If you havn’t noticed, look above the staff listing in the header. It says “Contest: Write up a 500 word off-the-wall tongue-in-cheek story and post it in the Cafe for judging. Good luck!”

This is a listing of the stories submitted so far. The contest will continue to accept submissions for a week or two, then it will close and judging begin. You may submit as many stories as you wish.

Note: This is not restricted to just Star Wars, it can be about anything

The Next Saddam

Originality: 3
Humor: 3
Drama: 2
Enjoyability: 4

Final Thoughts:

Good story, unfortunately not too original. I’ve read similar before. Slightly humorous, as it could be true. Enjoyable to read overall. It suffers not at its premise, but at its execution. Perhaps a better plot twist? I don’t know.

Not bad, but not an oscar winner. :)

Hanging Around

Originality : 3
Humor: 4
Drama: 3
Enjoyability: 5

Final Thoughts:

Very nice! I liked the character you put into the characters, as well as the jokes. The toilet thing really hit my funny bone. The only problem is it seems to be part of a bigger story, seemed very incomplete in the sudden way it ended.

Nice. :)

An Enjoyable read, enjoyed how the message changed as well as the ending. Smells of a fine british humour old Douglas might enjoy.

A Ninja's Tale: Twlight

Originality:4
Humor:1
Drama:3
Enjoyability:3

Final Thoughts:
Good story, it would work well if developed into a longer tale. I think the low word restriction killed much of the drama here.

Not bad, keep it up.

A Ninja's Tale: Shadowblade

Originality:4
Humor:1
Drama:3
Enjoyability:3

Final Thoughts:
Same as your previous story, Kamon. The requirement that it be short killed it. If you combined the two (which you probably have in mind) they would work much better.

Not bad, keep it up.

Yes that basically ruined everything and yes originally I had planne don it being quite a bit longer. Not a novel but somewhat of a long tale of the Ninja.

It wasn't tongue in cheek though.
