They can't have all their hurricane damage from last year repaired yet, and now this:





And actually, the way it's looking right now, this storm may be stronger than Ivan was when it makes landfall in Pensacola.

That sucks. If anybody needs to get to shelter, do it.

I hate to say this though, I'm in Kentucky and we need the rain badly, so we need a break in the weather pattern.

It's weird that a hurricane this strong formed so early in the year. All I can say is hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Aww blast. Really sucks for the Pensacola people. What I'll have to go through doesn't compare. By the time it hits us in Southern Illinois it'll just be a depression. But that means high wind and lots of rain. Great. And I have to walk to class.

The idea that these deathdealers of nature are being compared to human entities is no less terrifying to me than the fact that there were and are some actual human entities that have done much more damage.
