French? CNN? Kerry? What have they got in common?

I'm watching CNN right now. Apparently, a big election issue now is that Kerry's family has a french branch and can speak french. I don't believe this is news-worthy, as if the Anti-french antagonism isn't silly enough, now they're afraid of getting a leader who may in some obscure way be related to a country some people dislike.

Kerry could easily lose the election for his double speak and wishy washy lack of ideals... but instead, Bush brings up that he can speak French.

The guy is not too smart.

My grandfather's grandfather was French and so I have a French last name. Can I be on the hitlist too or is it an exclusive thing?
