Damn poms!

Stealing our World Cup AND not giving us the Ashes.

THEN, when the first time in britains recent history sees them win something (read, anything) you arrogently go a @#%$ Knight the basterds?

FFS, australia wins dozens of world champions every year, and you don't see us doing that @#%$!

*is consumed by his bitterness*

Ah, lol, my bad.

Britain is the name of the only side to come out of the Isles that COULD beat the Aussies! :p

And no, personally i just find it stupid. Realistically, all the team did was win a tournement. As a result the entirity of the country went @#%$ mental.

These people did not win wars. These people did not do anything but restore the pride of nation gagging for something, ANYTHING not @#%$ to drag them from their dreary surroundings and life.

An honour from the Queen, that would be understandable.

But @#%$ Knighting the Captain, Coach and only real player in the team? Thats just ridiculous!

Hell, the coach of NZ is ten times the man clive woodward is. Coached the team that should have won the world cup.

What did NZ do to him?

He got fired, and do you know how he found out? Because NZRU started offering his job to other people. The @#%$ didn't even tell him.

2 ends of the spectrum, 2 equally @#%$ results.

How many friends of yours (seth, or whoever) actually supported the sport BEFORE you guys won?

Probably none, unless you went to a public school, of course.
