What the hell is DeadBodyBoiz?

...

The words "Download the beatsampler, manz." in my first post link to my friend's website. This friend of mine has a band called DeadBodyBoiz. There is a link on the DeadBodyBoiz website to a .zip file of their beatsampler, which I am asking people to listen to. A beatsampler is a sample of beats. Manz is the word 'man' with a 'z' added on.

Clear enough ?

Well, it's interesting, and quite boring. It consists of an assortment of looping synthesizer beats, only one or two had a few simple changes during their respective run. I could make something pretty similar on my sister's synth in a few hours or so, and I'm sure she could generate something better in less time than that (I don't play keyboard). Put a base beat down, layer in a background fuzz, and then layer in a high rotating beat, and you have a beat.

(Live drums are better though. :) )

Do give your friends kudos for the fact that they recorded something and put it up for distribution, that's a big first step, one our band doesn't have the capability of doing yet...
