My Harrowing Experience

Okay, So I was pumping gas at a gas station when I hear frantic voices a calling. I look over to see the Dash of a Model A Ford engulfed in flames. I run to signal the people to cut off the pumps, and return to see yellow smoke pouring from the car, no flames evident.
I breathe a sigh of relief, then I hear one of the owner's yell, "Fire Under the Hood!". As flames engulf the hood, I'm thinking, "Ah @#%$, it's all over for me", so I run for a fire extingusher, run back, and give it to the owner who puts out the fire. Then I look down at my hand, which is covered in blood. Turns out I lost a good chunk of skin on my hand to a glass shard where the Fire Extingusher was. But in the end, everything was okay, and thanks to our efforts, I was the only one who was injured. They were calling me a hero since I was the only one who was injured. I had my fun for the day!!!

Did you need stitches?

God that's something you don't hear everyday.

Well done.

Nah I didn't need stitches, it wasn't deep at all, just a wider and longer than usual scratch. But that was a scary moment. The guy's car, the Model A Ford, looked to be in bad shape, which is a real shame for a car that was in that good condition that is that old. But when I talked to the owner a little later he said simply put, "Cars can be replaced".
