It says that you obviously dont know what your talking about... and that you feel threatened by people of differing opions than you, and thus feel the need to call them stupid.

Sorry Kamon, I know that if you had it your way, you'd horde it all in your basement and not pay taxes at all. Though I wonder why you immediately associate all Democrats -- especially the ones on this board -- with Kerry, when I've criticized him so many times. I live in Canada. That place where we value social institutions.

I've got to ask Kamon, were you watching that last Bush press conferences? How a Republican can categorize liberals as "stupid" after seeing a drooling troglodyte with an IQ of minus fifty like Bush struggle through two-syllable words is beyond me. Probably the same way you can call yourselves logical and intelligent while basing the larger part of your political ideology on the proddings of the voice of Jesus in your head.

Kerry wants to take money FROM public schools and give it TO private schools. That say anything to you?

Heck yeah. It means private schools won't be putting up with little jerks simply because they need the tuition money the parents of the little angel provides. It (should) mean better tuition, more discipline in the classroom, and over all, better schooling.

Public schools are the debil.

. . .as my English teacher (from a public school) would say. .

"Life is just a conspiracy you haven't figured out yet."

*nods sagely, then wanders out of the thread, since he really doesn't pay much attention to politics, content in the nice protective bubble he lives in.* :)

Personally, Kamon, my PUBLIC school system isn't hurting for money. There are about 13 High Schools with 2 on the way in the county, plus dozens of middle and elementary schools and we are not hurting for cash at all. The Federal influence on education is minimal. 95% of the money going into public education is on a State and Local level.

True. The teachers being paid here don't make jack in this state, and I should know because I work for the school system.

Nobody with an IMPORTANT job gets paid here. The white-collar business people who sit in a cubicle and play games from 9 to 5 get all the money.

No, sociaty would never reward a teacher, their jobs actually have meaning.
