill from there. I don't know if it's the pressure that seems to be thrust upon them as most expect them to win or what the deal is. This year, I had wondered if the death of Dungy's son didn't contribute to some of it this year. It has only been a few weeks since it happened, after all.

Anyways, just my thoughts and ponderings on it.

I am glad that Denver won, though. My fiancee` has been a Bronco's fan forever and has followed Jake Plummer's career since he was with Arizona. It's nice to finally hear the media saying nice things about Plummer and the Bronco's for once :)

I know pretty much nothing about football and only cheer for the Patriots because my brother was talking about how the Colts were playing them last year in the playoffs and he wanted the Colts to win. Naturally I had to cheer for the opposite team and in the end the Patriots won the Superbowl (which means I definately picked the right team to cheer for). But yeah as long as the Patriots and Colts aren't playing each other I'll cheer for the Colts.

Steelers are gonna win it all... I hope.
